Lol. Why would you be punished for someone else cheating? Finish the match especially if you used boosters then leave.

bioware took the stance in ME3 if you dropped into a hacked game you could complete that one due to consumables being used. They took a hard stance if you stuck around and kept benefiting from the cheating.

Yup what Nuc said, it's not your fault if someone else cheats. Laugh it up and find a new match

I would understand fear of God, or fear of being punished by your parents, or fear of going to prison. But this...wondering whether you'll get "punished" as a result of playing a video game?! Really?! And how can someone possibly cheat in a video game? Did they have the answer sheets to some serious exam or something? Oh no wait, it's not a school exam, and it's not a professional contest, which means anything goes. You have to remember it's a game, not a competition or an exam, so the concept of cheating is completely invalid in this context. Besides, infinite hp and invincibility sound like great fun!! You wouldn't catch a kid in a candy story complaining about all of the chocolate, neither should anyone complain about infinite hp, because it's great and so much fun. I wish I would find these hacked lobbies myself, I'd never leave! It would be a dream come true.
Rant over.

They took a hard stance if you stuck around and kept benefiting from the cheating. They also preferred you report your extra cash to them so they could remove it, but they do not have the ability to do this in ME:A.

But it's a risk I'm willing to take, now more than ever because the game is such a huge disappointment. I would have been devastated if I got banned in me3mp, but here? Not so much. They'd be doing me a favour. Take my halberd and take my cyclone and take my ushior away from me! I welcome it. It's possible to exploit all of these lovely "cheats" and remain under the radar, but that means keeping one's gaming activities private and being careful about who you play with. Now that's what I call a sweet deal.

It's only cheating if it's Outlaws/Zero/Gold.
