GW2
I finished Head of the Snake on my Norn Ranger (who is currently running around with a warclaw and a spear) which she started like a year ago, lol. If not two years ago...
And I started the next episode which send me to Draconic Mon, nothing like going inside a volcano!

Black Myth Wukong
So surprise, surprise. The parable animation of the fox and the scholar actually happened and it's a side quest. The fox spirit in the fox scarf asked for Wukong's help for the scholar is now a Buddhist monk at the Thunderclap Monastery. Her intention had been to help the scholar so he could pass the exams but because of his dream, he ended up killing her.
Thus he killed an innocent for she has not done anything to him. Her spirit could not rest hence she asked for vengeance. I think if the player choose not to do this quest, it might probably affect how the ending would go. I chose to do it however.
The areas for chapter three is rather large. The grounds of the monastery is so big that I think I spent more than an hour exploring from east to west. The ability to shift into the shape of the fox is available so I did it after locating the monk. From his words, he was feeling guilty from the act of killing the fox. I think it's why he became a monk instead of continuing his ambition of an excellent scholar. It's this guilt that roused him to attack Wukong.
The monk killed, I returned to the fox scarf. Appeased, the fox scarf vanished.
The end boss for chapter three is Yellowbrow. At one point, Wukong became the Macaque and Yellowbrow egged him to indulge his thirst for blood. I rather suspect players have a choice in this; kill or not kill. I opted not to attack the mass of monks crowding the temple steps and ran down the pathways, pushing through and jumping over the monks than to use the sword to whack when it's impossible to pass.
The one I did kill was a three legged demon chasing after Wukong though I waited for him to clear the mass of the monks first.
Yellowbrow is a tough annoying boss but he fell in the end. I consider his end a stroke of vengeance for *Kang Jin Star or Kang Jin Dragon and the celestial Snake that fell to him.
I know why Kang Jin Star or Kang Jin Dragon became Yellowbrow's follower. The Celestial Court failed her for not a single one went to her aid when she needed it. She was also disillusioned and then misled by Yellowbrow. She could have risen to an immortal or bodhisatva if there was someone there to help her.
*Kang Jin is the dragon that helped Wukong to escape the cymbal trap during the Journey.

Trails of Cold Steel 4. Figure I'm half way through Act 3. Sadly completing all the achivos is not a one run option. But should be able to get all the chests so ended up redoing the final fight for Act 2, since I forgot a chest in an area I'm like 99% sure I won't be able to return to. Once more being able to see the chest count is a big quality of life feature. Since tripping on that one chest would've been infuriating and even more if I had no clue when I missed it.
Another fun mishap was my controller running out of battery during a big chunky cutscene and deciding to part with the final gift of skipping through the rest of it. Joys of joys but thankfully had saved just before hand so not like I had to redo a big fight. Did have to reload again though since butterfingers picked skip all instead of skip scene. Whoops. Third time was the charm.
Otherwise had a grand time. The sidequests were delightfully chunky this time around with some call backs and stuff. It was neat. Dungeons were also delightfully to the point, but the real nonsense is usually kept for the last dungeon so not celebrating yet. But still. Nice.

Jumped back into MEA to see if a break from DAO as I was getting a bit weary of it and the game had started crashing too often. Was on Elaaden and had done nothing so when the first thing I do is activate the Monoliths and The Vault but got a little distracted getting forward stations down to be able to Fast Travel. Scanned some Remnant devices, scanned some crazy scavengers, scanned some food and some rocks. Killed lots of scavenger, Fiends and other assorted wildlife. Found some Medical Supplies, chatted with Dirk Barrett, activated The Monoliths, found the unmarked Vault and retrieved the Remnant Data Box then activated The Vault. So now Cora, Drack and Sara can stop commenting on the heat. Speaking of which I got too bold in one encounter and died due to the heat, first time in a while but Insanity will do that to you. Pic's Sara talking to Annea and looking smart Annea being her usual PITA self. Brank being a two faced scumbag Shuttle surfing, damn thing wouldn't take off "WORM" Destroying "Destroyers"

Black Myth Wukong Chapter four map is more convoluted because it's a huge cavern with ups, middles and lows with the paths not so clear cut. Some times there are braziers clearly indicating it's a safe place to drop but I always end up thinking I miss some other pathways to other places I saw across the chasm. The Spider Sisters and their matriarch have been encountered before in the Journey to the West. Now, it seems, something has befallen them. Making my way through the cavern and encountered the Second Sister. Apparently, she's the one who scooped Wukong out of the web he fell into and has just created a pathway for him. She seems sad and on a mission herself, not sure what it is. Perhaps it's some demon who is imposing his will on the Spider Sisters. May I say the Spider Sisters are beautiful ladies. Though their true forms will send most people for the pitchforks and the rest into hiding.

More MEA, more Elaaden yesterday. Cleared the map avoided stopping to fight any scavenger/outlaws so as not to pick up the RNG quests and also avoided a couple of the Remnant Sites. Headed to New Tuchanka, had a chat with Overlord Morda and Brank and the Shaman plus the Krogan who lost Dr. Okeers research and then did Drack's LM which is always fun. Took PB and haven't taken her there for a while, she has some fun comments to make. The driving on Elaaden chews up a fair bit of time so stopped for the day as still not feeling the best. Pic's Found Isabel, told her to stay and Kent wasn't overly happy but left and went back to The Nexus Got Nora's "Thruster" back and put Axius on "Ice" Cleared The Flop House, man that's still a rush after so many times especially on Insanity, dead outlaws and explosions everywhere. Helped PB get Poc back (returned to Kadara) Drack's LM, let Aroane fall.

Black Myth Wukong So the Celestial Court is an ass. Really, an ass! I got the names of the Spider Sisters wrong. It's actually the Fourth Sister who's been helping Wukong. She saved him a few times. I've reached a couple of locations in which she appeared and was trying to remove a talisman but couldn't. From the words dropped by her and her Sisters, they're locked in the Cavern and cannot leave. The one responsible has to be the Celestial Court. So I was going around removing the Talisman. At the last, a boss fight occurred in which Wukong lose. No surprise because he's not the Great Sage and thus cannot defeat the celestial guardian. In dropped the Celestial Inspector / Crane who stopped the guardian and he told Wukong he has turned the girl into a golden pill in which he'll keep safe. I read that as 'hostage' btw. I figured it's the Fourth Sister. I heard her shout "Run!" just as I ran into the talisman area. So she was clearly trying to tell Wukong to keep away for his safety. It's pretty funny because Wukong doesn't talk and when she does speak to him, it's short, a bit cryptic at times and to the point. Still, there is a relationship because of her actions. She's not one of the original Seven Spiders from the Journey but a child spawn from one of them. I'm a bit grumpy now because even if her original intention is to make use of Wukong to free herself from the confinement, albeit in a round about way because she didn't ask him to do it, she did tell him to run at the last because she knows who's waiting for him. I think the devs created this relationship from one of the stories about Wukong forming a relationship with one of the ladies in the Journey.

Black Myth Wukong Finished chapter four. I missed one of the side quests despite looking into it because I couldn't find the eggs. The most annoying thing is the ambiguous statement / advisory; don't kill the final boss because the SQ will not be completed. There is no exact definition of Final Boss so I take it to mean the last boss of chapter four. Nope! It's the last boss of the special area I was in which is called Purple Clouds. By killing the final boss of Purple Clouds, the NPC vanished so there's no competing his quest. I also found that completing this SQ is a requirement for the secret ending. Bah!! In the chapter four final boss cutscene; I was going; Oh shucks, I don't want any of them to die. Don't let me run into this fight to see them falling. The moment I had control, I was frantically going all out to beat the crap out of the last boss. The animation at the last. Well ... Ahhh, Bajie. Bajie. I doubt the fate of Fourth Sister will be known. It's likely she'll remain in pill form until the Celestial Court decided what to do with her. Well shucks. One of the achievements read as; She will never see the world beyond with him.
This one is referring to Wukong because I saw this popped up after the Celestial Crane said his final line to Wukong.

Gw2I tried a few more classes spear stuff. People kept saying mesmer was very good, but I don't like it. Then I loaded up one of my Reaper with a spear and that's pretty fun, lol. Not really doing any story stuff, just doing events and things on max level maps.

Finished Elaaden, gave Morda the Drive Core, the driving to pad that mission out really does it a dis-service. The fight against the Three Fiends was one of my better performances against them but my Architect performance was only OK. video below. Got lost at one point had forgotten it's landing spots and had to use the damn health boxes way more than usual. Too casual re-cover. Tried two new MODS haven't explored NMM for ages for MEA. One is hair types and the other provides better colour depth. It makes my Sara look less military (which I had been going for) and much younger but I am not sold on it yet. The other negative consequence is for some reason Addison adopts the same hair style. Didn't give Annea the water Warlord Ryder PeeBee Nice Hat PeeBee LM - let Kalinda live

Black Myth Wukong The game has NG+ and it looks like I'll be going for it after finishing the present PT. What's bad is that there is only auto save, no manual save. I also learn I definitely have missed stuff. One of which is to talk to a horse NPC in every chapter. I came across him in chapter one and two and it slipped my mind that I have to keep an eye out for him in chapter three onwards. I'm now in chapter five and he definitely will not be appearing. So I know Wukong will be reacquiring the nimbus cloud at the end of chapter five. Should be interesting.

Star Wars Outlaws
Kay Vess - a Canto Bight native, gunslinger wannabe and a clumsy thief. She is the perfect sidekick for the game's true protagonist - a cute little furball named Nix
Nix can do it all - steal, fetch, open/close doors, operate machine controls, climb, sniff treasure, reveal enemies, cheat at cards, distract large groups, sabotage alarms, fight, etc. What does Kay do? Well, umm...she sneaks around and close by? After all - Nix needs a mule to collect and carry all the stuff. Sometimes Kay's clumsiness gets us in fights, but Nix doesn't mind. He needs belly rubs after all. And someone to blow on his hot food.
We charm the pants off from every criminal Syndicate in the galaxy. They all send us gifts and beg us to do more jobs. Only the Empire doesn't like us. Snobs!
Farmer saving, cargo delivering, spyware planting, bandit raiding, stealing - we do it all! As long as we get paid from the fish heads, the giant slugs, the insect samurai and whatever the Crimson Dawn are.
Rebellion? What Rebellion? We are here to make a buck, not rattle the establishment. We asked once how much the Rebels pay... They shot us and left us to be captured by a mafia boss... You know, never again! At least the Empire shoots you on sight and has large bases to rob blind.
I'd totally do that giant space heist quest. But I got a speeder and a ship to upgrade. See ya, I am off to work for my Syndicate buddies!

Black Myth Wukong Sheesh. I happen to ignore a NPC dragon which I took for a yaoguai at the coastal bay in chapter four and it turn out he's the one who'll form a base for Wukong. A place where all the vendors and work smiths will gather. I did his little SQ and the base came about. There's the metalsmith who can upgrade the weapons and armour. Wow, seriously, I can't believe I would have missed this entirely if I didn't happen to see a glimpse of the base in a clip. The blacksmith is a wolf I think and can be challenged. If he lose, he'll reward Wukong his gigantic sword. There's the fox who makes pills and medicines from his furnace. The drunk monkey who can upgrade Wukong's magic gourd. The overseer dragon (coastal NPC) who collects seeds and the essence of a type of worm to create something for Wukong. I'm not sure what he creates because I found him so late in game and he doesn't have the items ready yet. She would so win a Black Myth Wukong cosplay competition. She and the other actresses playing the Spider Sisters. Most interesting is she's a Uyghur from Xinjiang. I know of another Chinese actress who's also a beauty and well known in the Asian region, Dilraba Dilmurat. She's also a Uyghur.

MEA yesterday went with Avitus Rix to the busted up Turian Ark and found evidence the Turian Pathfinder died. Sara convinced a reluctant Avitus to accept the Pathfinder role. Found the last ZK tracker and headed to Voeld to rescue Dr. Kennedy and her partner and baby, that's always a fun and fast fight. Did that and the did the Angaran Heskaarl trials and did them under the time limit. All were a challenge as I had the "Voeld is Cold" bug, the base info. downloads thus became urgent to kill the enemies or risk leaving the circle. Then to H047c to clear out Krex/Krax and his goons from the domes and to get the Remnant tiller up and running, no dramas with the outlaws and The Tiller was OK although I had the glitch where it stands still for a while. Cora was good for this fight as she keeps the Tiller focused on her. Still have to do Vetra's LM. Pic's Avitus A busted SAM H047c - must have improved my driving no screams View of The Ark from H047c The Tiller bites the dust Cracked 2,000 hours in MEA i.postimg.cc/7LkhXMWq/Screenshot-2024-08-29-135000.jpg

Black Myth Wukong I got back all of Wukong's original armour along with his Jingu Bang. He's not holding the jingu bang in this image, I got it later. The nimbus cloud can only be used in the Mount Huaguo area. There are a few bosses to whack as they are holding parts of the original armour. The nimbus cloud came by itself once sensed Wukong's presence. Whacked this rhino for a piece of the armour. I have finished the game. From what I found out, it's likely the regular ending. For the true ending, I'll have to start a NG+ and go after the SQs / items that move to that conclusion. I have started the NG+ and decided to take a break.

Black Myth Wukong
So I found out what I thought is the regular ending is actually the BAD ending. That gels with what I was thinking as I watched the ending cutscene; why???
Why have that again when Wukong hates it? Having it means he has no will.
For the NG+, Wukong starts out with the armour he has in chapter six which is the original mythical armour and the Jingu Bang. It's unlikely I'll switch it out for anything else.
No nimbus cloud because it's restricted to chapter six but the whopping strikes of the Jingu Bang from the finale remains so this means bosses will be harder.

Yay, now we go over St Trina and the accompanying NPC quest. With this, we add an important ally against the last bosses of the DLC:
