Is there a limit to how much mission funds you can hold?

I highly doubt it. If there is a cap, it won't be below 999.

Right now, there seems to be a cap on things I actually want to use Mission Funds FOR, which is basically the equipment items and then nothing else.

Because you can easily get loads of them with nothing to drop them on until they drop a new gear set?

The real question is will there eventually be things that cost a lots of mission funds so should I save them, or try to max rockets and gels....

I haven't actually purchased any consumables with mission funds, but I'm assuming that it's 1 of a given item for 5 MF? If so, I would probably only be buying consumables in order to keep myself from hitting the mission fund cap... and maybe not even then. Easier to just run 1 gold and buy 20 or so supply packs.

So surprised in fact, that I bought a few gels thinking that I WAS buying slots. 5/10/20/40 tiered pricing for your 2nd/3rd/4th/5th slot would have been a reasonable mechanic. The economics of buying a single gel, etc for 5 points doesn't really make much sense to me.

Why on earth would I want to spend MF on Strike Teams, whose only purpose is to... earn more MF that I don't need anyway? o.O Also, how are you not already swimming in consumables of every type already, just from maxing manifest?

Not if you use them. Expert packs cost a lot and give you 1-3 consumables at most. I can easily use 3-5 rockets/revives/survival in a gold match.

I suppose that's true, I'm still maxing uncommon and it seems like consumables will never run out, lol. I just use them like candy atm, at least rockets.

Reminds me of that PSA in the 80s on cocaine use. "I do coke, so I can work harder, so I can earn more, so I can...do more coke, so I can work harder..."
