How to avoid crahses: an idea.

I have read it at the EA site that CTDs are account specific. A guy never had a crash playing from his own account but he had it very frequent crashes when he changed to his wife’s account on the very same computer.

This gave me an idea. I had frequent crashes on some days but never had any on other days. It turned out that I whenever I had the Vanquiser equipped I had a CTD. I know this is insane but at least there is pattern in it.

I also know that it cannot be the Vanquiser for everyone. However, it is possible that everyone has a bugged weapon or kit that gives him/her CTD. I strongly urge everyone with frequent CTD problems to keep a tally of the weapons/kits they were playing with when they had CTDs. It could be that they have to avoid only one weapon or kit and they can play safe with the rest.

This could also explain why some people never got CTDs, if this bugged weapon is a crappy one for that account/person then he/she will play it very rarely and thus play without frequent crashes.
