1. Visible bare faces/No hair option - Most of them are not pretty and underwhelming. Ugly and plain.
2. No Helmet on/off option - Limits options. Give us recon mask at least.
3. No race selection - There is no reason not to give us race option... Is any of them even caucasian? Side note: Only saw one female engineer online. ...and No, I am not white nor racist.
4. Pre-set background - What`s the purpose of this for MP character? Am I supposed care about how MP players lost their family and became criminal instead of the story I give? Better be gone.
5. Female Krogans - I have nothing against females... but when it comes to Krogan I wish they were all males. Not sure how lore works out, but I am so tired of political correctness in video game.... Maybe it has nothing to do with PC, but I would prefer more male Krogans none-the-less.
Like modelings and how they tried to differentiate skills of same class depends on the race.
....I hate single player characters... but I cannot say I like MP characters much more than them...

If I'm remembering right, there are a lot less females than males, and with the genophage, they really can't afford to be letting the females die in combat. |

I don't mind the looks but this is one area that DAIMP was far better than this game. WAY more personality and you could actually clearly hear what the characters say.

I know many people will say 'oh this game is fine as it is' but unlike ME3MP.. MEAMP has characters with exposed facial appearances. I really hoped character cards unlock more appearance options, but they really do not. I am just saying that if they are going to take helmet off many characters, they should try to give us more options for appearances. If not for andromeda, for future titles. |

Someone told me they were thinking about making helmets an option. Yeah. I miss how I was able to emotionally involve my self with ME3MP character.. because with helmets on they could be anyone I wanted them to be. |

If the Krogan were to fly to a new galaxy to settle, they would need both males and females. And with the fertility rates going up from the genetical procedures they got in cryo there's no need to keep females safe. Besides, unlike on Tuchanka they don't really need unfertile decoys in Andromeda. Kett target everyone, they don't care about Krogan fertility rates. So if a female krogan is still unfertile, she can do her own thing without it affecting the amount of krogan children. And what is a krogan's favourite hobby? That's right. Shooting stuff. So why wouldn't APEX use female krogan? There's your explanation. I wouldn't say this isn't from the PC culture at Bioware, but it makes sense. As for the pre-set backgrounds... I don't see the problem. Nobody's forcing you to read them, and some people (like me) enjoy those. They might be lacking, dumb or contradictory (Asari Adept), but IMHO they add something to the "characters". If you think those should be gone cuz you don't like them... I can say the same thing about the things you want to be added. |
