That channel has a door, the door needs a key, and the fish dogs ate the key and ran off the map with it because some elementalist krogan scared them with his tech combo.

The devs do pop their head in. I see them sometimes browsing 'invisibly' using my 'secret mod powers'...

I mean, people here could be rude sometimes, but Luke is definitely not BWEAmelia. In fairness, (for those who remember Key-Drop-gate) Amelia made the mistake of standing in the way of a flood. That this is not an 'official' forum can be liberating for mods who are under no obligation here to comment / moderate / or be 'mouthpieces' for EA/BioWare... Short-answer: the big-ticket items do have a 'fair' chance of getting spotted outside of the shitposting threads.

I'd like to thank them for their efforts.. but they took care of about 15% of what was needed.. and left a lot of the biggest issues (power combos being weak, shotgun damage, smart choke, sniper rifle piercing mod, etc.) unchanged. The game needs MUCH MUCH more love, and I think making it more fun should be the priority.. and nothing is more fun to (IMO) the majority of the playerbase than making big boombooms with friends or themselves. Power combo buffs should be #1 on the priority list. That Apex mission yesterday where combo damage was increased 100% and detonation radius was increased 50% was far and away the most fun my friends and I have had in this game since launch. Combos are fun. Make combos more rewarding.. PLEASE!

You've basically got a game with amazing powers but the powers do little to nothing at the highest level. So that leaves people relying on weapons which would be fine if each individual weapon had unique characteristics but most of the weapons are trash for damage even with a power like turbo ramping them up. So basically you have a handful of kits being played, infiltrators and vanguards mostly which a handful of weapons being used. That doesn't have much shelf life as a game.

To Wavebend, DragonRacer: can you contact with LukeBarrett ? I've heard he's in the MEAMP team, he was the perfect DAIMP community manager, and he already has an account here. It would be very nice to have a possibility to speak with at least someone of devs crew right here. Remember that early DAIMP community communication disaster? I suspect that history could be repeated. A few points of clarification here: - I check this site at least once a day during the week so just referencing me will cause me to at least read what you said (I may not necessarily respond) so no need to go through someone else - I'm not on the MEAMP team. I helped out with MEA towards the end just to offer some design support and am already back on . My only contribution to MEAMP is playing it a lot - I'm not a community manager, I just happen to be comfortable speaking to people. I think my current title is Systems Designer...maybe? I do combat and progression stuff typically. That said, if you're trying to report feedback you'll want to put that on AHQ - I spoke with the actual Community Manager and he said they do go through these requests rather promptly. One of the things that you'll have to keep in mind is that everything is prioritized so even if something may seem like it's the end of the world from your perspective it may unfortunately not be as high priority as something else.

He's working at Edmonton on another IP. I've been told support for MEAMP is all done by Bioware Montreal. edit: ninja'd.

Wow, summoning is actually working! Thanks a lot for your response. Well, AHQ is good as a technical feedback tool, but it would be better to lively discuss some MEAMP designers decisions. Personally I rather curious than angry about such decisions because some of them looks really strange.

I think it's safe to say that you need to get a decent forum coder on board. I heard the forum has been live over a year? Yet it misses so many things that make browsing easier. Threads should be marked read/unread, and we shouldn't have to keep scrolling to the bottom of threads we have already read. It should open threads at the last message we read within that thread. There's so many features it is lacking. 😠 Huh, that's already a thing. Click the "new" button on threads and it takes you to your first unread message in it. Sadly that's still bad UI design. Going to the first unread post is what I want to do over 99% of the time (and I suppose that's true for most people), yet the area of the tiny "new" button is way below 1% of the entire clickable area. Clicking almost anywhere else takes me to the beginning of the thread, but... why would I want that?

It would be a thing if I was living in 1995 and sat on a computer. Unfortunately, I moved my cyber life to mobile devices. Take a look at the GTA forums to see how it should be. It's a really easy job to input features that make the forum 109 times better to browse.
