More or less what I expected to see, which is good. The skipping planet transitions is a welcome surprise. Now I won't need to read my phone while I wait. I wonder what "improvements to male romance options for Scott Ryder" means exactly. Me too. I wonder if some of the bit-part, flirty little friendships you have now can be developed into something further post-patch? Like Keri or Avela? Maybe they'll make Suvi or Dr. Lexi an option!? (Doubt it). But those are the 2 i went after right away and got shot down My guess is the romance improvements may be something along the lines, "not all male/male romance scenes are fade to black almost immediately" - I know they got some flack for that. Beyond that possibility, dunno. I imagine they're more likely to refine things in existing romances rather than add new options.

Yeah, pretty much what i expected. Allowing you to skip ahead when travelling between planets in the galaxy map is a huge one for me. Completely agree. I even timed it a few times... from the point you choose to leave a planet to the point you get to one in a different system (i.e. EOS to Nexus) takes more than two minutes on average. About 10 seconds of that is black loading screens. Very glad to hear about this. I didn't get any extra black losing screens, but even on my SSD drive, the planet transitions easily took 20-30 seconds at fastest. It was neat the first few times, but I'm very thankful I'll be able to skip them soon.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but one other issue I've noticed is that you can't deconstruct any gear Ryder currently has equipped. So, if you want to deconstruct N7 armor to retrieve the augmentations for a new set, you have to completely equip a different set of gear. Tried for at least 15 minutes last night to find a workaround and didn't have any luck, so I decided to craft some level one remnant gear that I'm going to lug around just in case.

It was the only way I could pass the time without going crazy at how long the travel was taking in the background. I liked this feature in the trilogy, but this was just patience-crushing.

Ha, I can understand that desire to romance the cute redhead and Natalie Dormer. Looking over the patch notes, "improved logic, timing, and continuity for relationships and story arcs" will mean fixing what's already there. Maybe Lexi will become a romance through the sequel or DLC. Any change to Suvi seems doubtful. Well, Lexi is into Drack... and better leave Suvi alone, or we'll get another hashtag-hissy-fit. A shame really. Suvi is the only character i would consider to romance as Scott. Dat accent!

It's a very cool feature but it's monotonous over time, particularly if you forgot to do something in one place and had to go back. I know for me personally, the biggest grievance I had was the little animation every time you approached a planet, like a quick zoom-in on the planet before it would zoom back out and you could interact with it. Felt completely unnecessary.

Wasn't it a little bit different in the trilogy? It's been so long (I knew should've replayed them before Andromeda came out!) What I remember is hitting a relay, watching a quick cut scene and then ending up in the system you wanted. I also don't recall the planet hopping function. I think you could just zoom in and zoom out on the planets in each system. It made scoping out individual planets much quicker.

Lexi is a no-go, unless Natalie Dormer returns to record lines (I believe shes already filming) Suvi meanwhile, already has a ton of the relationship lines already recorded, just for Sara. Interesting to see. I'm hoping the "logic, timing, and continuity" means they aren't throwing a vomitful of quests your way related to your crew and story. At times it was overwhelming.

I know it was pretty fast to move between each planet, but I think the actual scanning was a slightly bigger pain back then. I don't recall whether it had the cursor pointing to the anomalies like the current one does. With the current system, there's no need to scan the whole planet. It's straight and to the point whether there is something to look for or not.

Good to see their listening to feedback on game fixes. Maybe some things aren't as important as others on that list but it's a start and their still going to improve the game.

Glad to see Bioware listening to feedback, especially in regards to the LGBT stuff. Right? If we only had know how effective hashtag whining was back when ME3's ending was an issue... oh, wait, no special interest group... never mind. ...don't worry, I'll only post one passive aggressive jab per thread somebody HAS to mention this "issue".

Glad to see Bioware listening to feedback, especially in regards to the LGBT stuff. yeah right, so while lgbt crowd gets all the good stuff like Suvi, straight male Scott is stuck with a cadre of freaks, whether by looks, vo or character. I think BW should have really shown how progressive they are and sent an all LGTB expedition to Andromeda instead. I am sure a lot of ppl would be happy.

I wonder if improve means adding new options or just making the existing options better. The latter would be the more traditional usage of the word "improve." Hopefully this means buttfucking so that the special interest groups can get triggered again over content they'll presumably never see.

You know, some people play games more than a few days. yeah, I'm one of them, I just don't think BioWare' history of post-launch support supports such a robust agenda I don't follow this. Bio games with long DLC cycles have had long patch cycles too, going all the way back to NWN.

Bio games with long DLC cycles have had long patch cycles too, going all the way back to NWN. My experience is that BioWare will support a game for about a year before stopping all support, but normally by that time the majority of people who have bought the game have moved on to other things.
