I see think I'll just continue onward for now...I can wait
also a question, I'm currently at the mission within Glint's sanctuary...but I can't get past the third segment with the fragility status effect (somehow I end up getting to late to the correct area) is there some trick to get past it?
Hidden Arcana is my most hated mission in all the game. I stopped playing my Norn Necro once he got there, lol. For the fragility status section, I always hug the left side of the "corridor" until I get to its boss. I forward dodge roll to avoid potential damage. I don't remember ever being late. If you need more speed: necro warhorn cast swiftness, there is a traits that increase speed (blood magic/quickening thirst) and the signet of locust passive does as well. For the boss, lots of dodge rolling/manual kitting. You can't damage it directly, you need to pick a fragility status when they spawn and put it on a crystal and destroy the crystal once the boss is near it. It's super annoying and slow going. It's not the most annoying boss/section of that mission unfortunately. just saw it's the last mission of that section anyway...could always skip it

I'm right now playing Dragon's dogma for the first time, a game from 2013. Great combat gameplay, and awesome character creator, a lot of choices, you can even change body size. Not really focused on story, they certainly counted on people's imagination a bit to compensate the lacking narrative in between the cutscenes that happen at key moments of the story. But overall this game is quite fun. Syv. He is no Ser. He is no white knight in shining armor. Dark man, dark thoughts. Fierce wolf, born from parents as adamant as iron, highlty educated, a quite implacable man for a quite peaceful time in a quite peaceful village that was still irrelevant in the world until it became recently a protectorate under the aegis of the expansionist Duke Edmund of Gran Soren moving his army and fortifications into the free south, on the initiative of the village chief Ataro, asking for his protection in exchange for relative independence in their way of life. Native of Cassardis - though his parents were migrants from a mysterious place, but having traveled, rougly fighted as a mercenary, hunted a lot for years and undergone a martial education in his childhood, Syv, " the dark wolf of the abysses " is by far the strongest and smartest man, the most skilled warrior of his small village only full of irrelevant fishermen. No one is his match. And he does take advantage of that to gain influence. Aware of his strength, his power to influence the inhabitants with words, thanks to his martial prowess, his higher education, - being able to read and write, his audacity and the quickness of his mind, Syv quickly established himself as a natural leader to the mind of all. He intends soon to replace the old Ataro, the village chief, and to marry his adopted daughter - whether he likes it or not -, Quina gifted with prodigious healing talents, reaffirming his control with an iron fist over the inhabitants of Cassardis. In fact, everyone expects it more or less. Few men among fishermen would dare, Syv vastly superior to all of them, - except in kindness and generosity. He had plans for his village and he wouldn't let anyone get in his way. Dangerous, austere, confident -a little arrogant-and cynical, cunning. That guy isn't fit to be a beloved hero like you hear in the songs. A fire however burns in him, constantly ignites his heart, that of passion, passion for his loved ones, passion for his village, passion for life. Admired but feared by other men, he is obviously not very much liked, - even considered as a rude illegetimate stranger by a minority, though they won't spit it to his face - except by Quina, the chief's daughter who gentle and compassionate, has weirdly a hot spot for him. But when problems strike home like bandits or monsters, every single time the inhabitants turn to him to solve them, regardless of their feelings. It's a natural instinct for humans. Threatened, powerless, uncertain, you turn toward the one that can protect you, that can fight for you or oustanding by his temper and lead to victory. It has always been true everywhere in history since the beginning of life. Syv's little legend among villagers born of rumors was truly made when one day, after the death of a young boy, Jae, a native of Cassardis, only sixteen years old, was killed by goblins growing more and more confident these past days. One night following his death, Syv just left, taking his old armor, his old shield and sword that served in other obscure times as mercenary, only alone and without any words for anyone, grim eyes following him. He disappeared for days. When he suddenly came back, his face was tired but sinister, his eyes glooming, sixteen skulls of goblins shattered and devoid of flesh were attached to his belt thankts to ropes, his feline gait terribly weighed down, an arm in blood. The skulls had been placed on poles all around Cassardis. The Duke's guards allowed forteen days to pass before having these terryfing empty skulls removed on the orders of the garrison commander. For months, following this dismal event, the goblins around on the roads did not approach the village, the young boy avenged. Nobody knows how many that sinister and threatening man truly killed. He never said a word about that. Only Quina who healed him maybe knew. While it happened a few years ago, it was still very fresh in the memories and people except Quina and the village chief who treated him like a nephew, were careful toward him, giving him a nickname as sinister as he was. So the prologue happened, a dragon coming from nowhere brought death and fire with thousands of monsters accompanying him, sowed destruction in the village. And my character quite stupidly enough, with only his clothes to protect him took a rusty sword and tried to attack a rabid giant dragon instead of hiding like others and putting that woman he seems to care about in safety. I will state that even smart men can act in a stupid or irrational way sometimes when they are suddenly taken by surprise. So I'll take it. Obviously, he didn't succeed, and the dragon strangely intrigued by his foolish audacity talked to him in his own stranger language, before planting his huge claw in his chest and tearing his heart out to engulf it in one go in his throat.. Okay. Sooo, Syv didn't die, still breathing without heart, his scar closed on an empty chest. He ... suddenly woke up in Ataro and Quina's house, with the profound and enigmatic voice of the dragon inside of him that he could understand now. << Take up arms newly Arisen. >> Who ? What did he mean by that ? What were these new powers he seemed to have ? What that did imply ? << Newly Arisen, walker of the path...take up arms. To me...come to me..>> That's what he heard when he woke up, still entangled in a torn shirt drowned in his blood, bandages tightly hugging his chest, people not bothered to remove it. Quina took care of him and healed his wounds while he was unconscious. She was perfect as always. He thanked her passionnately in his own way that made her blush like a little girl, like it never happened before. Thus today Syv, in fine fettle, after the dragon's attack discovered a real mess out there. Guided by a will of steel and a surprising altruistic approach faced to the magnitude of the disaster and the suffering around the " dark wolf of the abysses " basically spent his whole time actively helping other villagers with responding to their requests , a lot of deads, burned bodies, people in need. Syv explored the area to provide the plants the apothecary needed, he also saved a merchant from wolves on the road, he did eveything he could for days for others. His help was welcome and very much noticed as much as his foolish courage against the dragon. Everyone was helping everyone as well, but nobody has done more for the villagers than he did.

But the last boss mechanics comes back again in a story mission in PoF (less annoying than in Hidden Arcana thankfully) and it expect you to know what to do.

but they expect me to remember what I did months before in a game? I sometimes even have trouble remembering what I did the day before...and on the other hand still remember plots from games I haven't played in years (aka. my memory is weird)
I'm just gonna try again 'till it works out (my pride as a gamer demands it)

Trying NG+ of Mankind Divided. The Tesla augment really breaks the game. Blew through the opening level in ~15 minutes (no kills).

Been playing some Bannerlord. It's early access, but it's already a whole load of fun.
Waiting for the siege engines to arrive at the walls and trying not to get shot: Over the top! 750 battle limit you say? Easy peasy: (No performace issues there whatsoever)
Hacking down the enemy as they flee is always fun:
Lisbeth von Tannen joined the Southern Empire as a Mercenary, got brought into the fold as a noble and has finally been awarded her first castle.

I finished Chapter 1 of the Trooper storyline in SWTOR. The traitors were all dealt with. I remembered the Alderaan end fight, but had totally forgotten what happened in the first 3 missions on the planet before it. The nobles are still as annoying as ever though. It's a pretty planet, but those nobles... My Trooper is now off duty. Won't last long, but it made more sense when the game released that there was a break between chapter 1 and chapter 2. Now you can just start the next chapter right away even if the game says you should "take a break". --- In GW2, I saw an event that said "avenge Forgal" in the Bloodtide Coast. It's kinda weird of the game to remind me to avenge the Vigil mentor when I selected Priory. Someone probably triggered it but didn't finish it. Well I hope so

So tonight Syv left the village of cassardis, He had to know what's going on in the rest of the world, with a new enemy out there. He needs answers. Why is he still alive without heart for example... would be a good start... No idea what is the deal with the dragon and what does he wants about him. His voice still haunting him. For a reason Syv doesn't understand, the dragon, his mortal foe, is actively trying to see if he is worth it enough to fight him and hold the title of Arisen, a sort of dragon killer. Why. It seems to be an imperative for sure. As proof, a challenge was given to him. Beating a giant troll. Why not just kill him if he was a threat to it ?
Dozen of human soldiers accompanied him to kill that disgusting beast that threatened their camps for sure. They all died, the creature finally falling under the repeated and tireless blows of the native of Cassardis, alone behind his back, the only survivor of the combat. Bloodily, Syv brilliantly passed the test imposed on him. In response, his power was truly revealed to him and he was able to travel thanks to an immense magic stone into the original world of slave warriors and almost empty souls subjected to the power and the will of the chosen one who had it seems the strength to fight the dragon. They belong to him if he wants to. From there, he could bring back into the human world a few of these beings endowed with conscience but lacking in regard to their own will. Weird. troubling. But hundreds of them are already in the kingdom, peaceful, independent but without goals since then and it has been centuries they live among humans without anyone reflecting on their existence, their origins, their goals, their meaning to the world. Except maybe this hooded man coming out of nowhere who having observed his fight against the troll warned him today that he was not the first Arisen, and that almost all had failed before him ... Not a good sign. However he confirmed the suspicions that the mighty human slaves from the other world, the Arisen and the dragon were truly linked, but didn't say more of course..... Where to begin ? Syv becomes for real the Arisen, not only in title, after surviving the fatal blow of the dragon that stole his heart and becoming master of many mighty warrior and mage slaves from another magic kingdom. What does that mean and what is the link with the dragon ? Syv will have to find these answers so that he can learn more about himself and at the same time defeat the dragon. He has obviously a very bad feeling about it, his heart remaining in the hands of the dragon would be a terrible thing, even if he couldn't understand yet why. He had to take his heart back, his survival was at stake, no way he would let his death or worse happen. Tonight, Syv also met Issala ! One of these mighty slaves, and chose her among many others in the magic world, first just a random naked woman shrouded in smoke, kneeling before him. With his eyes he scrutinized her like he has never done with any other human, her hips, her height, her hands, her weight, her legs, her subtle movements. It was calculated. That's why she, and not anyone else. As Swift as a wasp, slender like a squirrel, nimble like a cat, as light as a feather. Exactly what he needed for what he had in mind : A ranger, incredibly skilled with blades and a bow, for hunting and tracking, someone who would cover his back from long distance or sliding quickly behind enemy lines while he was rougly fighting on the front with his sword and shield. Quick thinking, fast and deadly, that was what he needed. Thus thanks to his new power however limited, he also shaped with his mind her powers, her way of thinking, her reactions, her abilities, almost as if he was giving her life, like a god. He was now his master, she was tied to him to death. She was now at his disposal and would follow him for life. Disturbing process but necessary. He was the Arisen after all. He had no choice. And to be honest he would do anything to take his heart back. He even gave her, her name. She looks like a human, has feelings, emotions, can take care of herself, could be hurt, could bleed... but strangely has no independent will, no independent motives and goals, calling him master. He told her their objectives, to call him Syv and would treat her as a companion, and asked her to do so. He has no interest traveling with an empty soul. A difficult concept for her, truly struggling, but she is quick to learn as he required of her, and every day spent together she would come to realize more and more what that meant by experience anyway. Together they would find answers.

I'm STILL playing No Man's Sky... ugh. Or I'm playing AGAIN anyway. Mostly finishing up several bases. Spent the past 2 days uploading older builds. This one here has a music track most people here will appreciate.
I finally finished my disco base as well. Need to record it soon. But here's a preview clip: This was my first attempt at using the beat box. It's super basic because I have NO talent for composing music. I just altered a default track and then added a few more sound effects. I still kinda like it though in a silly sort of way...
Nice tohear some ME music again there noticed ther was some ME music in NFS Paybac kwhen I was watching some vids of it before I decided t obyu i twhen I noticed it was on sale. It's mostly music from Omega's Afterlife in ME2 but stil it's something.

Spent yesterday and today gambling virtual money in Yakuza 0 and Kiwami. Snagged the "Played all the minigames" chivo, which was neat. Cee-lo was okay. It's just toss dice, hope the game likes them and bail if you earn some cash. Koi Koi is rigged and evil. But the biggest betrayal is that the banging Koi! music is a bad move on the harder difficulties. Like the best part of the game is not allowed. Argh. Oichi-Kabu started making sense. Wont say it was fun, but fairly painless. Just need to get the last number as close to nine as I possible can. Good times. Texas Hold'em was the most amusing of its ilk, since I got away with two round just bluffing. Raise, raise, raise! Baccarat was pretty awful. Because I swear the game was taunting me with it's rolls. I bet on player, banker wins, bet on player, banker wins, bet on player, banker wins, bet on banker...player wins. But Super 6 was worse so... Roulette was insane, but then again that is it nature. Luckily the payoff for one number right was 36 times the bet, so just had to luck out once. Did help that Majima is filthy rich. Not as rich as Kiryu, but enough that the money I burned was non issue. Then today was Mahjong. (And a fair bit yesterday as well...). Did a smart move and jotted down the number of the tiles on a piece of paper and scribbled what combinations I needed to get as well. Then it was just luck and patience. Maybe there was some skill involved in the end. But it ended up being semi fun. So now got gambling and Mahjong ticked off the completion list. Still got too many teeth pullers left so completion is a distant dream. Did a bit of gambling in Yakuza Kiwami. No I don't have a problem! Haruka does. So used my new knowledge in Oichi-Kabu to appease her goals for that game. Then we went for a bibimbap which looks very tasty and got her a wallet to store her gambling money. Then she wanted to roll the roulette. Luckily there is a cheat item for it in Kiwami, since Kiryu there is usually pretty broke. Ended up having to grind for some money and found my favorite shoes. They mew like a cat each step you take, even in cutscenes. So I was very amused. Thugs not so much. I think Majima liked it since he just couldn't keep away from me. Even leapt of the rooftops to get me. Thankfully I can still semi reliably pull off a Tiger Drop in this game so his murder attempts were not successful. Also managed to open the final Coloseum Tournament. So now I just need to win a round 30 more times. Also need to learn how to win my nemisises Charon and Shinohara and a couple of more mystery men. But, back to gambling. This time hitting the jackpot in the roulette only took two tries, so that was nice. Next she wanted to watch Kiryu toss some darts. And her standards were even pretty fair. Just needed 200 points in three turns (three tosses each). And getting kinda okay at snagging a couple of bullseyes (50 points), so that request was in the bag. Three hat tricks will have to wait for better darts though... Then Haruka's hunger fired up again and she craved a shake. So went and got her that and completed the menu for Kiryu as well. And he ended up getting a free slice of Majima on the side . Except Majima had a bat and it got pretty brutal. Ended up having to stab him with a spicy knife. Dark times indeed. Her final request for the day was Cho-han. Which is basically tossing two dice under a mug and then you guess Even or Odd. Which is fine. What was not fine was that she wanted me to pull off 800 points in net profit in one go. And the betting limit is 200. So basically she wants me to clairvoyance 4 times in a row...Granted they do offer to double the bet and stuff later on, but it's a matter of pure chance so you can either go big or loose it all. So yeah...kinda pulled off the latter after managing 500 points in profit, then BOOM 1000 point in loss and not getting any luckier. BUT there are also cheat items for this. Just need to find them. But that is for a later date. All in all it was a fairly fun time and a good lesson that I should NEVER go within a kilometer of a casino. Since I have no sense. Luckily they are illegal where I live. The native word for it here is Spilavíti which translates to Card/Play-Hell. So I'm safe for now. Granted it can also be translated as Card/play-penalty kick. Which also fits I guess. Think I'll finally try out Fire Emblem tonight. If only just opening the game and eyeing the title screen with suspicion, fear and a hint of interest.

After beating the giant troll, being the only survivor, and traveled into the world of " pawns " thanks to the magic stone remained inert for centuries, Syv saw an immediate interest around him from the Enlistment Corps, an army of soldiers coming from another kingdom worrying about the dragon, all men murmuring about him, or proclaiming his martial prowess generously. The new Arisen. Already able to bend the will of mighty human slaves either to fight at his side, to help him or even do whatever the the hell he requires from them. And with Issala, he even did more than that. He shaped with his mind who she was and what were her abilities. She became her companion, her only concern for the moment being to keep him alive and to protect him. For life, until death, nothing would separate them. She was a part of him, he was a part of her, bound to live together.
All this noise around him of course led the Captain of the enlisted corp, Mercedes Martens to him. A woman quite pretty with unwavering will and a lot of energy. She anounced herself as such. << I am Mercedes. I lead the men of the Enlistment Corps. I've heard talk of the Arisen. They say you hold dominion over the pawns. I've ordered pawns to take up swords and fight myself, but they are a clumsy lot. I cannot call them into this world as you do, though, nor make traveling companions of them. What manner of magick lets you command them so? ...Well, it matters not. The dragon is come. I'll welcome any help, be it pawn, Arisen, farmer or fishwife. >>
Syv welcomed these words. He needed allies and influence. She seemed capable and was precisely after the dragon, just like him. However there are two kind of allies. Those that are useful and powerful, that could bring something onto the table as much as you do, and those that are as annoying as much as useless, taking only advantage of you, even worse, a burden that would let you down or put some barriers to your objectives. But since she only offered that he help without him being forced to be under her commands or to enlist, totally free, he accepted the deal. He didn't see anything that would make him refuse such offer for the moment, especially if he could take advantage of them and her information. She offered him to rest, they would talk more later.
Aaaaand already the next morning, that " alliance " had to be confronted with its first test... like just ten minutes after he woke up.. Things went wrong. Really wrong. Sooo today Syv had a hell of a fight with whatever you call that monster, thanksfully helped by Issala, two other pawns, Captain Mercedes and her whole entlisted corp. It lasted a lot of time, the beast difficult to hurt. It took the advice of Mercedes, screaming to Syv to throw an explosive barrel in his mouth and sink his sword in its throat where the barrel was being swallowed to finally explode and kill one of the snake heads, snached, the three other heads of that beast fleeing together with their unique body and leaving them alone. And Syv was thankfull for that, it was not certain he could have won this battle.... Now he needed to rest again for a whole day... His health not at best...

My Time At Portia
Fishing is definitely the way to get $$. Fortunately, the mechanics are easier than Stardew Valley. All it requires is patience and judicious mouse clicking to bring the wriggling fish closer and closer until it can be grabbed.
Spent plenty of game days cave diving because digging = stamina. So not much can be found in 15 mins / one day. The best food gives a one shot refill of 50+ stamina and that's it. The game doesn't allow another of the same refuel. Bread loaves only refill 10 stam points per piece so not much can be regained unless you sit the char on a chair. Regeneration is slow however.
I downloaded the mod that allows the char to access all the storage no matter where she is. It sure beats running to and fro fulfilling quests because some item was forgotten.

Syv first time I saw that hydra I was like "why'd it have to be giant snakes? Thanks a lot Hadvar!" in Skyrim's vanilla opening if you go with Hadvar he exclaims after fighting the spiders "giants spiders, what's next...giant snakes?" ...thanks a lot Hadvar (yeah, I do NOT like snakes)

Obsidian Gryphon Are you using the meals at the restaurant? Haven't played in a while but I remember being able to cobble a several course meal once a day for a nice energy boost. (Checked it and you can have 4 (not fourty ) courses that can add up to around 100 stamina. Grilled turkey+Seesai fruit mix+ banner fish soup and ice cream for example. But it's a bit expensive and you can only do it once a day.) Sophies Ranch sells a pumpkin pie which adds 0,50 stamina over 120 seconds. The level up menu also has an option to use less stamina when harvesting items and if you upgrade your items on the workbench it also lowers the stamina course I think. Oh and add furniture to the house. You can find a pink sofa in the ruins that adds 10+ extra to your stamina pool and a bunch of other furniture does so as well. Clothing can also increase your stamina pool by a bit. Of course if you've already done all that this advice is a bit pointless

GW2
My human Scrapper is at 70% map completion now and starting the "recruit helpers" missions sequence of the Battle of Claw island chapter.
I decided to go with Barron and Fero instead of the soon-to-be Pale Reavers (which I have done a few time in a row already). I always found it strange how you recruit Priory members for Gixx and Sylvari for Trahearn in the Priory version. In the one for the other orders, you recruit people outside of their orders (or in prison if they are a member) or not related to Trahearn.
All of these people end up recruited even if you don't do it, they all shows up in chapter 7 and/or 8.

Well, on one hand I narrowed down games I'm playing, on the other... I might have screwed myself But let's start from the beginning. I finished playthrough of FE Awakening and FE Fates. When it comes to FE Three Houses, I'm slowly progressing through the story. The moment Linhardt unlocked Wrap, I couldn't stop maniacal laughter. That plus three overpoweded units to choose from means total slaughter before they know what's happening. I almost feel sorry for my enemies. Then I remember this... ...and I don't feel sorry anymore. I swear it gets me every time.I also stopped my quest for gigantamax Pokemon in both Sword and Shield, because 1) I realised that even if I catch them, I'll stick to my old team and 2) I had to make space on my SD Card. For what? Here's where screwing myself part comes into play. Spring sale started and naive little me decided to check what's on sale. I'm not going to buy anything, right? Right? Riiiiight Look at that. Game that - with my exploration tendencies - is going to take ages to finish. Honestly tho, it was on my wishlist since I got my Switch.

When Syv awoke today, rested, a clamor of shouts and applause greeted him, from the whole enlisted corps of men involved. Even the Captain Mercedes did so, a smile on her face, as impressed as others. Calling him "my friend", she formally asked him to escort them to the capital, Gran Soren, the road being long and dangerous in order to present the head of the hydra as a gift for the Duke Edmun of Gransys. To convince him, starting to know him, in a cunning way, she added that the recognition of the Duke for his actions could even bring him another title than that of Arisen. Obviously Syv, couldn't refuse such a good deal from her " ally " and new " friend, " and agreed to his new mission to escort and protect their convoy. The Captain Mercedes proved herself a brave and skilled soldier, a good commander caring about her soldiers. She did well against the Hydra and seemed a nice person to talk to. Traveling with her would be interesting. She seemed to think as positively about him. << Good judgment, swift footwork... Impressive, truly. In any case, the Duke will want to know of this attack. I'd hoped to gather a larger force before leaving for the Capital... But a hydra's head and the Arisen who claimed it make up the difference amply. I cannot say what the pass may hold. >>But the Arisen had to deal with an important and personal business before that. News of Quina's sudden disappearance had left him shaken. He had to seek out the village chief to learn more of her whereabouts. A native from Cassardis, a merchant traveling between both places he met in the soldiers' camps told him she was gone and didn't reappear. It made him as furious as worried, a blow to the stomach. Hiding his feelings behind a calculated phlegm, Mercedes unaware of his worries left him wit these words punctuated by a strong but beautiful foreign accent , amused : << 'Twill be slow going with a cart. . I daresay you'll have no trouble catching up. >> So today, Syv went back to Cassardis looking for the chief's adopted daughter missing, investigated in the village, rougly asking everyone and not even bothering to be polite. With effective results, he quickly learned that Quina was extremely worried about him and she went to the Witchwoods, beginning her own quest to find a cure for the Arisen's affliction. What an idiot ! She left a relative safe place for a dangerous one, and she left alone, how stupid of her. That only angered him even more. He uttered dirty rude words against her. He swore he would have strangled her if she stood there right in front of him. Then he calmed down, stopped wasting his breath like a fool, and left too for the Witchwoods going after her with a hasty step, Issala watching over his back, very focused on the danger around him while he seemed less attentive, rather distracted. In these woods so many savage wolves, whole packs crossed his path.... They shouldn't have done that. Not today. He slaugthered all of them, until the last one like a demon in rage, scary. He had no time for them. After hours looking for Quina, Syv thanksfully found her, lost, disoriented, frightened, but relieved to see him. Wasting no time, walking towards her with a furious step, taking her arm rougly, just asking : << Why ! >>Removing brutally her sore arm from his grip, taking her usual obstinate face when she had an idea in mind that he knew too much, she replied stubbornly that she was doing this for him. She had to do something, she couldn't just remain at home doing nothing while he was in danger, fighting for their world and for himself. They argued in the middle of the forest, at night, and Syv came to realize that it was a lost cause, she wouldn't come back as long as she didn't see that old stupid witch she was looking for... Needing some important answers from her. So he just decided to travel the woods with her, as an escort. And they did fight a lot, Quina very useful with her healing powers however. Few artificial injuries if not none. Issala behind them watching over him as much as over her that seemed important to her master.. Syv could have severely knocked quina and made her sleep, forcing her to follow him back to Cassardis without any choice, but maybe she could help him after all. They found the house of the Witch, but not the witch. Her daughter, a bizarre girl named Selene that knew nothing. Her mother was dead, that's all they learned..... Great.... All of this for nothing. Thanks Quina ! Really ! But Syv knows how to turn misfortune to fortune, he searched and found a lot of good stuff in the house that he took for himself... several useful rings and a bronze idol which would magically strengthen him. That didn't seem to bother that Selene, just watching him silently...Hi ! @lady Nemesis, Hadvar this cursed soothsayer ! Personally, I have no trouble with animals that are wild. Just wild, that doesn't bother me. But wild AND GIANTS, twenty times higher, maybe a little. That's where I do NOT like them !!! Especially when they have several heads...

Started a new game plus in TW3. After arriving in Velen I made my way to Oxenfurt (security isn't so great there) and started playing Gwent against opponents with much better decks. Hilarity ensued. I don't typically use weather cards but with weak cards I decided to put a weather effect on all rows. It didn't happen at first, but eventually my opponent self destructed with some strange choices it cards played. ie. Playing multiple rank 10 none hero cards into said weather effects.
Then I decided I wanted to unlock the Runecraft guy but you need to kill some very high level Arachnomorphs to do so. Some 30 levels higher than me. I had a pretty good plan to start with and just needed to iron out the details. Turned out you really only needed to kill 4 or 5 of the Arachnomorphs, and there is a pillar for some cover in the cave. The combination of Euphoria, Aard Sweep, Quen, and Aerondight is a force to be reckoned with.

So ended up just eyeing the menu of Fire Emblem yesterday since the font seemed pretty tiny so figured this game need the bigger screen setup and it was too late for that.
Finished the rolls in Cho-han for Haruka today. Seems the betting limit increased at some point, since I could roll for 500 this time around. So did that, won, the dice tosser asked if I wanted to bet my winning in one on one against him, said sure, activated the Even Goro beads, guaranteeing an even roll, won and got the heck out of there with one task checked off the list. Still need to play some more since the game wants 10.000 points to be happy and I'm not in the mood. But Haruka was in mood for some Blackjack and I learned that the Blackjack amulet last for a couple of rounds. So massive profits there. Then she wanted to visit the Batting Cages and I got a sudden urge to do anything else.
So set up for Fire Emblem Three Houses and started the game. Decided to play as a lad since the tights the lass was sporting weren't vibing with me at that moment. But she's cute though. Decided to go with a custom name but have a hard time remembering it anyways so it was a moot point. But luckily can just call him Professor. Or bloke. Both work. Picked normal difficulty because I suck and classic mode because they must all suffer. Jeralt being the protags dad was a massive disappointment. Not buying the relation anyways, but what can you do. Haven't figured out how to pet the animals so just been staring at them intently, mashing the buttons to try and get in some scritches. No success. Went with the Black Eagles since Edelgard had an axe and I can wrap my head around what to do with that. But the others were pretty cool too. And unless things go terribly south I can see myself trying out their routes as well.
All in all I'm having loads of fun. Messed up on the leveling pretty fierce since I've got 4 mooks at level 10 and then around 4 under level 5. So that's a mood. Keep getting 3 of the lot killed but have so far been reloading and messing with time to try and keep them alive. Would be pretty awkward to kill half the class off so early and the other students are too clever to be recruited...
But still enjoying it quite a bit. Unlocked a bunch of dialog before quitting so they'll be getting their talk on in the next session, so that will be fun.

The sieges in this are amazing, even in early access: It looks great, how does the gameplay work? Is there a story to follow? Mount&Blade games are sandboxes/simulation/strategy action RPG games. The story is mostly there to help you get started in growing you army and explain the setting/lore. In the first one you could ignore it entirely and become a merchant instead. Or a tournament champion. No idea about Bannerlord though.
