Yes Lord Commander. Game of Thrones is not about heroes stopping bad guys. It's about the pursuit of power. If you're referring to the potential unification of the Houses the story is building towards, in order to stop the White Walkers, that's something motivated by survival. The bulk of this story up to this point has been about political figures trying to destroy rival houses and gain more power. The only reason these people would have any interest in joining forces against the WW, is because they're a common enemy that threatens all life in Westeros. Again, survival. Jon is the closest thing in the setting to be considered a classic hero, but that does not make A Song of Ice and Fire, a "typical hero rises to stop the bad guys" story. It's been more complex than that. We also don't even know how the story ends. And many things you talk about Andromeda needing to have...it has. Politics? Check War? Check A 'hero' that has to make the best of a bad situation and often choosing between morally gray options often for less then ideal results? Check None real scheming yet... The difference between the two is more a matter of theme, focus, and presentation Isn't that what I've been saying? Andromeda does have some politics and war, but it's not written well. It's like a bad version of Joss Whedon's writing with it's overall tone and dialogue. What I wanted to see is Andromeda do politics and war correctly, and I would've enjoyed a more Game of Thrones approach in that regard, IF they had the talented writers to pull it off. Which they don't.

i find them pretty generic, the have technology, but they don't seem intelligent, and i think there should be a lot more background story for them
and i don't see them menacing, yeah, their weapons deal damage, but that's it
after the collectors and reapers it's hard to see other new factions as dangerous, maybe it's just me
if they want to use the kett as enemy in new games, the kett must "evolve" be more dangerou, and intelligent, and really menacing for everyone

I think after the reapers, we can all pretty much agree its hard to up them.
Now if Bioware had put the kett like enemy first, then we would have no problem. The problem is they went for the reapers first.

The problem is they went for the reapers first. Yeah giant sentient space ships that kill all advanced species every 50,000 years is hard to beat. But from what it sounded like the archon was losing it and the kett are far more numerous and powerful then we have seen so far

You're gonna have to explain that one, cause if you're referring to something, I don't know what it is.
