So, according to the patch notes:
Outlaws received a huge buff. The most numerous outlaw unit (dogs) can now sync kill and the most annoying unit (sniper) will now fire more often and is now able to shield-gate or drop most characters in one shot on gold. If two draw a bead on you, pretty common as three or four can be one the field at once, pretty much instant drop. Plus guaranteed Hydra sync kills and buffs to other units as well.
Kett remain overpower and some units were even buffed.
Remnants most annoying unit (Observer) was slightly nerfed and the nullifer's most annoying behavior (shooting through cover) was also slightly nerfed.
So, based on the patch notes, I'm assuming most of the gold farming will be switching over to Remnants, effective pretty much immediately.

Nowhere does it say that the Adhi can sync kill you, what it says is that the Adhi can no longer chain sync attacks, so that's a nerf for them and not a buff. FYI the sync attack is where they grab you and you have to mash a button to escape.

FYI the sync attack is where they grab you and you have to mash a button to escape. The page was down when I checked before, I was going off a summary someone had posted. Checked the page now that it's back up and you're right. They must have misread it. Fixing the OP. In this case, I'd still say this makes the Remnant easier than the outlaws now, but not nearly as much as I originally thought. Kett are a whole step above the others in difficulty still.

Just had 2 zero gold outlaw in a row. Wasn't downed once with lvl 12 asari adept. Full extractions.

The outlaws feel basically unchanged to me. Sharpshooters run around more (but still aren't much of a threat), and I didn't get any endless dog sync chains. And this was even on a host with almost unplayable lag, that aside.

Damn, maybe those changes didn't do as much as they looked to on paper. I'm sick of always doing outlaws and I was hoping I'd be able to fill a gold lobby without having to stealth change it to Remnant (and waiting 10-15 minutes for it to fill, of course).

You can still gel after Hydra synch attack it's just a guaranteed down, big whoop. Who's even getting grabbed by Hydras anyway? I must've seen it happen about 3 times since release.

I've played a couple of Gold Outlaws rounds, I'm not seeing any huuuuuuuuge changes.
Yes, Sharpshooters will fire faster, but there's a nice little sound que so it's not that bad.
I can imagine if you are used to just standing out in the open meleeing things, then you may want to continue your meleeing indoors.

Remnant on gold still seem to be as powerful as they were before. The slight nerf to the nullifier really doesn't affect anything because the nullifier deals the least damage out of all the remnant units and has always been that way. The observers are still extremely powerful and will destroy you in a blink. The nerf to the observers definitely wasn't noticeable at all, at least to me. It hardly takes them even 2 seconds to destroy you with a focussed beam, so a 1 second reduction in their beam attack duration is completely meaningless on gold.
Outlaws on the other hand are still a joke. I just farmed a few games against them and they're just as easy as before if not even easier now, with the apparent buff to nova now being able to completely trivialise the sharpshooters in particular. I also didn't notice any extra threat from the sharpshooters, they're still almost completely useless and their red sights give them away anyway. I do like the added stagger when you're within melee range.
