MLB the SHow
Only thing worth noting here, just one game, against the Cardinals, 'me' on the mound and well....first of all 5 runs on 13 hits. Ayber got a home run. Two run single, put on a couple of doubles. Nice base running.
But I held strong on the mound and actually got a complete game shut out...14 Ks. First time I did anything like that. Extended the pitch count a little bit...because I had a no hitter going into the last out of the game. Only thing up to then gave up a walk in the 5th inning after setting the first 12 people down. So 1 hit, 1 walk. Annoying as the hitter in question just poked the ball into rightfield.
Borderlands 3
Contininuing to think that this game has some really good loot going. Seems you can keep weapons relevant a lot longer then in 2. Though there is inevitably a lot of upgrades that need to happen, eventually, and just went I think I have found a good weapon another better one just pops up.
The Atlas and Dahl weapons are so far being my favorite Corporations to get their weapons from. The Atlas AR has really grown on me. Plus this game really seems to be having the best shot guns in gaming that I have seen. Just confirmed it because don't know how but the current shotgun just eats through stuff at close range and is quite a boss killer at times even. Its fully auto and for some reason does not always seem to use up ammo and what not when shooting so it just can go on and on. The Sniper Rifle feels like a genuine sniper rifle because it just does a LOT of bonus damage to a target with near full health. And it confirms it. Bit difficult if it does not kill people outright but can also be used to stay at distance. Only weakness I had was in the rocket launcher department...but then I found another sniper rifle with an RPG...and then I found another rocket launcher from Atlas with a tracking laser. That does 1500K damage, early results there are promising. Did 'have to' replace my Atlas at the end. A Dahl with multi scope capaibility like they do, but it freezes targets and it did like over two times as much damage and had much higher accuracy and handling. So good weapon. Still need a legendary AR, hoping to get an Atlas.
Story front continued to run through and ran into Tina. Whom we discovered was actually voiced by someone who is becoming one of my favorite Voice actresses with all the roles she gets, Ashley Burch. And the job with Tina impresses me because she does not sound like any of her other roles, at least to me, though maybe I hear a little bit of Qwydiyon. But regardless she had us go after and 'assemble' a 'pizza' that is a bomb to break Hammerlock out of COV custody. Her introduction scene was also quite fire...hmm.
No better way to tell it then to show it.
Anyways from there fun little set piece we had somehow me and the wife got seperated from one another each with our own big firefights to deal with. Since I couldn't see hers mine was at the end of this long hallway where the objective was, jsut endless waves of baddies, me and my clones and drone and shotgun with just there to hold the line though firing a constant barrage of death. It was cool.
