So how was Daiblo IV and is it like the 2nd or 3rd game?
I'd say it has a lot in common with both. The game mechanics and after-game are more like 3 but the story and maps remind me of 2. The maps are BIG, with lots to do everywhere you go. There are 5 main areas (plus the new one coming with the DLC) each with several regions, dungeons, strongholds (which then add side-quests once conquered). The main quest will take you to all the main areas, though just like 3 the story kind of rushes at the end so the final 2 areas aren't as developed. They get left for post game action. Tone-wise it's very dark, just like the previous games. Most quests don't have a happy ending.

I made a post this afternoon but boards.net eat it . Skyrim
Dan the Bard went to Dragonreach to well tell people there about dragons, turns out they also wanted the heavy stone tablet he was carrying and couldn't drop. But now the Jarl wants Dan to fight a dragon and Dan just want to go far away from there. Solitude or Riften that is the question now.
Some pics of Dan the Bard's adventures. Pretty lake after a long dungeon run (Dan didn't not go for a swim, he would have sunk over-encumbered that he was) Moons over Whiterun Afternoon rain (the Community Shaders are pretty good, the wet stuff is a shader from it, I don't even have a texture replacer too, lol).
Starfield
I spend the last two day to deal with an installation issue that ended up being caused by something putting an old version of SFSE into my Starfield install. I even re-installed the latest version and didn't realize I had the old one. But everything is fixed now. And Captain Amelia is now on Kreet punching aliens critters...larger than her.
I might actually restart with a less stupid build. It's kinda annoying to run after the aliens who runs away at low health. Build options are also quite limited with punching things...

Started the day doing the final quest based on clearing the Rebel Outposts and The Sons of Prometheus at "Final Forge". Erend came along and was useful getting in but that was about it. Aloy managed to fully stealth the whole base and Erend actually commented something along the lines of: "Aloy you know you are actually down-right scary" when I took down the last enemy. The boss was no real trouble she got the Ice Bolt Blaster treatment. Pic's Minor Spoilers Erend making a door with his hammer Boss lady On this edition of Frozen Afterwards I took a lot of time exploring where the final fight took place and found a data device that led me to climb the mountain behind it was challenging and Aloy told me a lot that it was cold. But got to the top of the world and found several data devices telling of a guys climb with an injured friend. Again minor spoilers Will do a separate post for the rest.

Fallout 4
Welp this PT had another near death experience in it. I just had barely started out in the game when I it crashed. Worse still I saw a warning that 'the game data had been removed due to corruption'. Now I don't want to essentially have to start over this game given its nature and the nature of the CC so if my save gets corrupted...well again since Veilguard does not have a date and a lot still is unknown about it either Halo, Inquisition, or Andromeda. Of course if they do release the release date short enough away I will have to finish Fallout very soon to get a proper PT of Inquisition in.
Anyways though went to go play some Hockey for a bit but decided to boot up FO 4 again. My save is still there thanks to the PSN/ PSP cloud saves I believe and after today's sessions no crashes, so crisis averted.
Main obejcvtives today...since I got the first rank of Local Leader to do sharing of resources amongst workbenches was curios to once more test out ot eh lmits of what did, and did not, count. And well it seems it has to be a work bench allied with one of your settlements...the one in Diamond City did not give me my junk resources...the one in Tenpines Bluff and the Red Rocket did. It did occur to me, probably because of this, that Local Leader might be an entirely wasted perk for me since I don't plan on doing anything with the Settlement system at all and given those restrictions I am likely to just go running back to Red Rocket all the time...but then you also never know for sure.
Other objective was to get Danse on the team and do the preliminary travel with him. Apparently though his recruitment is actually tied to advancing the plot through Nick Valentine, at least that is the impression I got, would love to be wrong hint hint. But in that spirit I decided to go do the next 'Next Gen update' mission...Crucible. Which led me to a bunch of Forged at Saugus Ironworks, intention is to do that, hopefully go meet the Railroad...which is another really involved quest, and then move on to getting Nick. The fun bit is with this I kind of hit the Jackput. So suspect this is supposed to be another high level quest but I've been holding my own mostly. Some usage of simpacks and other medical supplies and I used up the last of my piggy banks for the fat man I have on one of them...but it was real fun me and Pper and this random caravan guard all combined to assault the perimeter. And its with great chagrin, though I think a bit of a running theme, that FO 4 is really fun as a First Person shooter. I am actually able to get more engaged which normally like TPSs more and especially RPGs but this game series really is balanced. So I am switxhing to First Person in combat and able to have some fun.
What's not so fun is that the tool box apart of the next mission objective is an expert lock. So going to get Cait and hope she can get it otherwise...yeah. Though yes, Jackpot. A lot of these Forged do have good weapons and Flamers and Flamers tend to have a lot of fuel. SO the next time I go to Diamond City or the market in Goodneighbor going to really unload and then hopefully load up. Oh and forgot Hancock is a companion so may go get him to and travel to meet the Railroad.

Then some more Ice escapades and some beach roaming and machine fighting clearing the map. Bloody Clamber Jaws everywhere in this section unmarked. Was night to so lots of Apex machines. Tilly's House The scariest beasty of all the dreaded pelican whose beak can hold as much as his belly can. Required an exploding spear to neutralise of course. And a nice view to end the day.

I might buy it then although I've only ever finished the first Diablo many many years ago when it was released on the original Playstation. As for endings I remember the first Diablo's ending was pretty dark. I might have to replay Diablo 2 now.

Since they canonized the first game hero as a male warrior, I replayed it a couple of times to refresh the story and use the male char. I (re-)bought it on GOG but still haven't played through the Hellfire expansion, nor have I replayed 2 in years. I don't remember how many times I played the original back in the day; I just remember having piles of gold spread out on the ground where the town portal formed since back then gold was kept in inventory and took up space I needed for loot.

So not a lot of time yesterday in HZD FW, so spent a lot of it flying around clearing random markers and opening the map up. Did one quest that I didn't find last time that led to climbing one of the tall towers in Las Vegas which was fun. After battling lots of machines and generally having fun I made the mistake of attempting a Relic Ruin as it was near the last "?" I cleared. I had tried to do it before but could not get past the stupid, "pull the Lever" and get onto the "swinging traffic light". I did this time after three attempts and got to the final part where you have to jump from a tower onto a post (sounds easy right?) then jump and grab a ledge and climb up. So jumped on to the post first time, it's a diagonal jump so M&KB do not make it easy. Then as I am about to attempt the jump to the ledge, remember I said I had been flying to places? Well the damn stupid Sun Wing decided to fly inside the open roofed building and knocks me off. It then kept circling indide the ruin clipping through walls etc. So after several more attempts I shot the damn thing which initially proved impervious to damage. Thirty minutes after getting knocked off the post I tried again and I just could not land the damn jump in over 10 attempts, all of which required me to go from the ground back up via a circuitous climbing route to near the top of a tower. IN RAGE I GAVE UP. Will see where the game lets me pick up tomorrow, if the whole puzzle has reset I'll be back to not doing them this PT. On top of the world - Las Vegas Spoilers Read the text, I loved that quest in the first game Just a simple jump - F#cking Bird!!!!! Need to get from where I am perched to the thin bright orange line below and to the left centre screen.

Lol the small inventory screen has always been a problem at least in both Diablo 1 and 2. I just reinstalled Diablo 2 Resurrected and downloaded a few quality of life mods for it like increasing the size of both the inventory and stash. Stackable gems and runes. No more runes and gems taking up valuable inventory space. I will play as the necromancer which was my favorite class when I played many many years ago. I think I was 18 or maybe 20 or 21 years old when Diablo 2 first was released. I did try to play D2R last year but the lack of quality of life features made me prefer Diablo 3. But today I searched for D2R mods and it led me to nexus and now I think I will enjoy the game better.

IN RAGE I GAVE UP. Can you jump from the Sunwing to where you need to get? No, I did try that and I tried gliding in but instead of sticking to the pole the game ignores the pole and makes you stick to a point on the tower. If it hasn't reset I'll try again as I cannot believe I got so close after doing that stupid traffic light thing!!!!!!

Fallout: London
I will keep this as spoiler free as possible. I escaped the starting area and am now in London. I have joined a faction it seems. Anyway I am amazed by the production. You could tell it was done by professionals. Had my first crash though.

Fallout 4 Could be one of those long posts. Got around to moving on with the rest of 'Crucible' which was... a bit of a grind. Took me a while to figure out how to instal the flame resistant mods onto the chasis. Seems a bit of a convoluted process to me honestly to like craft it, instal it, and then instal it through the inventory? Anyways I got through the fire to get the heavy incerator and never much of a fan of flame throwers so good selling material it made. That and all the flamer ammo. On this note other heavy weapon possibilities would maybe want to use a mini gun but the things are just so heavy. Plus grinding through and continuing to push on my objectives. Got a long barrel, scope, and stock on my .308 rifle. Trying to think of long term objectives and thinking I may have two long guns one silenced and one with a muzzle break for when things go loud...of course if I even get that far. Next mission on my list was All Hallow's Eve for the Next Gen Update...and it was bugged up the wazoo. The Mysterious signal didn't actually play through anything and didn't lead me to the objective. So had to look at the game map and sort of put a cutsom marker...I actually ended up pretty close. Then it still didnt update even though I was at the right place so had to go through a certain door...then the funny part of it told me I 'failed' the objective. But it let me continue on from there and the room was filled with Ghouls and then gas. Seems an AI had decided to run an elaborate Halloween haunted house type event and got a little carried away in it...thus the gas...not entirely sure about the ghouls but there we go. Had to go through and solve a small puzzle which led me to said AI and some loot. Pretty straight forward quest...like most of this stuff. Wrapped up with starting down the Freedom Trail. Didn't get too far down the trail because I always tend to get lost but kind of read through on the Wiki and this gave me an idea to try and look for it via location on the compass rather then by just following the trail per se. It worked after an extent though I ran into a lot of Super Mutants. Ran into an area with a Suicider and a Legendary mutant and just so many baddies. They finally got me with a rocket guy waiting in ambush after dealing with the suicider. So annoyed. Second attempt think the suicider went after Hancock and blew himself up and maybe the lgendary guy with him. Much easier time, but alas that was not the end of the trail, so the mission continues.

Yeah the climbing stuff is bad in places but yea hthat's whyI'm thinking I might jus tstic kt odoing stuff like machin estrik ean darena fightsto buld my XP and equipment up next time I play.

So retried the jump multiple times after redoing some stuff I had already completed as the puzzle had partially reset and failed, failed, failed, and failed again. I am actually wondering if I am not supposed to do it from that location. Anyway, I moved on. :SIGH:

So again, spent a fair few hours, 3+ I think going from place to place on the map still finding and clearing "Unknown" sites. Along the way I noticed something, well I noticed it the day before but thought it a quirk but yesterday it became an actual thing. This is my third PT and a few days ago I ticked over to Ghost Level 120. As I have completed the skill tree in the first PT it awards me Champion tokens instead for levelling up. However, the thing I noticed was that the majority of the machines I come across now are Apex machines. First of all I thought that's weird so many Apex machines during the day, but all day yesterday everywhere I went the Machines at a site are either all Apex or 2 out of 3 are. Let's just say I have been having some ding dong fights against the tougher machines and no more one shotting even the little Burrower machines. I cannot confirm it is due to me hitting Level 120 but I cannot think of any other reason for it to happen. Has anyone else experienced this or are at that Level? So the days proceedings were to hopefully finally open up all the map icons and I think I have done that so moved on to cleaning up some side quests but got bored with them. So back to the main story and fetching Aether. Met with the Chief Flew North to meet Kotallo - note if you look closely you'll see the machines below are all Apex machines. Kotallo is a chatty guy, not. Arrived at The Bulwark and chatted unpleasantly with Kettoteh (SP?) Made a plan to blow up The Bulwark and found a tremor Tusk (Apex of course) and stole a cannon of it's corpse Blew up The Bulwark Did all the side quest that come up subsequently. Used some more appropriate armour for the area

GW2I finally did the (story) strike mission solo to advance the story and then the next mission that followed. Took near 1.5 hours for just two missions. Bleh. But it's done now and the rest is mostly normal story stuff and missions. StarfieldI restarted. Boxing just isn't fun until a mod revamp totally how it works I think. Instead I found a weapon balancing mods (one for ranged and one for melee)...and I died against the first enemies, because started weapon have their damage increase to keep them viable longer. Lets just say, you want to avoid being hit now. And I set healing items to heal more slowly on top. Meet Isabella McTavish. Cyber Runner from Neon turned Dusty (aka lowly miner). Vecterra isn't that bad looking

dazk I just noticed under your username I saw the word Malaka, since I've been playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey that word has become apart of my vocabulary. I am not Greek by the way I am an American.

I am not Greek by the way I am an American. I have several Greek friends but AC Odyssey really brought it to my attention as to how many ways it can be used. I put the word there as I was playing Odyssey but need to change it. There are compilation videos of Kassandra saying it:

I did an all-day gaming session today, because it was way too hot to go outside. I made a rather large chunk in ACT III of Ghost of Tsushima, had a ton of fun on mission types that would normally be "meh" in most other games. Piled up the body count (seriously, in a few spots, when I was finished there was actually a small mound of bodies that I had to navigate around. Poor bastards never even knew I was there) and helped some friends. There were two spots that I kinda got a little emotional (that's the fourth time this game has done that to me, quite unexpectedly. Damn it) and I generally just had a whole lotta fun. Played for the better part of eight hours, taking small breaks for silly things like food, water and stretching. I've played for 72 hours so far (enjoyed every single minute) and I'm still not finished even the main game, let alone the Iki Island expansion. I would not be surprised if this game nets me 100 hours when the credits finally roll.
But I am definitely going to play it again, not sure how I could play it any differently though. Would have to think on that for a minute.
