Do you need to activate the monoliths first to gain access to the vaults?
I've noticed in my exploring that I've found the vault first, which seems open & even has the gravity well activator inside the door. But I haven't tried it yet.
Do you need to activate the monoliths first? Or can you just skip straight to the vault?

Yes, you have to activate the monoliths first. There are other Remnant ruins with just treasure that use gravity wells. You could just be finding one of those.

The entrance to the vault will be sealed if you try going there before activating the monoliths, you won't even get to the gravity well.

The entrance to the vault will be sealed if you try going there before activating the monoliths, you won't even get to the gravity well. On Eladeen, I found the vault while only activating 1 Monolith. I went down, opened the door, and saw the floaty gravity well thing. Not wanting to risk it, I left. I turned the other 2 monoliths on, and ended up being pointed to the vault I checked out before. This time, when I got close the vaut "emerged" from the ground, even though it was there with only 1/3 activated. Bug? Am I seeing things?
