Fed up with all the Outlaw farming lobbies? Want to be properly rewarded for a tougher challenge?
There's an answer: credits and XP rewards on preset enemies and maps could be based on how often those enemies and maps are played.
In short, if map is set to non-random, multiply rewards by (1/5 / (portion of games with preset map set to that map in the last 24 hours)).
If enemy is preset, multiply rewards by (1/3 / (portion of games with preset enemy set to that enemy in the last 24 hours)).
For example, if Sandstorm represents 44% of preset maps and Outlaws represent 83% of preset enemies in the last 24 hours, the total reward multiplier for preset Sandstorm/Outlaw would be:
(0.2 / 0.44) * (0.33 / 0.83) = 0.18 (Yay!)
On the other hand, if Icebreaker represents 12% of preset maps and Kett represent 4% of present enemies, the total reward multiplier would be:
(0.2 / 0.12) * (0.33 / 0.04) = 13.75 (Double yay!)
With a nice, real-time in-game graphs for the current "economic situation" this would lead to much more even distribution of different maps and enemies and put stop to easy map/enemy setup farming.
Now, I might not be entirely serious in suggesting this, but I think a system like this might actually work really well, but there should probably be some kind of scale factor to ensure the multiplier doesn't get out of hand - and possibly upper and lower limits.
Thoughts? Let the flaming begin.

I think it's a clever thought experiment. Dunno if I want it, but it is clever. Have a Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster, my treat...

Or they could bring back the U/U bonuses, but include credits in the buffs instead of just XP. Something minor, like 10%, wouldn't be progression-breaking but it would add a little incentive.

You could, in fact, have both. But yes, there should definitely be an incentive for playing random/random. And random difficulty shouldn't even exist... but strangely it does.

Random difficulty should have a small chance of replacing every active enemy with Berserkers.

Bring back random bonuses like 15% each for map and enemy.

Credits absolutely should be more on uug. XP I believe they want you to be forced to only use XP boosters to get more experience.
