Hah, even the N7 Hurricane seems stable! My ME3 Hurricane didn't get stable until level 10 (and that with a stability mod). Got my first MEA Hurricane yesterday and it's good right off the bat (thankfully!) I say, don't knock it?

When no weapons have recoil, a stability passive is not needed and should not be in the game and recoil gives weapons character. I miss it.

There's some recoil, but responsive use of your mouse can compensate most of it, so I figure many people just won't notice because they are manually compensating.

The only weapon I can think of is the Shadow - it has a continous pull to the top. Wouldn´t really call it recoil. I also miss weapons that "[x] are good on a turian".

Because there is recoil in this game.
It's just not bad.

I find there are more classes with stability passives in the game comparable to the amount of weapons that actually have any benefit to these passives.
Edit: I suppose it doesn't really matter with the state of weapon balance currently anyway. I guess for now we just skip stability passives until a weapon with recoil reaches a point where it's worth taking?

Haven't run any tests, but it might have something to do with accuracy. Game developers often include all kinds of weird things into other stats (e.g. Destiny has accuracy tied into range of all things, meaning certain weapon types such as handcannons are pretty much pointless without maxing it out), so it could be that stability and accuracy go together in MEA. This is a hypothesis way out of left field though, so it's almost guaranteed to be wrong. Just a thought.

Also: Most guns are BB caliber anyway.

If it works like it worked in ME3, then the stability mod also increases accuracy (reduces spread), so even in guns with very light recoil you may want that mod on to make them more accurate. In ME3 I used to equip the stability damper on the Phaeston (notorious for being a very low recoil weap) to increase its accuracy even further.

Indra has terrible recoil. Also Incisor and Sweeper. This. I don't have the Incisor or Sweeper, the the Indra's recoil is horrifying. Good luck keeping it on target against anything smaller than a Fiend.
