I have roughly 50 hours of gameplay in multiplayer so far with little to no connection/crash issues... until yesterday. Literally crash almost every time I log in to multiplayer. And if by some space magic I am able to log in to multiplayer, I crash %100 of the time that I access the store to buy packs. What in the actual fuck.

Anyone else experiencing this and/or found a solution?

Started out good for the first couple days, then a crash now and then, then a crash every other game, then crashing while hosting, until today I crashed twice while just sitting in the lobby. Haven't found a solution (other than not playing.) I've bought a new router, reinstalled the game, playing on ethernet cable instead of wireless, hosting my own lobbies, and playing just with friends and I still crash way too often. Just playing something else now until a patch comes out.

No way. Surely a game that was tested extensively by the developers couldn't crash so often? It must be on your end

Mine crashes to desktop every single time I try to get into multiplayer. CTD's before it's even done loading.

Of course, I've never had a single crash in single player so I can't really pinpoint the problem. Unfortunate, though, because I haven't been able to play a multiplayer game in over a week.

It certainly appears to be account based. I've seen reports on EA's support forum of folks attempting to log onto a friend's PC (or console in some cases) and then duplicating the crash, despite said friend not having experienced it before.

Beyond that, no clue. My troubleshooting list is a mile long with nothing to show for it.

I crash often but I am starting to think that might be because of a memory leak. I almost never crash right when I start.

(I usually crash after wave 4.)

Origin just had an update around the same time. My guessing is pointing towards an Origin issue for the most part. If we can disable the Origin overlay, this may be key.

I'm on console. Do you think the origin update would effect consoles too? The timing seems to line up.

I'm the opposite. I have numerous crashes during the first week and then progressively got somewhat better as time went on. Most of the crashes I've experienced seem to originate from joining in-progress matches. Others is when I play for more then 2 matches which I contribute to a memory leak somehwere in Andromeda's code.

My issue didn't start until the first multiplayer update with the Krogan Gladiator. It was at that point multiplayer began occasionally crashing post-match in the score screen. A day later and I was getting intermittent CTD's upon accessing the store. By last week I was completely unable to get into multiplayer without crashing to desktop.

As of the most recent update I can't even finish loading before the game crashes. I have about thirty dump files all pointing to the same generic exception code:

Exception Code: 0xC0000005
Exception Information: The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access.

Given the nature of this issue and it's increasing severity (faster crashes to desktop) and increasing number of folks experiencing it, I'm assuming it has to do with some sort of memory leak in the code. At least, that's what I'm gathering from scouring the internet.

Battlefield 1 had a similar issue once. Same engine. Was fixed about a month or so later.
