how to make this viable for Insanity SP?
A kind forum member briefly discussed this build with me in another thread.
Weapons pack a big damage shotgun and rangy azzault rifle. I'm aware of Andromeda's Claymore equivalent, but what acts as the Cerberus Harrier in this game?
Powers.
Cryo Beam is a must.
Energy drain is a happy middle ground between the stimulant packs, overload, and repair matrix.
*Energy drain is swapped out for Charge if we go with Vanguard profile.
Cloak is an obvious.
Profile is a debate between Soldier, Sentinel, or Vanguard. Sentinel's tech armor can save your ass in emergencies which mimics the Ghost's stimulant packs and the AIU's repair matrix.
Soldier for the weapon damage bonuses, bigger clip, and marksman's focus. Ghost and AIU were weapon based classes.
Vanguard because melee is godly in this game. Shield jacking people as you shank them would be the equivalent of the Ghost and AIU's survival powers.

If I was making a TGI/AIU.
Weapon: Thokin (I think is the equiv of harrier), revenant or dahn shotgun.
cryo pod bonus required: Innovation (Increases augmentation slots by 1)
Armor: Remnant armor set
weapon augment slots: bio-converter/Disruptor ammo augment Weapon damage (via kinetic coil) Weapon damage weapon damage
Armor augments: Shield oscilator Damage resistance + 5 (via kinetic coil) Damage resistance +5 Damage resistance +5 Damage resistance +5
Legs, arms, helmets: Tech recharge Tech recharge Tech recharge
Random melee wep with 5 slots: Tech recharge Tech recharge Tech recharge Tech recharge
Energy drain: Recharge speed Extended drain Damage
Cryobeam: recharge speed brittle snap freeze
TC: Damage bonus Movement speed combat cloak
And I would pick the soldier profile for the weapon damage and clip size.

Another few things you can add.
Is getting the fusion mod cryo pod bonus to lessen the penalty.
And for your fusion mod you can use:
Mod of Rupture: 25% increased weapon headshot/weakpoint damage bonus for 70% reduced weapon clip size. Obtained through Elaaden Vault activation
To further increase your weapon damage, the clip size reduction shouldn't be an issue when using the bio-converter augment, and the health situation should in theory be ok, because of the life support perk in the team support passive in the tech tree.
And if you want the infiltrator profile is what I would recommend as well along with soldier.
Also with the assault rifle passive in the combat tree, go spare ammo, clip size, and for rank 6 you can go either, but if I had to choose I would probably choose critical hits instead of shatter defences.
