I have 3300 Origin points from in-game achievements, but for the last several months at least I have noticed my point total has a few extra added on. Yesterday it was 3306, today it is 3308. I haven't even played a game thru Origin in almost a week, so I have no idea why the number keeps changing.

Anyone know where these extra points are coming from?

The latest version of the beta, the extra points disappeared.

But turning off autoupdate for games was not persistent ... I had to reset it each time I opened Origin ... so I uninstalled the latest beta and installed the current non-beta version ... and the points returned.

Previously, the extra points were present in the beta ... since until recently, that's all I've run.

Still no idea why. AFAIK, it neither helps nor hurts anything I do in any game.

Strange. The moment I upgraded points were back to normal and turning off game updates worked (still working).
