because of so many people getting fucked by "fate" (EA/Bioware),
there is a surprisingly high chance you can jump directly into wave 5-6 through matchmaking.
Happened more than once for me....
You get full XP and credits as it seems.
But I always hold my breath for a brief moment, in honor for the poor bastard who is raging on his desktop right now....
