Made less progress on my maddening run today, so no mood for Fire Emblem today.
Big mood for Phoenix Wright though. Finished the second case and then did two more. Highlights were bullying an old woman, making a literal 7 year old cry in court and getting the parrot to spill the beans on the witness stand. So very fun, very interesting.
Would have said I finished the game, but he pulled a HOLD IT after the credits and dropped another case in my lap. No idea how long it is so leaving it for tomorrow, but sure, I can go for more.
Game is really fun and I like the little logic puzzles. Also really nice when you start to "get" what the game is hinting at.
So, fun times.
And have no top pics for now but might pull an OBJECTION later.

Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition. The party entered the Peninsula district. The guards held the gates, but beyond the checkpoint escaped prisoners were attacking everyone. Corpse piles were burning on the streets. A servant of one of the nobles of the district told about tunnels, leading from the noble's house to the prison. On the way there, there was another guard outpost. The captain asked the party to retake the prison, because two random rogues had better chances of success, than the local guards. At the Tanglebrook estate we found the tunnel overrun by giant poisonous bugs. Lady Tangebrook's body was in the tunnels with a twin-blade +1. The party cleared the main floor of the prison. Neither the intellect devourer nor the Head Gaoler were there. From the OoC perspective. The level design seems a bit straightforward and combat-heavy, most of the houses of the district included 3 escaped prisoners and one container with 1-4g. Though, if I used the main gate, it probably would be faster. 2-3 houses were locked. I assume, there will be quests. The party died twice - the first time on two giant bugs, then on a gang leader with ~6 prisoners. It seems that out-of-combat skill checks are always 20s, which is very convenient. As the ability to rest almost anywhere.
So far so good.

Deus Ex HR
I picked up where I left off and dealt with the first boss. I didn't explore the entire complex before the fight because I wasn't very keen in going up against the robots. I don't think it's wise anyway since Jansen wasn't equipped for that kind of fight. I don't care if I miss goodies. Back in HQ, Pritchard wanted to talk but Jansen said he had to report to Sharif. It's a toss up which to go to first. I chose Pritchard because he's very adamant. After hearing what he had to say, went to talk to Sharif. I stuck to my guns and got him to fess up. After that it's on to Hengsha.
ACOD
Fiddled around with armour then went on cultist hunt. I decided not to do the minotaur quest because it isn't interesting; I can get the cultist without doing it. Same with the whatever competition whatever her name on one of the islands was going for. Dropped by the special vendor and got a new lieut for the ship. A pair of legendary leggings was on sale too but decided not to get it. Nothing special and it doesn't look unique.

Doom 2016
The first min and died 4 time - great start. Just fell down. Fancy death...
Finished the task of destroying three filters, after destroyed the processor. Found a new monster - Summoner. Thought Guardiands were annoying, now have changed my mind. Some upgrades: ammo mag, misssles (2 times). Two trials with SG and a Pistol: have longer staggered enemies (useful)and range AR missles. Found Rocket Launcher - had some fun with it, then switch to favorite SG. On the way destroyed several nests.
Now Olivia time. But later.

DragonKingReborn On my first playthrough I spent too much time wandering through Sarif headquarters and eventually was informed by Pritchard that hostages have been executed, and when I found them at the plant indeed they were. Apparently game keeps track how long do you spend time screwing around in real time instead of going on mission and punishes if you are too slow. Unfortunately they never use this idea again in the game.

It is a shame that they don’t come back to that. Although the “boat” has a countdown mechanic where there is a set time before everyone dies from the gas released by Burke.

Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition. Found the intellect devourer and collected its brain. The loot from the district and quest rewards allowed me to recruit all available companions and discover that only one can accompany me. I like that I have to look after only my own equipment, but a larger party still would be nice to have. The party reached the Beggar's Nest. There were a lot of zombies, one group of assassins, one tavern and one temple. Also two buildings to explore tomorrow. Cinderella Phenomenon. I reached the fifth chapter. The PC is reasonably adequate and likable, though it would much more awesome if she just tried to gather an army and retake the throne by force. But it would require skills she did not posses. Thus, breaking the curse was the only one available course of actions. Instead of learning how to become, for example, a baker. I went with Karma's route first, because the other two options were the PC's step-brother or a rather unpleasant NPC. For some reason, the fairy and the witch are not romanceable, which is disappointing.

Like Zeke, killing him in the intro remove a side quest from later in the game. You also missed out on another side quest because the hostages died. And in DX MD be careful who you trust...

I bought Charming Empire after trying out all five routes in it's Demo. Then suffered, truly suffered. It was such a slog, I actually considered keeping track of how many times she apologized for inconsequential things while being everyone's puppet. And even recognizing she was a puppet! Only to day things like, "I just give up I can get used to it." *Tears out hair* I'll do one more.route for sure, maybe 3 tops, but won't be able to make myself do the total five routes available. Wasted $25 as of right now.
Then I was like, okay. Got my refund from Steam after I returned Nameless. Will do the same "pseudo demo" of Steam Prison. And whoa! I liked my protagonist. I liked her cop partner. I met at least two people I disliked. The. The prologue ended and they put my character through homelessness, near starvation, near rape, captivity and torture and possibly even a ?drug addiction? Now I finally have a job. I think they had to make me feel helpless and desperate to really make it sink in. I certainly felt it. Definitely want to murder at least one person.SO. BAD. And my character isn't afraid to speak up. Whew!
Alright, let's ride

Wonder who the Pritchard would be since he was the only other besides Malik in Human Revolution.

GW2 Living Season 4 is just so good. Best storytelling in the game (saying that I have no idea about LS5). First it start with the not-dragon villain with the best monologues in the game. Then it shift to dealing with Kralkatorrik in very epic stuff, more epic than Zaithan/Mordremoth content. The last 3 episodes are super emotional too. It brings back so many characters and even GW1 references/things, but it doesn't feel like cheap cameos. Oh and you get your own hideout in A Star Among Us, with displays for a bunch of collections you can do (and yes, this include more books). I just finished A Star Among Us, and two more to go. Next I have to spend some quality time with Caithe in the Priory. They didn't want a known thief around, so the Commander has to play chaperon.

Not all are useful and just die quickly, though talking is still left. So far they have been reasonably capable and the option to change their tactics is very convenient. Really hope you will play "Hordes". That's the plan, yes. Any regrets about your class ans build? Not regrets, but I have not yet found any kukris+ and new feats happen not as often as I'd like. Just curious, you play on NM mode? What is NM mode? ---- The party successfully stopped the undead at the Beggar's Nest. This was the second time, when the solution (the magical creatures from Waterdeep) made the initial problem (the plague, the location) worse. It was odd that Lady Aribeth had not addressed anyhow the problems, besides the Wailing Death, that the citizens of Neverwinter faced. Somewhere at the crypt the party contacted a decease, which lowered my strength and constitution after resting. We had to return to the temple to cure it. I also found a scimitar +1, but was unable to wield it. Not a big loss, considering that Weapon Finesse cannot be applied to it. Defeated Bloated Dire Spider. Defeated Zombie Lord. Defeated Gulnan. It took two attempts. During the first attempt she somehow burnt the party. Date (Almost) Anything Simulator.

So far they have been reasonably capable and the option to change their tactics is very convenient. And whom do you prefer as a companion? Not regrets, but I have not yet found any kukris+ and new feats happen not as often as I'd like. Ah, maybe too early indeed. But the main thing "no regrets". Think it is one of the main things in games. I am sorry for this. I meant what difficulty do you use? "NM mode" - "Nightmare mode" - just the most difficult mode (now do not remember, maybe it is called" insanity" in NWN).

Really happy I left the final mission of Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney for the next session, since it ended up being the longest mission of them all. Which is neat I guess. First half really ticked me off though. The new characters didn't really mesh with me, the game felt really pendantic on what I should do, when and how. Actually did kinda like the forensic stuff, BUT I DID SPRAY THAT SPOT BEFORE, I DID! Last half was excellent though and all annoyances are firmly forgiven. Because the last trial sessions were a ride and a half.
Ended up starting the next game Justice for all. And so far, it's pretty good. I do not like the the Psych locks though. Mind them a bit less after I learned you recharge your "health" if you solve them, but still find them really annoying since they do require you to hold off on solving them when you find them since you're probably missing evidence, which has now suddenly appeared in the area you were just in, because of some seemingly random dialog. And I mean it makes sense, but that doesn't mean I have to like it!
Otherwise, really fun so far. Done two cases and they were both pretty good. Do have some minor disputes about somethings, but what can you do. So far I really, really dislike the new prosecutor and if Javik was around he could totally toss her out the airlock. So her writing is working. So fun times for me.
