Hey Bioware & Gamers:
So after patching today I booted up to play. First let me say that human eyes do infact look nicer so thanks for that. Now I haven't played much yet and have just been talking to the crew on the Tempest. But I've already noticed two things I wanted to post about. First is the conversation wheel. I now have these [NUM 7], [NUM 1], [6] type of prefixes on my dialogue options that were not there before, but more importantly there is no way to turn them off. A minor issue but i'm finding it a little distracting and annoying. Perhaps add a quick option in the settings to turn that off again?
Second is that while playing in fullscreen, if you alt-tab out of the game when you return to the game you are stuck in a windowed mode. you have to go to settings and manually change it to windowed and accept, then change it back to fullscreen and accept before you can play in fullscreen again. This did not occur before the patch. Maybe something you could look into Bioware? Other than that I'll just say thanks to the team who are working to get these fixes into the game, and I hope that the other promised fixes don't take too long. You folks are making the effort, and I appreciate that.

You folks are making the effort, and I appreciate that. Re-config your keys, but don NOT use the mouse to select the entry to assign a new key. (the entries are at the bottom) Use up/down and X to delete, should be disappear thereafter - else (like in my case) I had to reset the keyconfig and remove the bindings again. ALT+ENTER is the default maximize console key for (force-)toggling certain windowed apps back to fullscreen (and back to windowed mode..). Should be still working even after the patch but haven't tried yet. |

Hey Valky; Thanks so much for the quick response. Both pieces of advice were great and worked like a charm! Lol, I had been looking in the gameplay and video tabs for the chat options, so thanks for that. Also the Alt-Enter works just as you stated it would. I appreciate your help, and now back to saving the day  Happily, Devilkyn |

Makes me wanna give up. I now get notified of emails I don't have when I enter the central Tempest room thing, an architect got stuck, the next patch will allegedly only change balancing and guns for MP, and the game still runs in slowmotion every 20 seconds after you close the Development tab on the PS4 version the older/bigger your save-file is.

For me the patch seems to have broken the movie night scene. At the end Ryder is meant to sit on the couch next to their LI (Jaal in my case),but now Jaal is just hugging empty air.
I went back and checked on my save from my first playthrough and the one for my ng+ and both have the same issue. (Even though before it worked fine.)
My best guess is that they tried to solve that issue where some people had peebee/ cora clip inside their Ryder in that scene and something went wrong, but really that's just me guessing, and maybe this issue is unique to me.

Go to answers.ea and make sure this "bug" hasnt been reported then if it hasnt report it (if it has been reported already, which im sure it has, click "Me Too" and give XP to OP). Thats where the Andromeda devs officially check for "bugs" from players. Also have you tried PC USERS! HAVING TROUBLE LAUNCHING YOUR GAME AFTER THE 1.05 UPDATE? Answers.ea has three potential workarounds: 1) Right click on the game tile in Origin and select 'Update Game' 2) Click 'Origin" and select 'Go Offline' and try launching again 3) Delete the Andromeda .exe files and then right click on the game tile and select 'Repair Game' I know this is a fix for getting the game to start but maybe itll help fix some of the other problems you are experiencing, i cant say for sure as Im on PS4 and dont have these issues. |
