Thanks! I'll have to keep an eye on if they can be levelled up for Arcade. So if credits are for cosmetics then what are weapons and mods for? Just by playing the game? Good advice on co op...probably will be doing a fair bit of that lol. Each of the base classes (Assault, Heavy, Officer and Specialist) starts with a basic weapon that has no upgrade path. By getting to a certain number of kills with the class you unlock the next tier weapon. You have to go to the weapon tab of the class and choose to equip it. I think you need 50 kills for Tier 2 and 400 for a Tier 4 weapon. Tier 2-3-4 weapons have 3 mods available for unlock, but only 2 mods can be active on a weapon at the same time. The mods are unlocked by farming kills with the same weapon - I think 50/100/150 kills to unlock each mod. Each weapon has different behavior and the mods usually improve some of it's weaknesses - like range, recoil, rate of fire, cooling, etc. Some mods give night vision or increased damage against droids/vehicles.

Got quite a different welcome at Crow's Perch since I ended up tussling with the baron's men at the Crossroads. Had to sneak in the back way via the well (ooh, treasure!). Still wound up at the same place though, agreeing to help find his wife and daughter in exchange for more info about Ciri.
Ugh, playing a Ciri - needed a couple tries vs the first wolf pack and had almost killed the werewolf when he got me first. Boo.

Updated Fallout 4 with the current patch which I delayed for a while. I hadn't played that current character since early December. I hate playing catch up. Maybe start a new game since that character level 90 something. But I really like that character. Perhaps I'll browse Nexus and see if there are any new mods or updates out. But then again I have two games going in the Dragon Age series. Ah hell no... Haven't played FO4 in a couple of months. UGH. Go to hell, Bethesda, for Creation Club.

Guild Wars 2Got my Sylvari character to level 30, marking the start of the next portion of the Personal story as well as one of the lasting decisions for this character...choosing an Order to join there's three to choose from Order of Whispers; consisting of spies and manipulators (among other things) Durmand Priory; researchers, archeologists and scholars The Vigil; knights, warriors and mercenaries I haven't decided yet who my character will join, but I'm leaning toward either the Order of Whispers or Durmand Priory (simply because they have the funniest mentors and quests)
also, I completed the armor set for my character as well, it's so pretty though there's another set I want for her, but I'll be able to craft that...eventually...as in probably never
at any rate, tomorrow my girl is going to help the Durmand Priory protect a town from undead

In BF 2...
I am delighted. This game has local co op and local multiplayer. It is so trippy though doing it in split screen after all these years...but I got used to it. And well me and my wife played a long with one another first. She wants to do a versus but didn't know the controls so I figured this would be a good way for her to learn and me too.
And well we ended up playing like 5 runs. I wanted to do one of each era and then do a starfighter and then we ended up playing villains. She is actually quite a good pilot, she beat me once in each of the villains and the starfighters...and I did well with the three heroes. My idea kind of back fired going through the three eras...there is a LOT to get used to in this game. And I really like the Bespin map.
Sadly it does seem like Arcade does not level your heroes...which does make sense in some ways but it is still VERY annoying. In spit of this I think before I really dive into MP I am going to have to play through each class and each of the heroes to get used to them before I dare do versus...or even online co op...and of course the campaign.

Swtor Compared to the other classes, the agent and the smuggler could sneak through mobs undetected. Unfortunately, it's not reflected in the dialogues. My poor agent was accused of slaughtering clan members, etc, when they're all standing around.

Fallout 4 Started another game with some different mods to try. Installed a Daenerys preset. Odd that Emilia isn't a name that Codsworth says, so we went with Emily. After leaving the Vault, met Codsworth to see what is up and then ventured to Concord to help that annoying Preston. Returned to Sanctuary and did a lot of settlement building. Then I went over to the Red Rocket truck stop and did some settlement building. Thinking on what I want to do with the place. I'll probably go with the loner mechanic like I did in the last game. I have a mod that extends the build area, so I'll think about what I'll build as in storage and living space. Ah, you want me to get up and take care of the baby? Sure, sure, not like I've been on my feet since dawn, getting breakfast ready, cleaning the house, doing the laundry and pulling out weeds in the garden. Final look. Well, golly! It sure is hostile since I last remembered the Commonwealth.

I bought the Season Pass for Assassin's Creed Odyssey and decide to have some fun with the Assassin's Talent that came with it, so I went on a spree testing and watching bodies disappear. Its funny to watch people examine a spot where body fell so they saw the body before it disappeared and continue to look at it as if it was there. Instant distraction for another assassination strike and another body to watch.

More Red Dead Redemption 2; Arthur rode out with Charles to - first find, and then rescue - Trelawny. Stupid conman had gotten himself captured by bounty hunters. Riding to Trelawny with Charles Found and freed him, and dealt with the bounty hunters who'd picked him up. Hosea had been working on a plan to get in with the Braithwaites - a rich family - and his brilliant plan was for Arthur and Sean to burn some tobacco fields. Fields belonging to the Sheriff. Still - the stealth aspect was fun. Sean is now rivalling Micah for my least favourite gang member, though. Bloody idiot. Afterwards, it was back to Valentine with Karen, Lenny and Bill to rob the local bank All went pretty well according to plan. Got in without being noticed, Arthur cracked the safes rather than blow them and attract attention, the take was huge and we left, without killing a soul...in the bank. Of course, someone went into the bank and shrieked that it had been robbed Had to ride and shoot our way out but got there in the end. ------ After a slow - very slow - start, this game is really growing on me. It is beautiful, no doubt, which helps. But by itself that isn't enough. The gameplay is fun, with a fair amount of variety of things to do, although if I'm being honest, I could do without having to eat, sleep and feed and brush my horse. But, beyond that - having a great time.

Found Ciri. I really, really enjoy those scenes where Geralt just sits down with someone and has a long conversation, and this might be the best. Kind of get that the dwarves got tired of waiting. I could sit and listen to Ciri's adventures in front of the fire admiring how strong and healthy and warmhearted and insightful she's grown all day. Brought her home and made preparations for the battle with the Wild Hunt. I always find it hilarious to see Geralt play General to his little fellowship. Has he ever led men into battle before? Witchers are fantastic swordsmen, alchemists and hunters, but... experts in guerrilla warfare? I dunno. I feel like maybe Roche or Zoltan should be the one holding the orientation. The Cat bracers also look a little weird from this angle. I'll be changing to the Superior Wolf set in about 200 Exp, after arriving back in Velen. The battle really is awesome. Few things are as lovely as a coordinated effort where everybody plays to their strengths. Hjalmar and his Skelligans probably play the weakest part, but the whole group kicks ass. Especially Geralt, Lambert, Letho and Triss. Pure and delicious fan-service, that. I'm pretty sure that if it wasn't for the portal spamming, they could have held the Wild Hunt off indefinitely. Of course, nothing lasts forever. Vesemir really shows his balls at the end, knocking goddamn Imlerith flat on his ass in one move, wounding Eredin and saving Ciri at the cost of his own life. He and Eskel are the best witchers in the world. (Sorry, I can't stop posting images of Geralt. He's just so smexy with that hair and beard and armor that it kills me. Dilf of the year 2020.) I feel like cremating your witcher daddy should give more than 400 Exp, but maybe that's just me. The Exp rewards during this quest are weirdly huge and come in quick succession, and it's hard to plan around when it comes to still being in range for some contracts and side-quests afterwards. I also expected to make level 29 by the end so I could face Imlerith wearing full Wolf regalia in Vesemir's honor afterwards, but no such luck. Unless there's an unexpected bounty of experience points to be found at the Sabbath before getting there, in which case it'll seem weird for Geralt to wait until then to change clothes. But oh well. Also took Ciri to see Emhyr on the way. Not because he's her "father", because he threw that shit down the drain when he killed her mother, faked his death and invaded her home with a murderous army with the intent to coerce her into having sex with him, way back when. But Geralt was knighted by the Lady of the Lake maybe a year and a half ago, and breaking agreements isn't something you do just because you feel like it. And it's a good idea for Ciri to keep her options open. She should know what Emhyr is offering her, so she can make informed decisions about her future. Still, almost sucker-punched Voorhis when he was waxing maudlin about how beautiful and graceful she is as well as how much she must want to be Empress because who wouldn't want to be Emper or...? Yuck. It's the only time in the game when he really comes across as an ambitious creep that I'd never want anywhere near my daughter. Ain't no dad on the Continent who likes it when some slimy rake with eyeliner makes eyes at his little girl. Luckily Ciri is old enough to know a smarmy loser when she sees one. Wouldn't want to have to shove a meteorite sword up his ass. Obviously refused payment. Geralt is neither destitute nor entirely tonedeaf, and no amount of additional coin is worth making your sensitive and explosively powerful daughter feel like she's just livestock to you. Off to take father-and-daughter vengeance on a baldy with pointy ears and wonderfully heat-sensitive armor.

Funny you say that because when I accidentally put that hair on him I couldn't get rid of it fast enough. I know, it's just so floppy and 90's boy band-y. You really need one of the bushy beards to balance it out, or it's atrocious. And there are still moments where it looks pretty silly. I just detest ponytails on men, and the really short hairdos look too boring. And I'm tired of him being this lanky dude with long flowing white hair. This way he still gets to look pretty, while also looking like a grown man instead of a romantic fantasy novel protagonist. I used to pair it with the full beard, but that makes him look a bit too old and uncivilized. The short mustache and thick goatee are perfect though. Next playthrough I'll give him the Kurt Russel treatment:

Obra Done. 2 PTs needed. And one reload on the second to fiddle with the last 3 fates. Or 4. I thought I wasn't good at it after first try but there is a scene that is cruscial for all kinds of identifications and you get more familiar with the crew's roles to find relations.
Return of the Obra Dinn isa puzzle game that tells a story in stillshots. It's mostly gruesome scenes of people perishing. Some scenes may need revisiting to pick up a clue but you get a boook to organise and put it into order. It really helps. What you do is find out who is who, who done it and how and that's pretty much it. Determine the fates and conclude the book aka game. Limited replayability - it's the same every time.
Another game by Lucas Pope who did Papers please. Makes inventive games. Has good hand for music bits. Someone to look out for. Don't try this if you don't know what gameplay means and look only for high-fidelity graphics.

my Sylvari in Guild Wars 2 has joined up with the Order of Whispers, which is entirely out of character but that's kinda the point in truth, any of the orders would've suited her...but the mentor from the Order of Whispers is so funny I just had too for now I just need to grab a few more levels in in order to advance the next set of quests in the personal story

My Time At Portia vs Deus Ex Human Revolution : The battle for my playtime.
I installed both games this weekend. I played through DX:HR twice since it released, but never played My Time At Portia (Game Pass PC install). I know I said I should play all DX games, but looking at the first game screenshots made me jump to DX:HR and I replayed Mankind Divided last Fall already. Beside, outside the last two, there isn't any real requirements to play them in order.
DX:HR still has one of the best video game intro out there but the in-game animations didn't age gracefully...well, they were a joke when the game released in 2011, I guess that was to be expected. Also, Mankind was such an improvement gameplay-wise. Toggle for cover, meh. Square should do a remaster dammit. I'm still at the start of the game post body reconstruction, going into the factory with Sanders's goons. I actually stopped playing because I wasn't sure how I wanted to play (stealth/direct approach, lethal/non-lethal).
Then I loaded up My Time At Portia, because it was done downloading. It's kinda like Stardew Valley, but in 3D and with some voiceovers. There seems to be more stuff too and more combat. We will see. I remember reading good reviews when it released way back. Only played the first day...and now I'm off to the wiki because I have a lots of question about gameplay the tutorial isn't answering.

Geralt's a dilf no matter what but now I feel obligated to show my favorite version. Especially when paired with that Ursine armor, hell yeah.

Next playthrough I'll give him the Kurt Russel treatment: With all due respect, that look should be outlawed.

That's a god send that skill!!!!!!
