Ahhhh..i'm years late with this one, but i finally picked up the "Inside/Limbo" combo for the ps4....i have always wanted to play these games...i finished Inside over the weekend and i was pleasantly surprised with the game....it had a very "Akira" vibe towards the end there and i love that the ending is open to interpretation...the whole secret gov't experimenting on humans in terms of mind control was done impressively well and level design was satisfying and entertaining. Probably going to try Limbo at some point in the future, but Inside was a very weird and obscure experience and i loved every minute of it....

In the Mojave: After stocking up on bullets off to do another DLC. Start it at least. This time it was Old World Blues. And then what followed was one of the weirdest sequence of events and probably the longest conversation I ever had in an RPG ever. Probably like 30 of the 40 minutes I spent last night was talking with the robots...who lobotomized Alex and also gave her a whole bunch of things to do...and insulted her. So now I have to get...at least my brain back. My organs hurt just thinking about it. And I have to deal with the Morbius or something. But I'm not complaining, it was funny as hell and so far no crashes.

Installed Thronebreaker (I had bought it a while ago when it was on sale). Not sure if I will try it after W2 or wait until I'm done with W3 too.

Finally able to take a deep dive into Code:Vein.
After the whole Sekiro "easy-mode" kerfuffle I'm suprised C:V doesn't get more credit for offering a disableable "easy-mode" from the get go, while also bringing new ideas and mechanics to the souls genre, like a focus-bar for damage taken and perfect dodges as a ressource in battle.
Really digging it.

So Mojave:
I was really digging Old Town Blues. Its empty as hell but there is so much engaging humor and little puns... and finally an acknowledgement that my character is indeed a woman.
And then it crashed. Strike 1.
Madden: regretfully I had an itch. This itch kept me up far later then I should have given the circumstances. But I did indeed scratch it.
Played a 'random team' which ended up being the Lions. Despite the score it was a bit of a rough one for me. Got off to a fast 14-0 lead but they would keep on rallying and keep on coming back to make it close. It ended up being 48-31, but at one point it was 41-31...and anything closer then fourteen points is pretty 'close' for me. I actually had to punt 3 times. And overall...despite being 4-5 on third down at one point. I finished 4-8. Which is abysmal. But on the flip side my redzone scoring went 6-6...which is pretty huge by itself as well, with five touchdowns. The Lions actually had more total yards then I did and more yards per play which was...amazing in its own way.
A lot of nickel and diming though throughout the air. Brady threw the ball a lot but only ended up with 333 yards, but three touchdowns My backs went wild, White finished with eight catches and a touchdown, Burkhead had a touchdown reception and Michel added three catches of his own...to go along with his 22 carries for over 120 yards and 3 TDs. Actually now that I think about it the big play was there when I needed it late...and come to think of it they actually seemed to crack down on my backs (and Edelman) in the recieving game which limited my short options but Brady hit a lot of big plays in the fourth as they were beginning to tighten it up again.

Dropped back into ACOD but I didn't see the specials whatever. For the past few PTs, every time I see Elpenor's brother, he's always dressed in blue and a bit fair. Now he's dark and he dressed in red. Whatever happened. One thing I like most about ACOD is that NPC conversations take place naturally when they're initiated. For example, just as I approached the brother, a guard rode by, forcing the NPC to move up the steps. When I start the dialogue, Kass was below the steps. She looked up at him as they talked and he didn't speak and look at air, he looked down at her. For most other games, both would probably be forced onto level ground or if not, look blankly into the space where the other person would be.

Well, in Borderlands 3 there's a Dahl SMG, that's become my new fav SMG, a legendary Hawkins. So my Zane character has just about everything he needs for another run.
In Alpha Protocol, I managed to get Madison's secret fact known, and was able to get Parker to weaken Marburg. In the end, I was able to beat him, Westridge, and Leland and take over Halbech; guiding the world to a safer future.

So the Mojave:
Got a bit of a late start so didn't get too much done played around getting the quest done for the sink, crawling around through fields of robo scorpions and mister handies. And then I got ganked by more spore victims, even though they were only supposed to be that one vault with them. *sigh*
I am also deathly afraid right now that I'm going to run out of ammo! Wave after wave of some rather tough enemies are out there and the 'sink' doesen't have a lot of actual ammo. There is a work bench there but the only thing I can seemingly craft is energy cells! Which the enemies are dropping a lot of those so...we'll see.

Well - Today I bought and installed a kind of oldie. It's "Zwei: The Ilvard Insurrection". I have only played the start of the game, but it looks very interesting to me. Yep - It's very Old School/dated, but I had fun with it so far. I was playing "Trails from Zero" (and finally got my hands on the PC version of "Trails to Azure", so I can apply the English patch), but seeing that guys from Geofront have completed their translation of of Zero, I decided to wait until they release their (very) improved English patch for that game.
Well no biggie, because I finally can go on with another rather dated but still enjoyable title: Venetica (GOG version). Not the best voice acting and rather clumsy game-play, but still good enough to have fun with the game.

Somehow a modder team composed of 40 people or so gets an alien world far more believable an interesting than what Bio did in recent years... Giving a go (about to finish it actually) to the Black Mesa Xen beta

After playing so much Greedfall and AC Odyssey, I got the itch to go back to DA2. I spent more hours than I'd like to admit applying mods (there are even more that I was just impatient to bother with, but maybe next week) and tweaking/restarting the game until I got it to work like I wanted. The Nvidia drivers needed some setting up too. And damn, that game brings back feelz... The music, the voices, everything. It can be as lacking as it wants, but I will keep replaying it. I am trying to do things differently (again), but chances are I will end up with Isabela again and Friends with everyone. But I might just cheat to set their flags at Rivals, ha

I too thought I'd do something different but yet again ended up being ensorcelled by Isabellla!!!!! If you find a mod that gives you all the companions best armour straight up, please let me know. I sabitaged mysely by forgetting to check in regulalrly with the merchants and didn't end up with Fenris or Merrill's ending armour. I am sorely tempted to TRY and play DAO again, my last attempt I had numerous issues with Mods and some weird bug that kept giving me negative gold so I gave up and jumped straight to DA2!!!!

Witcher 2
Despite the maze-like nature of Vergen, I like it better than Henselt's camp, and not just because nobody is screaming "Odriiiiiin!!" non-stop. It just feels more tied to the story, like I'm learning more about Letho and who he was working with/for than I did on the other path. I have my own theory on who poisoned Saskia, and why, so we'll see if I turn out to be correct.
I made the mistake of asking Philippa about Triss, which moved that part of the main story too fast and locked me out of some side quests, so I reloaded to before asking that question. I just finished clearing out the quarry and killed the harpy queen, but now I have to go back because apparently the regular harpy contract requires me to destroy nests (somehow) not just harpies. Sigh.
Got some feathers for Elthon....well, more than some actually.

2 more games of Madden to go along with my Breakpoint adventures which I chronicled...elsewhere. Anyways first one against the Red Skins. Brady pretty much went off, had like over 400 yards and threw the ball... alot. 4 touchdowns 1 INT. Probably would've been a perfect game had it not been for the INT. Was spreading the ball out well. And I won...42-10? I think? Second game was against the Bills and that one was a bit of a shootout at least for awhile. They made it interesting in the fourth getting two TDs but in the end I had like 44 points...or more...of my own. Michel was just blasting holes in them all day and Brady had 5 TDs and 2 INTs. It was a bit of a good moment for me that in both days one each of my Wide Recievers, Halfbacks, and Tight Ends led my team in catches for each of the two games. Edelman went off with 9 catches for over 100 yards on 11 targets in the first game, Ryder had 4 TD receptions.

Well, in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, I was revisiting Prague, and following the trail of where Adam Jensen was missing a few months of his life.
David Sarif discovered that the scientist involved was in Prague that very night, so I snuck into his apartment to uncover clues, only to find that he had been killed.
After searching the body and revealing a hidden safe with critical documents, I proceeded to throw the fridge out a window.
Then I sold all the beer I was carrying to an ammo vendor. He told me to get out.
All important objectives in my mission to stop the Illuminati.
Because I'm a professional. *deploys retractable sunglasses, at night*
