People might already know this,
but I must say this here one more time.

Players who join the on-going games
CANNOT perform device missions.

The defusing process will be canceled for whatever reason and will never let the player complete it.

I am 100% certain of this... from my own experience and seeing other players` actions.

This is absolutely heartbreaking, annyoing and scary.
It`s epidemic since many players start game alone and wait for others to drop in.

Need to be patched as soon as possible.

Hello! I play really really casual now.
PuG only player. Random teams always present a new challenge and gameplay, and I will be bored without them.

Its not a perfect fix but how I managed to get it done easier when I join a game mid match.

Hadn't encountered this yet. Actually, hadn't even heard about it, but...

Was just playing the current APEX gold mission on Icebreaker with e-Hoss, jmac1424 and ellcrys70 ... during wave 3 devices, e-Hoss took on another dude as an observer via the SharePlay thingie and all of a sudden we could no longer do the 3rd device (the devices were there but no triangle symbol appeared - for any of us). So it's possible that this glitch is also activated by someone joining solely as a spectator.

Yes something like this. It cuts out halfway through and you have to wait till your guy stops the animation with the gun. 3 attempts and it works. Annoying as hell though
