I buyed some games on Steam in a sale. But so far, I'm not impressed. The Darkest Dungeon crashes during the loading screen for 'the old road' (the tutorial), Layers of Fear didn't start yesterday. I have also buyed The Blackwell Legacy (since I liked Unavowed so much and this is set in the same universe from the same studio) and Sunless Sea. But from a short glance I think, I need a bit of time to work myself into Sunless Sea and I really would love to play Darkest Dungeon and Layers of Fear, so I need to get them running. I was looking through my library and thought I'll recommend two games (adventure / click and point); Chains of Santinav and Memoria if you're keen on story and characters. Memoria is a sort of sequel to Chains of Santinav. There are some decisions to make and can affect the ending. Thanks, I will look them up. Sadly, I don't have much time to play at the moment, so all new games will have to wait

So Madden:
Played two games in my franchise, getting to the end of the the second season...no wait it was three.
I think the first game it was still a bit of an air raid with Michel still out and Brady was just firing bombs all over the place. Like 400+ yards and 7 TDs.
Second game Michel returned and just went pretty balanced with a slight emphasis on the run. Brady still finished with 3, maybe 4 TDs and around 300 yards. Michel had 30 carries and 181 yards with 2 catches and 24 yards.
Third game couldn't get anything going on the ground and it was the Jets and it was annoying so for reasons had a bit of a revenge game. Like 588 yards, 9 TDs, 1 int and beat em like 66-17.

Played some more Blood Monney. A new tactic I've started using is to use explosives for diversionary purposes. ^Tho I haven't been able to pull something like that off. LOL.

I really missed a gem earlier in the year with 'Days Gone'. The reviews at launch were a bit of a shrug, yet I've found it's an engaging open world with plenty to do and an interesting core story.

Progress! in Blood & Wine
Spent lots of time wandering around Beauclair looking for gwent players to win Skellige cards from. With those and the ones at the tourney, I think I'm up to 9 or 10 collected so far.
At the tourney grounds I decided to help Guillaume with his lady trouble (and I kinda do want to find out what's up with Vivienne this time around) so I'm planning on doing the tourney events this time. Too bad I suck very badly at everything. Well, I did ok on the targets but the horse race was a joke since I swung right through the dummies most of the time and had trouble controlling Roach and aiming the crossbow at the same time. See, this is where it's not a fair test at all because in real life I'd control the horse with my knees which would leave both hands free for weapons. In game mode, I need hands for horse control and weapons at the same time. Mini-rant over.....moving on....
Geralt met with Regis at his hideout at the cemetery ("how cliché") and the two of them came up with a plan to do....something....which involves Geralt hunting a spotted wight and Regis doing some research. Enjoyed their reminiscing a bit more since I'm now familiar with Regis from the books.
I headed to Corvo Bianco for the first time as the owner but I goofed and went there at night, which isn't a great time for a tour, lemme tell you. I reloaded to meditate until dawn so I could actually see all the things Barnabas-Basil aka B.B. was telling me about. Such as the awesome view.....
Decided on initial house renovations for a meager 5K gold. I just spent that much again upgrading armor.
Found something interesting at the Ducal Camerlengo's office:
And later I read these two versions of the Ducal Chronicles, the First Edition and then the Second Edition with some minor edits.
I activated all the scavenger hunt quests and got Yennefer's letter so next I'm going to go dig up Dr. Moreau and see what he found out about witcher mutations.
Two side quests I absolutely am not doing this time: posing for the portrait, and the bank - too damn annoying.

ACOD I think either the devs messed up the game with their latest patch or there're bad sectors in the ssd the game is stored because the game keeps crashing after an hour or so. I did the other lost tales with no crashing though. Maybe this latest is buggy. And uh, chickaros...really. I was expecting Ikaros to do something. Now I've Bararbas and Sokrates to do. Not going to do the Lalalia or something like that. I don't have Herodotus so I've probably done before I did Atlantis. Edit. Finished Sokrates and Barabas's quest. I've three blue quests left. Two are the special bounties and the sisters of lalaia. Leaving this PT as it is. There's nothing left. Going to take a break from ACOD and finish up one of the other games I left hanging. Maybe Stardew Valley or I could just fire up another fav rpg.

Finished the regular season in year 2 of my franchise.
Perhaps coincedentally enough I was finishing the season against the KC Chiefs and fortunatley not injuries. And also pretty balanced over all...though I only had one rushing TD (with White) and Brady through like...probably five or six?
Edelman finished with 83 catches leading the way and White had 70 despite missing the first four games of the season. Michel finished with 14 rushing touchdowns and about 1400 yards. Edelman had 1500 ish yards.

YES. FINALLY. I WIN. So yeah, won Ogita in disco dancing today after three days of just pure misery. JK I love the song I was stuck on, and that little shimmy they do at the start gives me life. Which is then torn out of me and stomped on like a disgraced teddy bear of a manic pixie girl. Or something. Anyways, I think the fecker just decided to show me mercy, since he pulled of a record low score for him: 6028, whereas he's been mostly between 6900-8900. And it was barely a victory for me since I only scored 6328, which isn't even enough for the Disco King rank. So I was damn well grateful and told him he was a fantastic dancer. If the option was there I would have given him a hug as well. So yes, much joy very happy. Long post is long so rest in spoilers. Did also find a fun way to grind for scores for three other songs, since you can take the telephone girls on a date in the disco tech and they don't berate you even if you fumble around and fail miserably. So you might get booed off the stage, but they'll just smile and say we rocked anyways. Which is nice. Anyways, have been playing Yakuza 0 a lot for the past few days. Mostly just side questing. Got all the salt water fishes with Kiryu and have sent a bunch of special bait to Majima so he can finally nab that spooky Koi. Just your regular great white from the pier Also lot of disco dancing. And some bowling. Still haven't mastered the Strikes game, but am like 8/10 th towards my goal so. Finished the pocket racer sidequest, including the extra plot I skipped the last time. Got all the dates from the telephone club and not really proud at how much better I've gotten at the mini game. But still, a little pride. Found the two managers I was missing from the roaster first time around. Did look them up and they ended up being things I probably wouldn't have stumbled on on my own since I'd already finished the booze at the bar one was at and was planning to watch the dirty vids with Majima. Just all in a row. Not letting Kiryu get in on any of them. So that would have been a loss. Mustered up the courage to fight Mr.Shakedown and kicked his butt. Then me the second one and he decimated my butt and took all my money :'C so now I'm back to being scared at him. Finished the five billionaires quest. Managed to score the date in the telephone club challenge and found it a victory despite Kiryu being very disappointed. Also won the karaoke challenge, but lost all the others. Heh. Combat went really good, except with the Media King, who along with Mr Shakedown are the only fights I've lost so far this run. And it was pretty brutal too. But won him on the second round with extreme aggression. Smashed his face in with a ballbuster and learned managed to pull off two new heat moves. So nice. Bonus money cat was easy on the other hand, since he still made the mistake of fighting in a room with a broken marble table. That was fun. And with these obstacles gone I think I'll hand the ball over to Majima. Who will also ignore the main plot in search of cash money and disco dancing.

Trying to get into From the depths again. Designed some cannons over the past week. They were too expensive for campaign start. So I designed cheaper ones. Started campaign with high difficulty to get more XP. Set up lil outpost. Happy as puppy. Declared war on the pirates - there they come, huzzah for my battery.... which didnt fire. Forgot ammo stockpile. Forgot shell designer. Forgot ammo intakes to link to shell designer. Got wrecked.

And got Disco King in all the other songs too + all the difficulties in Yakuza 0. Very, very happy about that. Also very, very hydrated after that, because the flashing lights made me very aware how thirsty I was, so double win. Did also win the Disco Queen in Sotenbori, Ms Isobe and damn it was a far less disheartening experience than with Ogita. Both because the scores were always pretty close, as in just 1000 points or so in difference, not 5000 points. Also got the beat down WAY sooner, so it just took like 5-6 tries rather than 50+ So much relief, very happy. Otherwise just got past the opening plot of Majima's chapter until the Cabaret Club business opened up and did a few rounds with it. So guessing that will be the next few sessions. Which means I'll get the tune stuck in my head again. And I can't wait. But yes, had loads of fun.

Found a quest in B&W that I hadn't seen before, called "Extreme Cosplay." Started out kinda creepy, reminding me a bit of Chataeu d'Onterre in DAI. Figured out what's the what and solved the mystery, but find myself in a bitch of a fight with a horde of de-stoned elves, 2 of whom shoot ridiculously OP fire streams that completely destroy me before I can dodge or counterattack.
So, I looked up some tips on fighting and surviving them, number 1 being run away where they can't reach you, then take them out slowly. Second, use Northern Wind bombs, which I am just freshly out of. Third, git gud. Thanks, internet. Yur swell.
Probably didn't help I was dog tired last night while playing so I think I'll have to leave them until tomorrow when I've a bit more time and hopefully will be less tired.
In the meantime, I see Greedfall is finally available on GOG and it's 25% off so I think I'm finally gonna get it.

Well, if I can't beat them when I'm not tired I will reduce the difficulty back to easy mode. If that doesn't work, I'll reload to before the autosave and meditate so I have some ice bombs to cool them off with.

The first time I did that quest I was like WTF and died!!!!!! Second attempt, I did the hold back and take it slow approach and was able to get through it. IIRC Axii was useful in sitting them on their ass.

Doing a Soldier run of ME3, my preferred build uses Concussive Shot with the Amplify upgrade in tandem with the Ammo powers; ironically it means I never fire the gun.
Apparently, the game agreed with me, and the weapon models stopped being rendered.
So Shepard saved the Citadel with finger-guns.
"Who needs Biotics or Tech when you have these guns!" **kisses biceps**
(Also, with Cryo Ammo, using the above build turns every conflict into a lethal snowball fight.)
"Merry Christmas you Cerberus bastards!" The Illusive Man is getting coal this year for sure.

I'm playing Fantasy General 2 - and being taken back in my mind to the first game I played way back in 1996. It was one of my favorite strategy games with somewhat dry gameplay but a fantastic epic mood and award-winning music memorable for decades. They recycled the music in FG2, to everyone's delight I'm sure, and did everything else much in the spirit of the original as well. You're a bit closer to the hero characters, which makes the gameplay less dry, which is great. There's a small price to pay for modern presentation as the graphics and being closer to the characters lessens the epic mood somewhat, but I find myself playing with as much dedication and enjoyment as in the first part.
Waiting for my attention after I've passed my yearly two months of single-mindedly playing modded Minecraft: Age of Wonders: Planetfall and Greedfall. I hope to get to them soon but man, FG2 is taking a lot of my time.

Guessing Shadow of The Tomb Raider, at least the last one since that's the one where she goes all crazy fire demon. And pretty sure the first two are as well, (they are the same just two a black and white filter on the first one), because of how her face looks. It's sort of flatter, more just skin stuff. The first one was a baby face and the second had that shiny stylized look.

They're all from Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
It has a shiny photographer mode, unlike 2013 and Rise.
