I haven't actually purchased any consumables with mission funds, but I'm assuming that it's 1 of a given item for 5 MF? If so, I would probably only be buying consumables in order to keep myself from hitting the mission fund cap... and maybe not even then. Easier to just run 1 gold and buy 20 or so supply packs.

You can buy consumables with it, which is very useful. This way you don't have to buy supply packs. I was surprised they didn't put consumable slots into the mission funds store. So surprised in fact, that I bought a few gels thinking that I WAS buying slots. 5/10/20/40 tiered pricing for your 2nd/3rd/4th/5th slot would have been a reasonable mechanic. The economics of buying a single gel, etc for 5 points doesn't really make much sense to me. |
