Or perhaps the death of my tv or my controller.
The old part animation and then stop doing the device is starting to drive me batty. One wave last night it went down to within a few seconds of completing and this is with me getting to all devices asap and making them a priority. You get to a device with no enemies nearby starting doing the thing and after the 8-10 restarts you just know they are coming for you.
Has anyone found a way to avoid this? I've tried standing further away, closer to , a bit to the side, everything I can think of to get it to not stop mid hack. I am wondering if the animation they put on the character has something to do with breaking the hack? Instead of just kneeling down and hacking like in me3 you are fiddling with your omni toll as you hack.
Also, is this an issue for all systems? PC players, do you have this problem?

I was fine till yesterday, but it saw it happen yesterday. On pc, for me at least, some of my progress of unplugging it was preserved, it just was sort of rolling back once interrupted, so I just ended up spamming E to keep pushing it to completion in the sort of one step backwards, two step forwards way. I am not sure what to make of it. |

Are you on XB1? I am and I've never had a problem other than having to stop completely then press Y. If I'm moving and the Y icon is up my guy will melee. That's the only annoying part for me.

PC players, do you have this problem? Yes. It's lag. |

Device has glitch if you have lag/bad host.
It will constantly stop u from completing the each device object.
Until they fix this, this mission should be removed entirely.

Yes xbox one, I've had total restarts but mostly it progress to a point you get kicked off and you start again from the point it was before. IF you are lucky you can do it in about 3 times, at times it goes back to the start though. |

Ah okay, lag is the problem funny though never once had that problem in me3 even in some semi laggy matches. And ive only had bad lag in about 3 or 4 matches in total so far.
so in that case, is it best for the host to always do the device then if possible?

I suffered few games on PS4 where I could not defuse device due to the lag. I was lucky that I had other players recognizing the problem and intervene despite I was the infiltrator. At least, I blew all enemies away for them using my Cobra. (if I didn`t do this much.. they probably have sent me few hate letters for being a troll) ...Yeah. If the connection won`t let you hack it there is nothing you can do but to let others handle it. ME3 MP had similar issue but not as bad as this one. |

Or Bioware could just make it not lose progress if you stop or are interrupted. It's not like most players get gold on this objective anyway, so does it really matter if they make it slightly easier?

This problem happened with me yesterday, for the first time. They reset several times, but the devices didn't return to 0, the progress was kept.
