Not really disappointed no, though up until the final mission I was a bit surprised he hadn't woken up yet, I was started to wonder if it was a bug because the devs mentioned the sibling had their own thing going on. I guess staying unconscious is a thing going on too. Overall I was OK with it, though if it was up to me I'd have had them wake up earlier, but unfit for making it to the pathfinder's team (yet).

I just wanted to be able to talk to her more while she was in bed. Like come on by after a mission and have her something new to say.

How they handled the sibling made sense because they needed to be easy to abduct for the end game. However, I am hoping in any post game DLC or future installments that the sibling will be a companion. It would make sense, since they were trained to be on the pathfinder team. It made sense, but it was super disappointing. Let my sibling be like, my second in command. Giving me advice over the comm, and snickering at all my terrible jokes while all my companions debate on tossing one of us out the airlock.

As soon as I saw the "He has access!!" moment in the launch trailer I knew that was going to be the sibling role: To be the damsel in distress character for the final showdown, so I guess I tempered my expectations then, but I definitely got a better impression back in June 2016 when Mac first introduced the concept of having the protagonists be siblings.

I though people would have realised this by now especially after DA2. Sibling was always going to be meaningless plot device at best. Hopefully a DLC allows us to have our sibling come with us would be nice.

Yeah, sibling DLC would be awesome. I'd love to have them on the team, plus once they'd rejigged the squad selection screen there would be a space missing. Perfect to fill with that hanar squad mate I always wanted

Wanted him/her to be a crew member, instead they slept through the entire game. This is more on the fans than the devs. The moment it was teased Ryder had a family, people reacted negatively especially those who prefer blank slate only child type hero. This the siblings being regulated to coma was inevitable. Hopefully if there is a direct sequel or big dlc we'll be able to have them on the squad with a full power set

I had so many theories about the role of my Ryder's brother... I thought he would react badly to some of my choices concerning Andromeda, and maybe leave the nexus, be one of the antagonists, have his own badass team and cross my path many times... yeah, well... imagine how disappointed I was when I realized he was only sleep during 90% of the game...... I'll shut off my brain for the next MEA...

The sibling has the same importance as us in the game...the fleshy bag that houses SAM. So...I guess it fits.

Nope, because I had a feeling off the bat how exactly it would go. I just knew the other Ryder would be took "out the game" somehow, the only thing that surprised me was they didn't get killed off. This has been going on since ME2, the VS was deliberately given a minor role in ME2, and then partly frozen out of ME3 to purely reduce their screen & VO time in order to save money & reduce diverting story headaches.
Unfortunate, but pretty predictable.

I was expecting something like DA2 minus the killing of your father/mother, both were wasted really. With only six companions the family dynamics could add a lot to character arcs.

I just hate that I play a male Ryder because I like my characters to look like me as much as possible but the female Ryders were so much easier to make good looking and young. My Ryder no matter what looks like he's in his late 30s at the least while the Sara I made looks in her 20s, beautiful, young and has perfect hair and cool looking futuristic tats and makeup that all work on her (tats/makeup didn't look like they belonged on my male at all). Just seeing the intro with her made me fall in love but playing a whole game with her would make the ending (which I love) weird because I would see the male Ryder I just played 100 hours with have no skill, all scared, vulnerable and ugh.. no. Too much progress was made
Hope they make siblings companions and have them ask about relationship advice with whoever so I can be annoying and disapprove of everyone

Yeah made sense given the set up. would be nice for them to be more actively involved in a story dlc.

This the siblings being regulated to coma was inevitable. Hopefully if there is a direct sequel or big dlc we'll be able to have them on the squad with a full power set As for me I was rather pissed off by dad dying in the first mission and the sibling being frozen. You don't really have an ingame family, if you don't care. And in the first mission you're absolutely unable to form even the most basic bond. So dad's a robot and brother is frozen. I know next to nothing about them at this point in time or how I related to them. That's only reveiled in the Ryder family secrets quest, but your character should be aware of that right from the start. That's why I feel pretty detached from my player. As for the sibling finally waking up, they should at least have given them some menial task instead of just lying on the stretcher indefinetely.
