What character developments do you hope to see expanded in DLC?

I'm really hoping to see a lot more from the other Pathfinders, the were just so lackluster.

Particularly, I'd like to have a slow relationship with Avitus
There's so much opportunity for him with how little there is to his character as of now. I thought for sure he and Ryder would be best buddies in Andromeda since they share so much in common!

I feel like Liam blew it with his god-awful, really fail-esque Loyalty mission. Just... that tried sooo hard to be funny it it just wasn't and I barely understood what we were even doing there.

The story about his family building that car from the 21st century though was a great idea, but overall Liam can suck it IMO.

Cora could use some more though. She has scenes that stick in my mind like most of her Loyalty mission, that you know she cares a lot about her time with her commandos before getting the boot and wants to live up to being in a chain of command; takes pride in it and stuff, and her scene on Eos whether it's romance or not is just poignant and resonates with the context of the story IMO, which is almost a shame because you can feel the potential of the premise in that scene which just isn't there most of the game because BioWare skimped so heavily on the whole colonization/colonialism, you know "going to Andromeda away from the known galaxy" idea in terms of theme within Ryder's arc and the main plot.

There's plenty they can do with Cora. TBF, they can with Liam too... I just find him super annoying, probably because much like Sera half of what he says sounds fucking strange but unlike Sera he's not self-aware or self-ironic with it so it doesn't feel endearing to me.

Avitus Rix deserves a pat on the back and some Male Ryder time so BioWare can fulfill their Diversity-quota.

Drack, I agree again. He's kinda awesome... but like Vetra and others on the squad his introduction did no favors for him and there is a reason several reviews mention him as "boring and I stopped talking to him" because if a character's introduction does not pull you in you really have to be patient with them and even Drack's Loyalty mission was kinda whatever in terms of story (awesome level design though). I like him though, I just feel like there's something completely missing from his character in order to make him feel real. Like I said in my OP, I hope Lexi and him can have more shared scenes together and they should explore the theme of old age in Krogans more. The point when I started to care a little bit about Drack was when he told me of all the close calls he'd had and then his medical concerns with Lexi which reminded me that this guy may just die of old age in this series at some point.

Kandros is fucking awesome. I don't know what it is exactly, he just has a respectable nature about him and I do wanna see him shine more.

Vetra is one I'm concerned about. I was so disappointed in hearing her sex scene was just the standard "fade to black" thing that I didn't wanna do it, but I also thought her story in the game was a little tame. I do like the relationship between her and Sid though and I think it makes her relatable to Ryder because they're also siblings, however, the reason why I'm concerned is that I think her writer Sheryl Chee is simultaneously pretty busy with Dragon Age. Maybe she has already left this project when it comes to DLC which would be strange but I know she refers to Patrick Weekes as "her boss" right now and he's Lead on Dragon Age... so. For reference, most writing for this game finished up a year ago or more so some of them can have moved on. Mac stayed away from ME3's DLC until Citadel DLC too. For Vetra, I just couldn't help but feel like she's overall pretty short-lived, like there isn't much to her. It sucks becuase she's a female turian with a bit of a Garrus flair to her design so you wanna like her, but she's also very generic I feel. I cared for Garrus because he was so eager to do the right thing and ended up being desperate about it, which gave Shepard a mentor-esque role to him and then he got in trouble in ME2 so you really wanted the best for him. There's not really anything at stake with Vetra yet, I feel. Maybe a bit with her sister in the Loyalty mission but I was missing some sort of context I think.

Reyes, way more than anyone else. I really, really want more Reyes. I'd also like to see the pathfinders more, but the fact that they're so interchangeable makes it hard to balance all the options, I think. Mostly, I want more Avitus.

Reyes and the Collective. I wish Sloane had more content as well, I would have liked to get to know her, but can't be helped...

Other than that the other Pathfinders. I wish they had all been squadmates. It would have been like the Avengers.

So:
-The other Pathfinders. Would be great to have them aboard for a DLC in which they are temporary companions, maybe even flings.
-Loved Kandros, would really like more time with him.
-Expand on existing romance arcs. They only got a couple of scenes in Andromeda, and it feels a downgrade from other recent BioWare titles.
-Of all the companions, Vetra felt like the one whose story arc wasn't quite done yet, so maybe her. Same for Suvi.
-Kallo is great, hope he comes back for future content.

Mostly I would love to see more of Reyes and our sibling. If not as squadmates, at least as major players in future story arcs.

It would also be cool to see the Tempest crew have a bigger role - maybe each of them gets a mini-loyalty type mission? Or at least a chance to be involved in sections of a bigger story. I really liked all of them as characters and would love to have the spotlight shine on them a bit more.

And more for our squad too... I feel like Liam only got to start on his path to growth and would like to see that continue. PeeBee on the other hand - her 'growth arc' got tied up a little too neatly and would like to see some additional conflict. I'd love some focus on Vetra and Cora that aren't about her sister and Asari-worship, respectively, because they're both cool characters but fell flat to me because those things were so much of a focus. I'd love to learn more about Drack's past, and see where Jaal will take his new found confidence into the future.

Reyes Vidal ❤and more of collective. Avi too he's interesting. More Kadara I hate Omega but love Kadara it's weird

And have you ever fired a weapon outside of a video game?

I absolutely love every one of these ideas.

I want to see Gil go into his past more, especially the parts that are not about Jill.
