Wtf is "base penetration distance"??
Wtf is "base penetration damage"??
What do these mods actually do? Should we be equipping them or do they belong in the trash with all the weapons and powers in the game?
Someone please explain it to me like I'm 5.

Presumably they let you shoot through cover with reduced damage. The name is super super bad. It is just a random word with no relevance.

As above Translated for five year old. If bad guy is behind a wall or cover when you shoot where he is you will hit him as long as the wall isn't too thick But it seems broken atm sometimes works, sometimes doesn't bsn.boards.net/thread/7243/piercing-mods |

I wouldn't explain penetration to a 5 year old. You'd be doing them a disservice, then. They'll grow up not knowing the difference between soft and hard cover, and when they first encounter the enemy, it will be much more distressing and painful than it needs to be... |

It lets you tickle enemies balls through cover. If you hit the sweet spot they even jump out of cover. Pretty op imo.
