What we see in MEA is only a small amount of the force the kett have. So it is reasonable to have more games with them as the bad guys. I mean they are creepy looking aliens who are essentially religous zealouts bent on genocide of every species besides them. And if you really want to get technical they have the whole "perfect our genes" thing going which is another horrible thing when you consider what they mean to do with it

They have no reproductive organs. In other words, to have new Kett they need other races or they die out.

The Kett are Andromeda's Prothean Empire/Collectors.
It make for a pretty badAZZ plot if we take fight directly to the Kett systems in next game.
My gut says they aren't going to be the galactic threat that the Reaps were. That award goes to whatever forced the Jaardan unleash the scourge and pack their bags from Helius

Especially the Archon reveal - he's like a little puppy.

I thought the Kett were done pretty poorly. They look like reskinned Turians. I think they'd have been much better off with something that looked a lot more, "evil" and less human.
I'm not sure why Bioware is limiting their alien designs to just stuff with weird legs.

They're not full aliens, but rather humanoid aliens. Kind of like Leela from Futurama. Or Teal'c from Stargate is a humanoid alien, who looks human on the outside even though the internal anatomy is slightly different (has a symbiote in his gut as a life force).

The Kett are essentially the Borg, to put it simply. That type of villain can be interesting, but I don't think it was in this game. The reason the Reapers worked so well as villains in the first game, is because the game did a great shop emphasizing the level of threat those guys posed. They were massive, intelligent, their motivations were unknown, there was A LOT of them, and they have wiped us out before, more times than we can count. ME1 ended with the threat of the Reapers still hung over us. They were coming.
In this game it's the Borg, and we pretty much know their motivations and what they're about. They're realigous zealots who view themselves as the superior race of the galaxy, and they assimilate other races into Kett. Again, this could've been interesting, but the execution of it felt pretty generic. I don't think the Kett are strong enough villains to carry a new Mass Effect saga.
What Andromeda should've been, is the Milky Way aliens, finding themselves in the middle of a massive galactic war between two factions in Andromeda, and for it to be heavily political, instead of based on race. That way it would open many doors for us to really know what these new races are about, their cultures, and their motivations. Although I don't think Bioware has talented enough writers to do politics correctly.

I also find some resemblance to the Reapers in the Kett. Especially how they exalt people.

When they teased us about oftentimes making uneasy alliances that's exactly what I thought this game would be. You pick which aliens to side with and which to kill to ensure the MW's surival in Andromeda. Instead we the random stranger into a new galaxy become hero.

You know, I never really thought about it before you described that... but I'd say more than Borg, they're kind of like Nazi's in space. Building that perfect super soldier Aryan race, by stealing genetics from lesser races. And then exterminating the ones they don't "uplift", by either killing them outright, or working them to death in camps.

When they teased us about oftentimes making uneasy alliances that's exactly what I thought this game would be. You pick which aliens to side with and which to kill to ensure the MW's surival in Andromeda. Instead we the random stranger into a new galaxy become hero. Well it wouldn't be the first time Bioware told us something and then ended up doing the opposite. If Bioware had the talent in their writing department, I would've loved to see Mass Effect: Andromeda, be Game of Thrones in space. Not exactly like Game of Thrones, but people should know what I mean when I say that. Heavily political, morally gray, war, scheming, that sort of thing. What if we weren't a hero? What if we were just some guy, trying to do his best in an overall shit situation? What if we try are hardest to be a good person, but reality keeps hitting us over the head and we have to sometimes do bad things, in order to make the situation just a little bit better? I'd rather see that, than another typical "Hero rises to stop bad guys". ME2, more specifically any storyline revolving around Omega, proved that this series has always had huge potential to tell a great underground story.

B. Game of Thrones is a story of heroes rising to stop the bad guy.

ME3 was the closest thing we had to f over one group to secure the alliance of another group game.
Combine that with hit style missions of ME2

The Kett are the most half-baked "hostile" faction BioWare has produced.
They won't be remembered the way people remember the Geth, Reapers, and even Collectors.

Please don't discuss topics that you clearly know nothing about. you did see what my last avatar was right? Yes Lord Commander. Game of Thrones is not about heroes stopping bad guys. It's about the pursuit of power. If you're referring to the potential unification of the Houses the story is building towards, in order to stop the White Walkers, that's something motivated by survival. The bulk of this story up to this point has been about political figures trying to destroy rival houses and gain more power. The only reason these people would have any interest in joining forces against the WW, is because they're a common enemy that threatens all life in Westeros. Again, survival. Jon is the closest thing in the setting to be considered a classic hero, but that does not make A Song of Ice and Fire, a "typical hero rises to stop the bad guys" story. It's been more complex than that. We also don't even know how the story ends.

The Kett really are one of the most uninspired alien races in this entire galaxy. They are just so .... generic. That rather intriguing interconnection between the Geth, Collectors, and Reapers was what made those races stand out to be more than just 'bipedal aliens/robot with guns'. The first introduction of that Kett archon was just comic book evil, I cringed a little bit.

We'll probably end up allying with kett, in some form, after some events.
And get used to all their fancy speak.
Which in turn will let us better understand the Reapers when we return to the Milky Way which has been taken over by an indoctrinated Shepard god.
Kett vs Husk people, bring it on.

Kett might be the future villains, theyre like a more fucked up version of the Covenant from Halo. I also feel they might intruduce something else.
Like perhaps the "the opposition", the enemy the remnant creators were fighting against.
