Here's some more insight into the subject - "what/when/where did it all go wrong". There are more to come in the future, I guess? Also, why not outsorcing the game to Poland in the first place? Eh?!

Outsourcing the game to Poland would have had the same result. The game is in a complete technical mess. If this thing was on steam it would have been pulled down by now probably. Bioware decided to put low priority on animations, because there was no other way the game would be ready for launch. Which is entirely their fault, they had 5 years to do it. The way outsourcing works is that in order for it to be good, it needs to be done well on both sides. As was with Batman Arkham Knight, the problem wasn't that it was outsourced, the problem was with what the main development studio provided. I think almost everyone in the forums realizes it, including the OP, and it was already mentioned in the video. Well, I found it and wanted to share with others and the point is I actually was really interested in the technical issues thay must have dealt with while making the game, for instance, I had no clue they used cyber scan and how it works. Will need to ready of it a bit more, but the point of the video was to give a wider picture of the ME:A creation in general. Agree with all You wrote, except the Arkham thingy, cuz never played it.

Its more complicated than that, bioware montreal was working on mass effect 3 dlc until 28 february 2013, they did not start working on mass effect andromeda immediatly after mass effect 3. They more had 4 years to do it instead of 5, the first year is maybe brainstorming but there was not a full team of developper on that for 5 years. Add to that the fact that they had to build the game from scratch on the frostbite engine instead of relying on the foundation of mass effect 3, which means lot of time was consumed on just recreating the engine. Finally from what I have seen, bioware montreal is a much smaller team than mass effect edmonton. Less employees working on the game means less work put into the game, bioware montreal from what I could find is only 55 employees : www.cbc.ca/news/technology/bioware-doubling-montreal-employees-1.924714while the company at large including everything is a 1000 worker. Less employees means more time is needed to make everything, and considering how huge andromeda is 4 years and the limited amount of employees is not that impressive.

Blaming Romania for Andromeda's issues is like blaming a skate manufacturer for a goaltending being crap in ice hockey. Far too many issues in between that lent to this absolutely tire fire of a release.

Valve is just now talking about doing more quality control for what games appear on the store. There are countless literally broken games there. 90 hours of game time for me and it's far from Arkham Knight and I've only had a few crashes during mp. Dishonored 2 launched in much worst state than ME:A, same goes for XCOM 2, just about every Bethesda ever, Nier:Automata is a worse port than ME:A as well. Lmao.
