So i've put around 100 hours into the game so far and i am currently trapped on the Nexus because there is an invisible gaping hole in the game's programming which causes me to crash to desktop every time i walk towards the Tempest in the Commons section.
Any suggestions?

Try loading a older harder save then exit and reload the game you have. Or just reload a older hard save. And also there are are a couple of auto saves you can load up and use those as well. Also it never hurts to restart what ever gaming platform you are using if you have had it on for awhile.

Oh, man. Uh, lessee. Idk how to help but with the obvious: did you reload? Or go to another area in the Nexus then try hitting the Tempest after a few loading screens to other sections?

Try advancing the priority mission by reverting to older save. I had the same. I did priority mission and avoided the sabotage side quest at the dock for the rest of the game.

*sigh* yup... had to revert back to a previous save yet again losing an hour of progress. What seems to be causing these crashes is opening up the orange and white quest markers while inside the nexus. When i don't highlight the markers and instead simply run to where the quest locations are (blindly) i can do the quests and get back to the Tempest.

I highlight markers on the map constantly, including in the Nexus. Which mission specifically were you highlighting? It might be a trigger specific to that mission that got corrupted? OH! Here is the biggest question: Did you perform a repair? I have three friends that had separate unrelated issues with game stability and repairing fixed those issues for all three of them.

Here is the biggest question: Did you perform a repair? I have three friends that had separate unrelated issues with game stability and repairing fixed those issues for all three of them. It's happened 3 times now and each time it's been a different mission. First time it happened after speaking to the Angaran Diplomat in the Cultural Centre. The other time it happened after I set markers to find Knight's EMP devices. Third time was this time - happened after I set markers to check out Spender's hidden room. Always on the way back to the Tempest as I'm walking across the Common Area it . There is a very specific invisible line in that area where as soon as I walk over it I crash to desktop. You can time it precisely. The line stretches from the maintenance guy in the orange suit with the white headset, all the way over to customs where the Turian lady works.

Okay? So that definitely sounds like a corrupt map file. Try the repair as I mentioned and see if that helps.

Uh . . . sorry to be asking you this since you are frustrated with the crash but . . . how do you get to the Tempest? I can't seem to find it. I have the "go to your ship" directive on the top right corner of the screen but no destination tag or anything on the map. A little help would be greatly appreciated.

Go straight until you hit a low glass barrier. To your right should be a door. Go through and then the door on your left takes you to the Tempest.

It also drove me crazy the first time trying to get back on the ship. They didn't make it obvious where to go.
