Glad to see Bioware listening to feedback, especially in regards to the LGBT stuff. yeah right, so while lgbt crowd gets all the good stuff like Suvi, straight male Scott is stuck with a cadre of freaks, whether by looks, vo or character. I think BW should have really shown how progressive they are and sent an all LGTB expedition to Andromeda instead. I am sure a lot of ppl would be happy. The fact that you didn't even suggest that the Tempest's thruster trail leave a rainbow only adds to the pile of disappointments.

Glad to see Bioware listening to feedback, especially in regards to the LGBT stuff. Right? If we only had know how effective hashtag whining was back when ME3's ending was an issue... oh, wait, no special interest group... never mind. ...don't worry, I'll only post one passive aggressive jab per thread somebody HAS to mention this "issue". Yes, there was no such thing as #RetakeMassEffect... oh, wait.

Ha, I can understand that desire to romance the cute redhead and Natalie Dormer. Looking over the patch notes, "improved logic, timing, and continuity for relationships and story arcs" will mean fixing what's already there. Maybe Lexi will become a romance through the sequel or DLC. Any change to Suvi seems doubtful. Well, Lexi is into Drack... and better leave Suvi alone, or we'll get another hashtag-hissy-fit. Hur-hur, hashtag-hissy-fit. Like it.

I don't follow this. Bio games with long DLC cycles have had long patch cycles too, going all the way back to NWN. My experience is that BioWare will support a game for about a year before stopping all support, but normally by that time the majority of people who have bought the game have moved on to other things. If "support" includes ongoing server availability for MP functions, then it probably continues for a lot longer than a year. AFAIK, ME3MP is still available.

So your first patch is going to focus on a dialogue change for the trans characters cringe worthy lines, which exists only in a tertiary fetch quest character, but you aren't going to fix "MY FACE IS TIRED" ...one of the main NPC's in the game.
I don't even know what to say, beyond what the hell is wrong with you people.
Lets see, my car needs some work, I can either get the oil changed, or buy bobble head for my dash. Bobble head it is!

I love that they're increasing the inventory limit, improving m/m romances and making the planetary transitions skipable! I'm also looking forward to (eventual) increased CC variety.
What is up with straight guys whining that they can't have Suvi? They already have more romance options than any other players, and some really good ones, at that. Just be grateful for the options you have - you know?

Adjustments to conversations with Hainly Abrams
Oh, thank the old gods and the new. The game was unplayable thanks to that one minute NPC interaction that I forgot no sooner than I'd engaged in it. I certainly didn't have to look it up online to even know who the hell they were talking about...

By the time all these are fixed I will have probably finished the game and move on (...i have a huge backlog and not much time so... ;( ) so good luck to the team and to everyone who will enjoy a more stable and improved gaming experience .
I will probably replay it in the future along with my Trilogy playthroughs. I just can't start a new playthrough right away.I never do that.

Just be grateful for the options you have - you know? To be fair, just about any romancable character that was gated off to any specific gender or race has always had a lot of complaining from people who wanted their character to romance them. Just happens that the straight guys complain with a certain level of hyperbole and asshole-ishness that highlights it a lot easier.

I personally don't care for Suvi; she has a cute accent, but her personality isn't my type. Maybe that's why I don't get the hype. I would actually prefer Cora. Go figure! But that said, both f/f and m/f players have a good amount of romance options, so the only ones that really need to be shored up are the m/m ones. I mean, they have two choices total - super unbalanced. I'm glad Bioware is going to address it in some form. Save

Just happens that the straight guys complain with a certain level of hyperbole and asshole-ishness that highlights it a lot easier. That's very true. I know I've certainly spent time wishing my characters could romance Tali, Jack, Morrigan, etc. Still, f/f players had super limited options in early DA and ME games, and I always managed to find at least one enjoyable romance. It's hard for me to sympathize with people who have a lot of options but can't seem to find a single one of them satisfactory. I sometimes wonder if DA2 didn't have the right solution where everyone was bi. I think that's unrealistic and maybe kind of problematic, but at least then everyone had the same number and quality of romances, and no one was gated off from going after the character they liked. I dunno. It's a tricky problem. Save

I honestly didn't expect them to fix the transition times between planets (allowing skip) to be honest they put a lot of work into that art and I expected them to hold their ground so this is surprising. I for one won't skip but I know some people want to.
The enhanced gay Scott romance is an interesting addition. I figured they would add one or two in a dlc and leave it at that, but to patch into the existing game, thats interesting. Will they add an additional romance (Jaal?), expand upon the existing, or perhaps add a whole new one (the Turian Pathfinder seems like an obvious and easy one).
I disagree with decreasing the cost of decryption keys. I rather solve the puzzles but I guess some people want it spoon fed to them.
Look forward to additional character creation options.
All in this is what I expected largely from Bioware, I know they tend to be somewhat responsive while acknowledging they can't make everyone happy.

I hope they NEVER make Lexi an romance option. To me Lexi was always like Dr. C in the OT. I liked my conversations with her as a confident and a friend, not as a romantic interest. One of my favorite memories from the OT was sharing the Ice Brandy with her and chatting.

Generally I feel like if the writer intended a character to have certain definitions like if they are gay or maybe only into elves, then that's that...It's their creative choice. That will upset some, delight others and that's how the world works. I've met people that I can't engage in a romance with in real life, and I didn't demand they rethink being with me. However, considering how toxic discussions around romances and PC/NPC orientations can get you may have a point that everyone being bi might be a good option in the end. It does put off certain people who think everyone has to be defined somewhere on the spectrum, but if characters are just player-sexual and discussion of their preferences are never really address I have a harder time seeing people being upset (they'll find a way though)

One of my favorite memories from the OT was sharing the Ice Brandy with her and chatting. I think a lot of people treat the romance characters as superior to the others in terms of quality. I mean it makes sense on certain terms in that you will typically get more content, and share some rather intimate moments, but some of the most rewarding relationships in the OT were non-romanceable or friend-path characters. A lot of those interactions feel much more authentic because they can build on a dynamic that isn't simply "I like you do you like me? Lets make kissy faces together"

It's the fairest option. It treats us all equally, and isn't that what everyone wants, to be treated fairly and equally? It's a little bit of a grey area I think. All things being equal, yes that would seem fair. However, people are people and there is a level of unreal in having all romance characters be BI. I could see it causing problems with people who might feel like it completely erases their orientation...Both sides of people complaining there are no actual hetero/homosexual characters anymore. It's like synthesis...but with genitals.
