I don't think I need to say anything else. All she does is grunt in my game, at least besides the two story quest mandated conversations. Doesn't even show up for the after party when I've made her a Nexus big wig to piss off Tann.

Lamest cutscene in the history of sci-fi.
Robot Jocks had better action.

Eh.. Sloane is the bigger piece of work I find. Just can't lose the attitude. I even started laying off Addison lately, cause even she can "turn it off". If Drack approves, Ryder approves.

She's my least favorite character. I helped her because I didn't want to lose the Krogan, but I couldn't stand her and don't trust her. Doesn't help that I can't take her seriously when her voice makes her sound like a whiny Krogan valley girl.

Lamest cutscene in the history of sci-fi. Robot Jocks had better action. "Crash and burn". ...the scene really was lame, though. Also: She keeps calling Ryder "Nexus trash" even after you ally with her, not very nice.

I thought it was a guy the first time Morda appeared on screen. I still think they took a guy as VA.

She really is. Comes to Andromeda for a fresh start, gets in a fight (disagreements really), leaves and insults the nexus people. Gets help from pathfinder, then insults them, then gets mad when pathfinder doesn't give an alien (as in they don't even have a full understanding of it besides it powering a ship) power core that can be used as a weapon by a species known for war. While I fault the nexus for having hostility towards the krogans when the krogan helped clear the exiles out and broke the disagreements, the krogan really don't help their case when they let their instincts take over and start giving out threats. Like I said, the krogan have a big history of war, they're a very dominant species and could be an issue if you got in their way so taking the core away made sense to me, I do t want to chance it. I do wonder if they'll carry that decision into the later games as I bet the krogan will prove my point further in their dominant instincts.

I thought it was a guy the first time Morda appeared on screen. I still think they took a guy as VA. The female Krogan have a voice filter effect applied to them that makes their voice sound deeper. Kesh is voiced by Allegra Clark for instance, who voiced Josephine Montilyet in DA:I. Morda most probably had a female VA, but whatever they did to alter the voices makes her voice sound off. It is a problem with most of the female Krogan.

It is a problem with most of the female Krogan. The problem I have is that they sound nothing like Bakara Urdnot. And Morda certainly doesn't act anything like her. With Bakara, I had the sense like, OK, I see how female Krogran would be able to exert some control over their ridiculously aggressive male counterparts. With Morda, I have no idea what the other Krogan see in her at all. Do they like her sass???

Sloane sounds like a pissed off librarian giving some poor kid grief cause he brought a book back 2 days overdue.
Should have used someone like Aria's VA. That woman had some serious authority beyond her voice.

Her only redeeming quality in-game is that she pisses Tann off. Kadara MQ decision: I spared her from Reyes's attempted murder (and I didn't kill him either) but I still don't like her. Again, the only plus is that it probably pisses Tann off that she's the one defending the colony from the cannibals.

The thing I hate about Sloan and Morda is the empty posturing. You can tell Morda you consider aggression an act of war, which is close, but you can't call either of them out on the fact the Nexus would destroy them and their threats ring hallow.
You outnumber them all considerably even before the arks start rolling in. I mean honestly they each number a few hundred and their up against tens of thousands from four different races with better weaponry and tech. Where did this false sense of security come from?

Haven't read the book, and thought she was way too sour in game. However I felt like the casual responses would eventually have to work on her, or it rather became a personal quest to see something other than that mean ass look on her face. After saving her life, and asking about that Turian guard she seemed to soften up a lot. When she came to help with the fight at the end, I got rather happy. Didn't care about any of the others who joined. It was like "I got to her! She's softening up to my Ryder's shitty charm". The epilogue chat, made me think she really had. Victory!

Maybe, I haven't seen any of that. It would help if I actually thought the exiles had a legitimate grievance, but frankly I don't see it. Tann may be an ass, but he didn't actually make the wrong call up until he brought the Krogan into it.

I think Morda, along with Sloane, suffer from both being poorly written in-game and content being cut from both of their storylines (and the content we do get not being shored up enough to flow/conclude properly).

Tann may be an ass, but he didn't actually make the wrong call up until he brought the Krogan into it. In the book, though, she's not part of the uprising at all. She goes to negotiate a peace settlement, ends up reacting in self-defense (as a soldier/cop naturally would) to a krogan attacker, then decides to 'side' with the rebels to contain them and keep them from being too crazy.
Whereas, in the game, there are literally emails you'll read where people talk about joining Sloane's rebellion (something that did not exist in the book!)
