I have been having this bug where whenever i press the dash button i lose health, yet i dont lose any of my shields, just health. i have even changed profiles and the same thing happens. speaking of profiles for some odd reason i also have not be able to use the favorites system. whenever i go on to the profile menu and press and hold start it just exists me out of the menu and into the game. am i doing something wrong with the profile system or do i have an more than usual buggy game? has anyone else had these issues?

So I found out why you lose health. Did you use the chest fusion mod with Damage Res / Lose health on evade. Go look at it, this is the reason. My entire first play-through I had this happen and didn't know or care why, I didn't even realise I was losing health evading all the time, but that "hit marker" was always there moving. Didn't know why. Check the fusion mod.

No offense intended, but this makes me believe that your Favorites issue is also likely a case of user error. Building, loading and equipping all of your Favorites is a bit unintuitive, at first. Did you pay close attention to the displayed/written instructions at the bottom of the screen? I've also found that, whenever I alter a Favorite in the menus, I must go back and re-equip my Profile, saving the Favorite twice. The interface is clunky, but the system works well, in my experience.

It took me a while to figure out that I didn't need to choose eg Adept to pick the Biotic powers and that I could mix and match profile buffs and skills. Favorites are much more flexible that they first appear.

Favorites are much more flexible that they first appear. Yeah, sometimes the obvious choice isn't the optimal one. For instance, Explorer can be better for gunplay than Soldier, in certain situations. I generally use Sentinel, rather than Engineer, for my caster-style Engineer build. I find the improved tech cooldown and added durability is just as useful as the Engineer perks.
