Anyone else like to spam ops packs while doing devices?

Not much choice if your team is unwilling to shield you from damage...

Yep that's why i pop those suckers. I play with pathetic useless noobs who will refuse to do do devices and will stay camped and rooted at the same location, all the way at the opposite end of the map while I'm trying to run around do all the devices myself. And the worst part is that they tend to be infiltrators more often than not. Shocking! Though I will occasionally get the decent avenger pug who cloaks me up while I'm fetching devices. It's a mixed bag of skittles.

That's interesting. I always try to do objectives as infiltrator

I found a new appreciation for the huntress.
Cheese devices.
Cheese multi-point hacking somewhat.

Also great for rescuing melee man-mode players that get owned in impossible situations.

No you aren't, and full shields can be broken in less than 2 seconds.

I find that most of the time... even spamming OPS pack won`t save you if situation is that dire.

Might let you finish one device out of four.. only if the device was close to being defused.
It`s not that much of help in the situation you speak of.

It can be useful though. I think they removed that invincibility bonus from ME3MP so it`s not really that useful for device objective.

Yes, you fucking do! You get to participate in the extraction Credits/XP whatever! While somebody is busy twiddling their knobs, you can still skill stuff for points and be useful.

Also, everybody RUSHING to the objective is clearly a lie in public games. When i do the objectives, nobody shields me and nobody is ever there first - at least rarely. I´ve seen public games were people would rather fail so they could kill a bit more stuff. It´s ridiculous.

If only pugs had this mentality it's rather curious how I seem to be the only one rushing to do objectives in pug games. I'll often be the only guy inside the hack in a 4 player team, and I'll be the only one running around the map doing devices. It's very odd. Either pugs have absolutely no idea what's going on, or they simply refuse to play the objective. When I start playing the infiltrators regularly, of course it'd be my job to take charge of objectives. Pugs have no concept of this, it's really frustrating!

Proof is in the victory screen. If you don´t shield your teammates, you don´t extract. At least, sometimes you don´t. The guy twiddling his knobs may get 500 points, but he can´t kill stuff for 10 seconds and most likely does have to use a first aid pack.

OF COURSE there is no detection of whether or not a projectile would have collided with your teammates face and you took the bullet for him. This ain´t Bodyguard the movie.
