I miss most of the heavy melees in general. No idea why they thought it was a good idea to remove them. Hell, I miss light melee combos, like the turian/batarian one where you whack enemies with your weapon like a golf club, or the Fury's fancy biotic martial arts. I guess right now we just have a bunch of medium melees. And I miss species-specific melees. And it wasn't just about being fun or useful or awesome; sometimes non-melee abilities were mapped to melee, like the volus cloak/shield bubble or the Paladin's omnishield. It meant you could melee but also effectively have another power. In ME:A, there's one fewer button, so that kind of thing probably won't happen I also miss the omnishield in general, and whacking people with it And I really miss having both light and heavy sword melees. The sword is fun in SP, but very limited and misses a lot. Bioware design decisions too often confound me.

No on the melee. The recovery time was brutal. I'll take the new jump AoE melee despite the lack of mook lifting force. And less puddles of asari spunk to clean up after the match is over..
The bubble, or something like it will be back in a DLC kit.

To be honest, I rarely used that heavy melee move. lol. Too much delay.
It would be nice to have it back.. but MEAMP melee is already confusing as it is. I still am having extremely hard time controlling 'close melee attack' & 'one step further melee attack'.....

The sword is fun in SP, but very limited and misses a lot. Bioware design decisions too often confound me. Oh damn I forgot about the turian baseball bat style light melee! Yeah damn I really miss having more melee attacks available through the light/heavy melee system. Right now it's a bit boring mashing one button for the same melee attack again and again - no variety or style. Light melee's I miss - Fury, Turian, Shadow, AIU kick sequence, Drell, even the standard three hit chain using a weapon on normal characters Heavy melee's - Human Adept open palm, Shadow, Fury, AIU uppercut, KROGAN BACKHAND , Demolisher, Normal Engineer flaming omnitool backhand... probably more I can't remember. On the note of melee, also I miss the variety in dodges - it was nice to have options to roll, sidestep, aerial cartwheel, etc - but now everything slides. Same with vault over cover - used to be a nice variety of animations, now everything does a (cool but gets repetitive) side roll. It's a shame all these things have been lost when the system could have been expanded for even more variety in combat.

The Justicar was hands down one of my favorite classes in ME3MP. The bubble was unique to the class and amazing but balanced and not OP, just fun. You could go all offense or all defense with it, support or lone wolf. Nigh immortal even on platinum with her 80%+ DR combined with reave. +1 bring her (or equivalent) back.

I miss heavy melee, and over-the-counter grabs in general. Being able to instantly assassinate most of cerb's mooks with CQC from cloak using SI, and QFI was a perfect complement to only running around with a sniper rifle.
Now, it feels like I have to create distance more often than not instead to melee when I'm using sniper builds.

The Asari Justicar was my favorite kit from ME3M. Reave, pull and bubble were amazing, especially with the acolyte. Though I'd have loved to have swapped shockwave for pull.
