More Yakuza Kiwami 2 adventures. Was looking up stuff on the bouncer adventures yesterday when I found out I could bring my own weapons. Which was a stupid oversight on my part but hecking heck it made things way easier. Got down four mission and then some, thus completing the Battle section of the progression bar. Then couldn't be bothered to do the Minigame stuff so ended up rushing through the final quest, skipping quite a lot since while the reveals and twists were kinda cool the first time around, they are kinda longwinded on a second watch. Then my chronic delaying of trying Fire Emblem kicked in today, so ended up reloading before the finale save and digging into the world of Mahjong. And I don't really get it, but learned a semi solid way of winning a round. Not solid as in it always work, just solid that I can wrap my head around what I should take and what I should ditch. And through many, many rounds and scriblings and money being burned in a glorious blaze I managed to win each table once, both tournaments and squeeze out 30 tsumo's and rons. Did cheat on the tournaments by using a peerless tile (aka insta win) since I had two and hadn't realized that I'd have to squeeze out 30 rons or tsumos so figured I'd save myself from playing too much Mahjong. Hahahahahahahahahaha. Also ended up grinding the points needed for the tomes in the batting center. Luckily I had wrapped my brain around the mechanics so it was just kinda tedious. But could watch youtube on the side so it wasn't too bad. Wrapped up some more bouncer missions and have at least completed all easy levels in each quest, except for the final one since it's insane, so'll have to get some cheesy items from the premium adventures. Shogi had a handy dandy youtube video so it was over quick and painless. So there was just the lewd photoshoot. It was pretty awkward in general but did have a blast watching them try to be sexy on a squeaky leather sofa. Keeping straight faced as it made farting noises every time they moved. Glorious. Sexiest bit was of course ticking the final task of the Minigames part of the completion list. So figure I'll just blast through the final quest to take a screenshot of the glorious completion screen. It was easy peasy last time and I didn't have all the cool stuff I had now. Well. It turns out that the QTE at the end of the final boss fight is critical. Even if you are at 100% health, the game just goes LOL nope ur ded. So. I may have gotten a bit tipsy while grinding the minigames. There may be a bit of an input lag on the controller. Maybe both. Maybe neither. Either way, I failed the QTE. 4 times. Thankfully the game does autosave before the final sequence even on Legend Mode. Because that sequence is tedious already and hot damn if I'd had to replay from the start of the mission I'd...just have gone to sleep probably. After popping a few veins. But, again, thank the maker for autosaves. And thankfully the fights themselves were easy as pie and I managed to skip one long ass qte sequence for two of the attempts. So it wasn't all awful. So the screenie which was not really worth it: Then just need to poke the bouncer mission some more tomorrow, this time loaded with cheese. And then it's a bit of a grind in Majima's construction and I'll have all the achivo's. Hopefully.

Last night I made some changes to my GW2 Scrapper. I reduced his critical chance gained from Firearms traits line to go with the Tools traits line instead. I can still hit around 75-80% critical hit chances without Firearms, so it's not that bad. I gain more stability which means I'm less often on my ass and a more constant 10% damage boost from having almost perma vigor which regen my endurance which means I can dodge more.
I also did some more SWTOR and there was 7 maps on Tatooine. 7! It's the Ragkhoul event, but last year that event had like 3 map max, otherwise there was only the normal map and the pvp map (both always exist). On top of it, most of them were red/locked which means they were full. There was around 700 players just on Tatooine last night (instance cap is 120, but the 7th instance wasn't full). I feel like the game double its playerbase since Onslaught released, crazy.
Beside that, I did an heroic I find super annoying because of all the gold enemies in it. I usually stealth it and ignore the bonus, but the Trooper doesn't have stealth. After starting it, I decided to do the bonus because my Trooper was demolishing those Twin Suns. Either Elara Dorne is a super medic or my Trooper is good at tanking and DPSing at the same time.

Just as well I'm keeping out of swtor for now. It's likely I'll lag or get mad with players jumping in on quest objectives that are not locked in instance. Trooper skills aren't bad and companions are good with healing. It still can go south depending on the type of mob.

Guessing this will be the last Yakuza Kiwami 2 adventure for now. Unless I play some Cabaret Club I guess. So the Majima achivo was regarding cash you earned during a mission, not president units, so that was nowhere near as grindy as I expected. Did look up the most profitable mission and the suggestion I got was the final main storyline mission. Had a bit more trouble with it than last time, but considerably more profit so the achivo got in the bag quite painlessly. Bouncer mission was not as painless. Turns out you need to max out all the earlier missions first, so I couldn't just get the madness over with and then coast through the easy mode. So most of the day went into doing the missions. There were so many. Luckily the fancy new katana made them easy, so it was just a bit tedious. The final three missions were not as easy, as expected. Not skilled enough to get through them on one life so decided to invest in some Sacrifice Stones, which fill up your health once then break. So obviously they are quite expensive. And since I blew all my earnings on Mahjong and baseball I ended up having to play some Cabaret Club. The horror. The first mission of the three ended up being the hardest, since the boss on that level had a bunch of beefy bodyguards so things got quite messy. Especially since two at the final fight had pistols, which is a pain if you're also defending from heavy fists and an insane assassin. So that was a joy. Second was the easiest, since his bodyguards were fairly squishy and not armed, so easily disposed off. And a smg becomes a joke if you have the Sacred Wood Armor and only need to focus on that mook. Since the armor auto blocks bullets. So that was actually nice. Third was nowhere near the teeth pulling I was expecting it to be. Granted I had like 9 sacrifice stones for each bout, but only had to use like half. Even if I messed up on the final difficulty of that bout and managed to trigger two Amon brothers at once. So that was absolutely delightful and i'm never doing it again. BUT. Now I have this. Yuss. It's a wee bit tempting to try and 100% the other two. But there are so many card games. And so much Mahjong. And wonky darts. And just minigames in general. Ugh. So it's even more tempting to just not. Actually remembered climax battles are a thing. So just no. Nope. No way.

Trooper skills aren't bad and companions are good with healing. It still can go south depending on the type of mob. Yup I estimate around 700 based on map cap, but only on Tatooine as this is where the Rakghoul event is happening, but every time I've been on while this event happened in the past, it wasn't particularly popular (no point in doing it if you got everything already). This time, it's super popular which means these are newish players or people with nothing to do. It was also in the morning, not even peak time. There are clearly a lot more people playing. *edit* just logged in, still 7 maps on Tat and there are 2 pvp ones...nobody goes on the pvp maps usually *edit* I'm not having crazy lag issues in SWTOR currently, but I do have them in GW2, this afternoon was rather annoying in fact. I'm not the only one and people are saying the issue is with a specific company internet link in-between them and the servers. Not much the devs can do about it outside complaining to said company to fix their network. Lots of people not working are affecting MMOs population I think and also causing internet issues. Next week it should be the start of a 2x XP event in SWTOR and GW2 has its Super Adventure Box event. Those servers are going to be sweating and melting soon. Nothing go south with my Trooper, Havoc Squad are the Best of the Best! They are so great that I'm running out of space to stash all that level 75 gear. Also, my Scrapper joined the Priory. Research and Adventures they said and he was sold...best recruiting slogan ever.

Just finished a RDR2 playthrough, and waiting to get FF7, so I decided to go digging around in my old ps3 games and fire up a Kingdoms of Amalur: the Reckoning playthrough in the meantime- quite enjoyed that game, haven't played it in years, so I'm looking forward to dicking around with that until I can start FF7.
Also mixing in some Civ 6 and some ME3/ME3MP (now that I replaced my busted ps3)

I decided to take a break from the grind of sands and dropped into a colourful world. My Time At Portia Basically, it's like Stardew Valley. Your char inherits something and decides to do something with it. However, the world is post apocalyptic or something akin to it. Before, it was a technological world, now it's back to the old pastoral ways. Relics like data discs are considered dangerous by some, to others they may hold important info. The only way to get ancient stuff like those is to explore ruins. Your char starts out as a basic Builder in Portia. Take on contracts, etc to earn money and reputation. Gather, mine and hunt resources / treasure to build and upgrade house, equipment and so on. Like Stardew Valley, your char can romance, marry and start a family. Each game day is only 15 mins. This is the female char I started named Arisa. She's standing in front of the workshop / house she inherited from her dad. Inside, it's just a bed. No furnishings. Improvements can be made over time. Part of the town can be seen. Sunset So unfortunately, the animals are just a bit too colourful and cute. Like these Llamas.

Tips: fishing is a great money maker at the start (especially the fishing festival in the first month so load up in worms before it) and take your time. My first playthrough, I kinda rushed and at some point I was locked behind machines I didn't unlock yet (you need data disc for that). It's better to play the game casually and focus on gathering materials/fishing than doing Commerce writs early on.

just got 100% map completion on my Necromancer in GW2 now it's time to finish up Living Story Season 2...and other stuff Gratz!!! Did you start collecting cats? Aka the Hungry cat scavenger hunt. I only have 8 of them, as I always forget to bring the stuff to unlock others when I'm going into their area. Super Adventure Box is starting starting next week (recurrent every April) and one is in there. gw2efficiency.com has a tab that makes it easier to know which one you already have once you start.

though I'm currently thinking of maybe doing the first part of each expansion in order to unlock mastery, mounts and gliders I'll go get the glider, it's super useful when you fall to your death. It does spoil the ending of LS2 last mission though. For the mounts, you will only get the Raptor with the first mission. The most useful one (griffin), requires finishing the expac story to unlock the collection to get it (also keep 200 golds aside if you want it, you'll have to spend that much money for the collection). The others are unlocked on different maps, not sure if Springer and Skimmer are story locked (they are required to advance the story), but the Jackal isn't (it's optional, but you can't go where to unlock it without the Skimmer I believe).

also a question, I'm currently at the mission within Glint's sanctuary...but I can't get past the third segment with the fragility status effect (somehow I end up getting to late to the correct area) is there some trick to get past it?

I'll go get the glider, it's super useful when you fall to your death. I see think I'll just continue onward for now...I can wait
also a question, I'm currently at the mission within Glint's sanctuary...but I can't get past the third segment with the fragility status effect (somehow I end up getting to late to the correct area) is there some trick to get past it?
Hidden Arcana is my most hated mission in all the game. I stopped playing my Norn Necro once he got there, lol. For the fragility status section, I always hug the left side of the "corridor" until I get to its boss. I forward dodge roll to avoid potential damage. I don't remember ever being late. If you need more speed: necro warhorn cast swiftness, there is a traits that increase speed (blood magic/quickening thirst) and the signet of locust passive does as well. For the boss, lots of dodge rolling/manual kitting. You can't damage it directly, you need to pick a fragility status when they spawn and put it on a crystal and destroy the crystal once the boss is near it. It's super annoying and slow going. It's not the most annoying boss/section of that mission unfortunately.

I'm STILL playing No Man's Sky... ugh. Or I'm playing AGAIN anyway. Mostly finishing up several bases. Spent the past 2 days uploading older builds. This one here has a music track most people here will appreciate.
I finally finished my disco base as well. Need to record it soon. But here's a preview clip: This was my first attempt at using the beat box. It's super basic because I have NO talent for composing music. I just altered a default track and then added a few more sound effects. I still kinda like it though in a silly sort of way...

Thanks. Take it slow, fishing. ok.

I have lots of games to finish. Yet here I am, playng again Dragon Age Inquisition. Killed off Imshael, but...what a grind! That will teach me go trought Emprise du Lion underleveled and with two mages in the team How am I to have an avenue to gripe about Odyssey is you keep delaying your finishing the DLC?
