This multiplayer is severely lacking in variety of characters and kits compared to ME3MP. It's also lacking in the objectives department as well.
Also, where the hell is Havok Strike on my Turian Havok?! Oh right, they replaced it with some longer hoover passive. Like really?! What is the point of being a "expert that specializes in aerial combat" and having no aerial ability?!

are you aware that ME3MP launched with 4 or 5 characters per class? (2 of those being female/male human mirrors)The rest were all DLC.
I suspect its more a gun balance issue. most AR's aren't worth using relative to certain pistols/snipers and most shotguns don't pack the punch you'd expect. Once we get out of melee/sniper meta, I think several classes might be a lot more fun.

ME3MP two weeks after release was quite lackluster as well. Even more so than MEAMP, one could say.

yeah well, nah not really. i'm still not buying the whole " but hey, look at the way ME3MP was at launch".
not only bioware had (at least?) 5 years of their development time in MEAMP they also had under their belt the, unexpectedly even for them, successful ME3MP, with its associated development (prior to launch) and then active support for what, about an year? yet you get to MEAMP and it feels like all the BW's collective memory together with all documentation and brain power of that got obliterated, suffered a major amnesia attack, something or rather and we're back to the time of ME3MP's being first MP experience for BW.
well we're not back to 2012 we're still in 2017 and the expectation for MEAMP had been for it to be ME3MP+, ME3MPv2, release 2 or the like. Otherwise why would you be so inclined on keeping the brand in the first place, tgat;s rhetoric question i know
so nah, back to the point - don't really think it's that much of teh valid argunment keep to comparing MEAMP and ME3MP at their respective launch to justify the insufficiently tested (cancelled Beta? well done BW) rushed, undercooked and oversold mediocrity that MEA currently is
