What pods best improve the flow of the game? I want to make gameplay as linear shooter as possible like ME2 and ME3. Cut down on the open world RPG go search for crap business.
I'm thinking in order starting with most useful.
Lab Techs Improved Deployment
This pair reduces and maybe even eliminates the need to scan everything. Scanning is incredibly disruptive.
Hunting Parties/Special Forces/Recon then Advanced Training
Extra XP means faster leveling and less driving around to spawn random enemies.
Grey Market then Market Dominance.
Is my thaw cryo pods order correct for streamlining gameplay or should I do it in a different order?

Lab Techs only give Milky Way research points. That and the commerce one that gives you more inventory space is pretty nifty. Plus the one that gives you materials from all of the pods...minerals, natural items, Eezo, credits... Makes mining and stuff less important, which I appreciate.

RageUnderFire: Don't worry, it is still a really nice perk to unlock Don't know what spec you are planning to run, but pretty much all the best weapons (or at least second best) in each category are Milky Way Tech - Pistol: Sidewinder, Shotgun: N7 Piranha, AR: Sandstorm, SR: Black Widow. Exception is Melee (if playing Vanguard): Kett fire sword

Still erly in the game (lvl 15). Unlocked mining, inventory, and just unlocked hidden caches. Looking forward to seeing in them. Quite a few of them on Voeld.

The hidden caches are pretty good but they certainly wouldn't reduce the open world gameplay since you still have to go get them and they are mostly out of the way. OP, I'd say anything that gives you recourses over time might interest you the most + possibly the vendor price thing, maybe Haven't unlocked it myself so I am not sure how much difference it makes but it might be interesting if you want to buy equipment rather than doing mining and crafting (or even if you do crafting, you can buy the materials from vendors as well).

I think imma skip the credit generation upgrades.
I plan to do the credit glitch to minimize the time spent running around doing open world rpg crap

Lab Techs only give Milky Way research points. Which is important, considering its the hardest research to get.

I went for almost all of the perks that gave you something, first -minerals, bio-mins, mats, credits, research points, etc. I think imma skip the credit generation upgrades. I plan to do the credit glitch to minimize the time spent running around doing open world rpg crap I honestly wouldn't waste your time with credits lol. Crafting is where the real value is in this game. 75-80ish hours into the game, and I think the only thing of value I've purchased is Nomad skins. On the rare occasions where you might need credits to purchase something (crafting materials, etc), you'll always have enough by selling salvage and collecting from missions.

So far I've got the ones that drop off mineral, biological material and credits every 45 minutes or whatever. Seemed like the most useful to me.

Doesn't seem like very much You can find them around remnant sites to. There's just usually a bunch in vaults. A couple of the vaults have around 8 or 9.
