I was just curious to see if there's a clear favorite personality combination out there. If you've already had multiple Ryder's, then choose your favorite one. And if you pick predominantly one response, go ahead and pick that rather than mix. My Ryder took a handful of emotional responses, so I'll be picking logical for example.

I tend to go with logical & professional for most of my conversations. But I switch to casual/emotional for situations where I feel compassion is appropriate. And once I feel like Scott bonds with someone, then I use mostly casual/emotional as well.

I did a mix of Emotional, Logical, and Professional mostly depending on the situation, with a tiny bit of casual for a few situations.

Mine is Logical/Casual which I ended up liking more and more the farther I got into the game. It makes Ryder seem like a bit of an Indiana Jones type, which I love and makes for a pretty unique RPG experience. Threw out the occasional emotional choice to people Ryder really felt close to or felt sympathy for (mostly remember them going to Gil, Cora, and Avitus).

I did a lot of logical and professional but also did a couple of emotional ones when it came to supporting characters in a tough moment like Jaal. I didn't do much casual ones except when it seemed appropriate to do some humor like "Liam, hold me" hahahaha.

Actually the first thing I did was to turn off the icons. The experience of shaping Ryders personality become more immersive that way. I pretty much used all of them depending on the situation. Mainly relying on the sentences to guide me. Sometimes she would end up saying the wrong thing and use a slightly harsher tone to people in situations where more compassion was needed but it just added more realism to it. I really liked that.

I did the same. I wasn't sure what combo I wanted, so I just said screw it and turned it off. I was surprised I managed to accidently flirt a few times, since most of the lines are very obvious, but a few weren't. Reminded me of the good old ninjamancing days.

I went majority casual, but with mixed it up in specific situations. I was imagining Ryder as being too inexperienced to make good choices, but aware enough to occasionally realize that he needed to be a little more professional or a little more kind.

Going into the game I didn't really know much about the different tone options and also I didn´t want to be restricted by the icons so turning them off nice addition to the dialogue wheel. I really loved that function in the game. I think I flirted with some of the crew members, sometimes intentional and unintentional. Anyway I had a lot of saving files in case of accidental romance. It was really fun, actually. A nice and welcoming change.

Casual Ryder gives me life. Not quite on insane troll snark Hawke's level, but some of the lines had me in stitches.
My other "axis" was logical, and I liked how the game didn't conflate that with cold or unemotional. It just meant Ryder was a science dork who cared about facts first.

Logical/Professional was my approach - used emotional in moments were Ryder felt vulnerable or supportive. I actually think the Logical/Prof dialogue feels a bit more mature and i was looking for exactly that.

Yep, just as I thought. Emotional/Casual Ryder's just adorable Ryder. In my first playthrough I focused on Casual lines exclusively and I really enjoyed that Ryder. There's occasional times when I didn't pick it. Like when SAM asked my Scott about his romantic entanglement with Reyes, his casual line was saying "It's just for fun" which is not true, so I picked Emotional one instead. When I started 2nd playthrough, I was trying to focus on Professional this time but they're kind of boring. It's not bad per se, but Casual is better for my taste. Professional Ryder's not the one whom I love to play as...

I went with Casual/Logical for the most part, because that's how I myself usually operate. Emotional for those that were closer to Sara, or whenever her family was involved. Used professional only when dealing with Tann and the like.

Logical/Casual. I like, how people react to the casual answer. I like to play an irresponsible/careless asshole. As much as possible, because this inherited position is fun with this viewpoint. My father is a pathfinder, You guys, sure about that I also will be suitable for the job? Okay, I'm in, let's play a Pathfinder! You wanted!

I voted emotional/ casual only because it was my favorite experience of the game, playing with a mix of (mostly) those two tones.
I originally played (femryder) more inclined toward professional dialogue, only occasionally slipping into the emotional. After my male/broryder playthrough using emotional and casual choices, I Almost wish I had done so from the start. I say almost only because I'm glad I hadn't gone with the more comical route my first playthrough. The first time experiencing the ending really solidified for me how special and amazing I felt Andromeda truly was, as a whole; yes, it had/ has technical and even continuity problems, but I absolutely Knew, know, felt, and Feel that this was and Is a Mass Effect game. I'm not sure if I would have felt the same way had I played as a casual/ emotional Ryder right from the start.
But yeah, a lot of male Ryder's casual and emotional responses (to authority figures and the Archon especially) were fairly (or very) amusing. I haven't done a playthrough with a female Ryder making the same tone choices yet though.
And I hope I'm making some kind of sense and this isn't just a random rant to everyone but myself!

I only have one Ryder so far, but she's mostly Casual/Emotional, prone to Logical in some situations. She's almost never Professional, especially with Tann or Addison. It's her way of coping with the role that was placed on her, but she's also a sassy little shit anyway.

Pt1 - situational Scott Pt2 - emotional/casual Sara Pt3 (current) - emotional/casual Scott
I wasn't satisfied with Sara's delivery, prof/logic might be a better option for her since she's smarter. E/C seems to work better with Scott, I like the puckish rogue feel of it.
Ultimately for canon Scott it'll be logic/casual though with a few E exceptions for the LI (Vetra ofc). Canon Sara is still a wip.

I mostly took Casual options, but Emotional when it seemed more appropriate. I didn't want to be a total dick to people I liked, so if it was a harsh situation with somebody I liked, I'd pick the emotional option. The Casual options often still weren't actually rude, but I didn't want to come across flippant in some situations.

Right sided F!Ryder (LG Explorer) first run and Left Sided M!Ryder (loose cannon) second run. Mainly good quest solutions on F!Ryder, mostly erm... eviler solutions on the male. Unless the option is really unappealing. F!Ryder hates Krogans, M!Ryder will hate Voeld.
