I gave a go at AC Black Flag for like 1 hour last night. Surprise, surprise, it use Odyssey controls, but the boars are a lot less aggressive and have way less hitpoints. I also died from a fall too, I missed a platform a bit down to my starting point by like a foot and the rest of the drop was huge... Otherwise, I did more SWTOR. Almost done with Nar Shadda on my Trooper. got started with the second season of the living story in GW2 the other day (first season is no longer playable) and have almost finished the first episode I've got to say, the new characters are quite charming (Taimi is adorable) and I rather like the group dynamic needless to say, I'm looking forward to where this group goes and what they'll accomplish alongside my Necromancer (yeah, the group also has a necromancer, but hey *shrug* can't have enough of those)
Taimi will continue to be the most adorable Asura ever. Also, living story season one not being playable is not 100% accurate anymore. GW2 "vision of the past" update added back 4 of the instances a few weeks go.

Felya87 Did you complete the Fate of Atlantis DLC in Odyssey yet? Not yet... I'll return to it soon, when I have a longer pause. Working from home have cut most of my gaming time lately. Even Syndacate I've played just to free Whitechapel, and these are games that I enjoy better if I can make longer sessions. Ah, okay. I’m just curious to see your opinion on it, particularly Modern Day.

and yeah I know, though it'll likely be quite a while before I play that episode, for now I want to focus on at least unlocking the mastery system and perhaps gliders and mounts and after that...we'll see
on the other hand, I'm currently thinking a bit on maybe making a new character (likely a Sylvari) but dunno yet what profession. I kinda want to make a ranged class this time around...since I've found out I'm quite...terrible at close combat in mmo's (my necromancer being a dual dagger/greatsword Reaper)

Finished TW3 main quest. The Ran the Gauntlet achievement unlocked even though I had a earlier issue with the difficulty having changed on its own, pleasantly surprised by that. I was really close to rolling with Svanrige as Skellige's ruler, and during the Sunstone quest I really wished I would've gone through with it. Oh well, when I do a New Game+/Death March run, I'm thinking of going with Svanrige and Radovid for rulers. Also, I came across a rare cursed creature in White Orchard. Good thing a Witcher was around to lift the curse. Haha.

So been enjoying hunting the Ostraka and doing daily/weekly Ori quests I am getting closer to either starting anew PT and playing as Alexios or just picking up my last Alexios PT and doubling back and clearing things I may have missed. Just need to decide whether to go back to TD2 or not and at least finish the SP campaign or get to L30 (currently at L23 I think) as I am feeling the grind and the game kind of stresses me out too much. saandrig you had an undefeatable warrior build IIRC, care to share? I love playing as an Assassin but I need to try something different, so thought I'd go a straight up warrior build, no sneaky, sneaky using a spear. Anyone got tips re best armour, weapons, skills etc for such a build? Right, warrior builds. It depends how you want to go about it. A 50-60% crit and 200-300% crit damage (both being "when Full Health") are the basic things I try to reach at minimum in all my Warrior builds. Get some "Health received on damage done" and "Health on Adrenaline spent", but don't overspend. If you go for high damage without building for Health, you will heal up to full with 1-2 hits even with low stats on heals received. You can go higher on all those, but will have to make a concession on the other stats below. Stacking all possible Warrior damage plus Fire/Poison and preffered weapon damage stats. You can build heavily into this. It's devastating combined with Warrior abilities. Downside is that without some defensive stats, it's trully a glass cannon. Speaking of defensive stats - don't bother with Armor and Health. What you want is Physical Resistance and "Chance to receive half damage". For a completely invulnerable build you can use the Legendary armor that gives 30% All resistances and engrave extra resistances on top, becoming 70-100% resistant to all, basically a God Mode cheat. Downside? Nothing can kill you, but you hit almost like a wet noodle (not much damage stats), even with the "25% HP, 100% Damage" engraving. Things improve with the special sword engraving "250% damage, but no ability usage" (on top of the 25% HP, 100% damage one), but - no abilities. My preffered "plug&play" build is a mix. Go for 40 or no more than 80% "Chance to receive half damage" (that's 1 or 2 engravings). Reach 70% or more Physical Resistance (although 50-60% can be fine too). It's the one thing that will hit you 90% of the game. The other Resistances are fine anywhere between 15 and 40% (you can get to All 15% with one engraving or All 30% with a Legendary set"). Use the 25% HP, 100% damage engraving. With the above mentioned Crit, Crit damage and "HP on hit" you will practically be at full HP with 1 non-crit strike 95% of the time and rarely be hit for more than a sliver of your HP. Rest of the stats are up to you - more damage, more Resistances or more Crit stuff. I usually go for damage, as my defenses and Crit are fine at that point. You do need to parry and evade once in a while with this build, but probably could beat the game with almost no deaths by just spamming the attack key. I have put a screenshot in my game on almost every Ostraka location. For personal use in future new fresh games. Make sure to filter them out if you see my photos on your map. Wouldn't want to spoil your Ostraka hunt 😜 Cheers will try tweaked PnP Warrior build with a spear using the Set that gives an instant 30% resistance to all. Think its the heroes set but put it together after a few beers last night so see what it look like when I log into the game today!!!! Re the Ostraka, wont be filtering the photos out will be cheating with them to the best of my ability!!!!! Re my PC shutting down issues, it did it for the first time with Odyssey, have contacted the guys who built it asking for advice and if the PSU is still under warranty. Lute playing Alexios must draw a lot of power from the PSU!!!!!

I played a bit more my Norn Necromancer in GW2 and then I got to Hidden Arcana and I went "nope". It's the most annoying mission bosses of all LS 2. I wasn't in the mood for it.
Then I watched a few episodes of Dark on Netflix and I'm thinking that the crazy plot and drama would make for a very fun video game. I'm not even sure how the showrunners keep tracks of it.
After that, I went back to SWTOR, hopped on my Bounty Hunter who is now enjoying the fresh air of Belsavis. It's kinda weird, I played through that planet as an Imperial at least 5 times since the game released, the last time being about 3 years ago...yet, I don't remember any of it except the final meeting with the Dread Masters.
Oh and I'm starting to get annoyed by all those Sith "I destroyed half a planet" Lords who basically begrequest my Bounty Hunter to help them enacted their personal vengeance. Not only does it make the Imperials looks incompetents, but it makes those Sith Lords sound like total losers. No wonder the Imps always lose.

got another area done in GW2 (currently on 63% map completion) just three more maps for the Shiverpeaks then I still need to do all Ascalon and Orr maps, and then I'll be focusing on the living story maps and mission as we go along
currently pondering about the class of my new character, kinda veering toward Engineer...but not really sure how they play (I believe I played one once when the game first came out but it changed quite a bit since) another contender might be Guardian (since I already got one to a high level yet) but dunno yet

AC Origins Finally went to see Aya. Wished I had done it earlier because she gave Bayek the hidden blade which she received from Cleopatra. ??! Cleopatra. um... I had assumed, given what ACOD had shown. But of course ACOD comes after ACO so not everything is in line. I wish they hadn't tried to link up Kass to the main char in ACO. Killed a civilian while trying the chariot. Well the idiot didn't get out of the way. Anyone with any sense would get away as far as possible from a racing chariot and horses but no, he stubbornly stood there and mouthed something I never understood. The NPCs are stupid in any case. Now, Greeks are smarter. They roll and dive out of the way of horses charging down the road. Climbed the highest tower in Alexandria and later died while trying to climb down. Oh Kass, how I miss you! All those lovely targets behind walls. I think Artemis Arrows. Sadly, Bayek is no god. Only a mud mortal.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 Did two rounds of Cabaret Club managing then left the Club. Only to be lured back in with a funny side quest. Nice. Then lollygagged a little before moving on with the main story. And my fatigue apparently is not gone since I ended up skipping most of the cutscenes or browse on the phone when they played. Then got a couple more fun sidequests which was good. Also found a half naked man in the alley who wanted to join Majima's Construction Work Force, so that was real nice. Then back to boring main quest. Did enjoy the music that played as Kiryu beat up an old Shogi Player: Sins of the Father. So that was real nice. Wrapped up chapter 11 and skipped most of the scenes. Except of Kiryu in the rain, because The Sound of Breath by SiM is a proper banger. And the cutscene is just really neat. But was getting pretty uninterested and the game agreed and said I died, even if I healed up before the hit bar emptied...So just took it as the game telling me to put it down for a while. Alas the allure of fuzzy wuzzy tigers was too great so ended up picking the game up again shortly after. The Osaka Palace was once more a total hoot, even if it turned out to be way shorter than I remembered. Then spent the rest of the session escorting the little black hole for food named Haruka. Guessing she's keeping her gambling addiction quiet for now, since the only minigames she asked me to play were the robot fighter ( ) and Bingo Golf ( ). Also accidentally played a bunch of the human fighter game, which was not fun to play but exploiting the AI by scaring it out of the ring via Butt Slam was at least somewhat amusing. Otherwise just 20 request to eat big scrumptious meals at various restaurants. Since she kept quiet for more than 5 minutes I'm guessing I've hit a stop in her requests until the next hangout session. So next session will probably be furthering the main plot...yay. But it was for the most part fun.

That’s not really an excuse. Since they know where everything would end up since Origins was already out, then everything should have lined up. And yeah, many don’t. They should have just had it where their time with the Eagle Bearer helped develop the mentality and serve as inspiration, while the EB served as a distraction to allow them to get away. No forced romance, no rape baby, no timeline errors.

Lethal or non-lethal rounds? Non-lethal. Though I did destroy two drones. Yay! I wish more games would allow non-lethal options. Especially ones where that impacts the story and world like Deus Ex does.

So yesterday got Alexios up and running with my minimal stealth warrior PT, going to have to up the difficulty. I am Alexios, killer of goats, wolves, deer, leopards, Athenians, spartans, leaders of nations AND LORD OF FLAME. Let them all Burn!!!!! So Alexios is basically unstoppable with at least 60% resistance to everything, almost 200% Ignore Half Damage and 180% Armour. He kills everything even a leader and his group of guards in Megaris without taking any damage, with 260% Warrior damage, +15% Warrior Abilities, Melee attack applies top nearby enemies, 200% flame damage, +50% Burn rate and Flame damage applies to nearby enemies and also +30% with spears. I am usually a total stealth player so it's kind of weird to just walk into a fort and go "Hello Boys". The only quest I did by stealth was stealing the Cyclops eye. Anyway cleared Kephallonia, Ithaka and most of Megaris in a bit over 3hrs yesterday. Let the plague family be killed, killed Talos Stone Fist or whatever his name is and some other random mercenary in Megaris who just happened to wander by and in general told Marcos he was an idiot!!!!!! Think Alexios will try and get his sister back but Stentor and The Wolf will be getting the pointy end of his spear. Pic's And so it begins Lord of Flame Answering Prayers Flirting with Odessa Finding a Spear using a spear About to hide the Cyclop's eye Scenery No forgiveness for you Wolfy boy

FYI I have started posting this in the AC Odyssey what did you do today thread and will only post there from tomorrow if anyone wants to read it.So quickly, Alexios did more burning of everything in Megaris today. Didn't have the heart to change the difficulty as he was having so much fun killing everything like a BOSS but will today. Progressed the story by killing the leader, killing The Wolf and Killing Stentor (that was a nice surprise ) then did Odesssa's quests, romanced her even though she seems a bit dishonest and recruited her to The Adrestia. Decided to chase a mercenary who happened by and ended up killing 3 others who were riding in the opposite direction!!!! You are not forgiven More burning stuff Alexios feeling the heat in other ways

So got lured into playing stupid sexy Alexios. A very squishy one though, but that's part of the fun. Just lollygagged on Kephallonia, with one exception. Managed to sneak and steal the Cyclops Eye without being spotted for the first time ever. Or well, was spotted but not clearly enough for them to try and wreck the vineyard. So that was pretty cool. Also managed to murder Talos the Fist. Which was a pretty nice thing. No Elpenor this session which was not as nice. But his meeting is primed if there is a next session....
Yakuza Kiwami 2 Failed to sell Haruka into idolized slavery but at least got to dupe some poor chick in her stead. Darts make me mad. Irrationally so. Granted most of the minigames in this game do, since my timing is so very, very rubbish.
Did a bunch of main quest stuff and think I've only got two chapters left. But Haruka also started piping up with wanting to do stuff so...
Gave the batting cages a proper try today. Won't say it was fun, but it was nice to make some progress after never even having hit one homerun in the other attempts I did. Serene Bat made things so nice and easy. Only got the final Expert level in the Challange Rounds and the Expert level in Home Runs left. And well I don't think I'll get past them, but at least I made it there. Also found a new subquest which was okay and managed to get through Haruka's request connected to the Batting Cages. Even if the little twit thought I took too long unlocking her request level and wanted to do something else in between. Luckily I only needed to do one set in her level, which was nice and easy.
Then did some more stuff and ended the session raging at the karaoke request. Why won't you just take the 90 rank I got on your song :C since I also have to do that before getting to my song and it stresses me out like crazy. Bah. At least the songs are really fun and I can shove Haruka around a little when she sasses me. So hopefully she's still game in next session.

Curious Crow are you doing NG+ or a new start with Alexios? I decided yesterday Elpenor's voice reminds me of Rutger Hauer not sure that's an accurate recollection but whilst he is a slimy snake I like his voice. Speaking of which we have a meeting scheduled at the giant snake today!!!!!
