Stats like Keplerian Ratio, Orbital Distance, Day Length, and so forth. Does anyone take any notice of these or just read the description?
I tend to just read the description, I only look at the stats for capital cities or to see how many live there.

I remember reading some of them once or twice, but after so many play throughs, I don't tend to read even the descriptions anymore. I've never found any real relevance to the actual game, particularly since the planets don't have actual weather patterns or day/night cycles that we can experience when landing on them. They are really just pretty meaningless filler numbers, IMO.

In the trilogy I would. Mostly to figure how long a day and year was on populated planets. Just for the fact that I like to imagine what it'd be like, on another planet, where a single day is 75 hours long. Just imagining what that'd be like.

I do with the settled planets or uninhabited planets that you could visit.

I'd look at what the it was like, gravity, atmosphere, day length, orbital period, and think if maybe it could be colonized.

I read everything, on the first PT, because there's a lot of details and sometimes, stories of past events. Some times I imagine what it would be like down on the planet surface. After that, in other PTs, I don't.
