My Vanguard is currently level 17 and I have used Heavy Charge a whole freaking lot. So I should have gotten the Brawler achievement quit a long time ago. but at Vanguard lvl 17 the achievement shows like this ... I am getting really annoyed more and more about the achievement problems I have experienced since I started playing the ME games! One would expect that after so many years Bioware/EA would have looked into this.  ( Some may think I am overreacting, but still!? ) |

You have to melee (punch) > shoot and kill 20 times to get the achievement. Biotic charge does not count as the 'knockback' for this achievement. You have to use melee to get the achievement.

Hmm great in game description of that achievement then. Still I have used a melee attack several times ( perhaps not 20 times. ) after a charge ... should that not show up at least?

Hmm great in game description of that achievement then. Still I have used a melee attack several times ( perhaps not 20 times. ) after a charge ... should that not show up at least? To count towards the achievement, you need to melee the enemy, then kill the enemy while they are knocked back by the punch. If you are meleeing after a charge, the melee does not count if the enemy is still in the stagger state from the charge. So charge (enemy is staggered) > melee (enemy is coming out of the stagger state > shoot while enemy no longer staggered, does not count towards the achievement. Easiest way to get the achievement is with a Soldier on the lower difficulties. Take a shotgun (like the Katana or Eviscerator), then activate Adrenaline Rush > run in > melee > shoot and kill. Do that 20 times and get the achievement. |
