Got started on Greedfall today, gotta say...it's not bad so far I rather like it, the ah...facial animations are a bit lacking but I'm able to look past that and that beast, I felt giddy fighting it, felt like fighting the first ogre in the Tower of Ishal for the first time from DA Origins all over again
Currently just landed on the island, met Siora and currently walking around a bit to get quests and stuff
I'll likely restart a couple of times before I get the hang of things, but its a lot of fun so far

Fire Emblem Three Houses. Rewound time and attempted Paralogue battles instead of lollygagging at the monastery. Was pretty surprised I got through Rumored Nuptials and Oil and Water with relative ease. Sure it was tricky, but I like had a half a head of hair left when I finished, so that was nice. Lysithea was still the one who came to the Goddess Tower, so if I didn't have other more nefarious plans I would just've looked at it as a divine sign for Daniel's future wife. Alas.
Tyranny Loaded up the game for laughs and made it further than my last two attempts. Got to the Scarlet Chorus camp and did the secluded village business and figure I'm at the end of the Echohall Bridge area quest. Got murder lass, iron man and old man in my team currently and not really sure what is happening. Figure this run will die here, because the fun I'm having with combat is pretty non-existent. But hey my anxiety regarding the timer is gone so that's a win. Maybe next attempt I'll finish Act 1 at least.

I'm up to 5+ million credits... Took on my first kinda illegal contract. This did not start nor end well I should have known that when it said "passenger may be wanted in star systems" that it means yes they will definitely wanted 100 percent no lie and they will make trouble for you . I'll be honest, the dude was offering up nearly 200k of credits and the greed set in So I accepted his contract, he didn't want to go too far away (this is where it really started to go wrong), maybe 5-8 jumps or so. Some other lady wanted to hitch a ride too, so I had a full passenger cabin. I could already see the money raining from the proverbial sky. Idiot me thought I'll just tidy up a few loose ends before I take these 2 knuckleheads to where they wanted to go, and it'll be payday. (insert volus kssshk here). Planned my route, (leaving the passengers for last because I wanted to hang around where they wanted to be rather than where I currently was), auto launched. Start charging the jump drive. Incoming ship scan. Authorities are not pleased I was taking this guy around and start pew pewing me. UUhh ohhhhh. This dude is causing me problems already and he ain't even cute! I mean I was only trying to be a little bit dodgy, he wasn't even a "wanted criminial" (that definitely raised too many red flags for me), he was just tagged as a "rich tourist". He could have just annoyed some people for all I know. So first time I've been attacked, and all things I'm meant to do, go flying out the door. Luckily I was nearly charged to jump so only took a few cuts and bruises hull-wise. But I did get slapped with a 300 credit bounty, and my projected profits are already dropping . This means if I turn up in a system controlled by this particular faction, it's gonna be messy for me and them. But mostly me and that's all I care about. Make the jump, and this little annoying red light on the side of my console keeps saying "illegal passengers" . Welp, guess I'm a people smuggler now. So being the stubborn individual I am, I thought, screw these guys, I am NOT wasting all my fuel (which is pretty dirt cheap, somehow I've turned into a massive fuel tight-ass because I'm really not keen on getting stranded in the literal middle of nowhere and I'm running out of time on the other remaining contracts) to go drop this guy off early. The other lady is whining at me that I'm practically a war criminal now and she is less than impressed (certain passengers have certain traits / requirements that affects their happiness - doing illegal shit and taking hull damage is surprisingly not let anyone have a good time). I need joker here to fracture his thumb muting her. Anyway, I do a couple more jumps, the warning that I'm now wanted in certain systems and that I have illegal cargo is not making me any less twitchy about getting shot down practically instantly. I'm all creeping around keeping a look out for the space police and trying to burn through these earlier contracts. Things seem to go fine for a while, and my confidence is slowly coming back. Until I leave a space station and they slap me with the ship scan again (I mean this is entirely my own fault I should have googled how to avoid all this to begin with, and probably avoiding high security systems was probably a better idea. Or not taking this guy at all ) Boom, 150 credit bounty (I had snuck around a different place earlier and paid off the first bounty (no more pew pew for me I had hoped), literally the last stop before). And there were 2 space po-po waiting for me and boy did they beat the crap outta me. This is where it really all went to shit - I was mass locked (you need to be 5km away from other big ships / stations ect to use your jump drive), so I had to escape the pull of the station whilst these 2 guys were beating the shit outta me whilst doing no more than 300 . I had put all my power to the engines, hoping to get a tiny boost to try and evade them with my speed and AMAZING rubbish piloting skills. This left me with little power to my shields, which these people were chewing through like it was an eating contest. I'm getting message after message from the passengers, they are probably super pissed. I'm too busy trying to not get exploded that I don't even check it. I manage to escape to the next system, my ship is mostly in pieces, down to 38% left on the hull. Surprisingly nothing is damaged, just perhaps my controller from mashing all the buttons. Both passengers want out, and will not be paying me and want to be dropped off at the next space station. And they will not be recommending me to their friends (they should be, we were almost toast at one stage lol). I really wanted to space the dude, he has probably cost me about 2k in damage and fuel, and I really want to blame him for this whole experience haha. I made sure just to be spiteful, that I dropped them both off at some rubbish planetary installation in the middle of nowhere. GOOD DAY SIRS! I SAY TO YOU, GOOD DAY! Never again TL;DR - Did not have a good time. Don't do illegal activities kids. At least not without researching first .

Red Embrace: Hollywood. I chose the Golgotha path and the main NPC, Markus, strongly reminds me of someone, but I can't quite place it. The visual novel itself is pretty fun so far. Prey. Restarted from the point before I killed a human and trying to speedrun the rest for achievements. It is rather ironic that the game suggests that empathy is one of the defining characteristics of humanity, while mechanically it is a (fully-upgraded) shotgun or a wrench (when the shotgun runs out of ammo). I'd like to discuss the story and the typically binary ethics of RPGs and the Arkane Studious games, but this thread does not seem to be the right place and neither are Steam forums. Reddit, maybe?
Edit. Completed the game, got "Do No Harm" and "I and Thou". For some reason, dragging an unconscious person into ethereal phantom's remains does not count as murder. I also discovered that Kasper's location is randomized. Not sure, at what point it is chosen, though.

Been playing the Outer Worlds over the last few days. It's pretty good, gun play and mechanics for combat are pretty basic but it def has a lot of dialogue and choices in quests so far.
Be nice to see what Obsidian does next as a big project now that they got some microsoft money.

In City Skylines... So while this game remains quite addictive...maybe too much so as it turns out. Some frustrations have started to creep up: 1. I am having a devil of a time trying to figure out how to 'specialize' my industrial and maybe even commericial zones. It is a bit amusing as much crap as I give my wife over environmental concerns I do want to do a better job of creating a more environmentally friendly city. IE I do find it a bit alarming how much smog and crap my factories produce and wish I could have more...variety if nothing else...like agriculture. But again it seems hard and unintuitive to do. 2. I am also having a hard time trying to build highways. In general my road layouts are...interesting. 3. This game does seem to have a bit of the same problem as civ, at least how I am running it ...I am not generating enough revenue to really build any of the new buildings that are becoming available because my need for districts and new zones is growing so fast that needs roads and stuff...and roads and stuff cost money. I am thinking of starting over maybe once I got the industrialization thing figured out. So yeah other than that I think my city is doing quite well. The only other issue I am having is I am not being proactive enough I don't tend to know there is a problem that is happening until its happening so then I rush to build the proper building or wait until I have enough money and then build the proper building. Also my budget surplus crashed a couple of times so I am having to niggle with the taxes and doing several things that I politically dislike. And I figured out how to expand my city by buying more tiles. On the amusing front two interesting notes, well three of them actually I suppose. Note 1. I built two Firestations by acident instead of a fire house and a police station so I ended up building the police station right next to the Highschool which gives me all sorts of amusing notions. 2. When a new symbol apppeared on the map I was like 'what's that'...clicking on it I discovered that a 'body needed to be transported' my wife informed me that I needed a cemetary so I sure enough found a nice place for a cemetaryand sure enough it dissapeared. It does beg the question though WHAT they weree doing with these bodies beforehand. 3. One of the issues I ran into was my sewage was not producing enough so it was quite amusing to see all the symbols light up as needing more sewage like a christmas tree...also checking on the pumping station it was quite graphically nasty seeing all that dirty water being poured into the river... I don't know think I may start a new city once I have the industrial zone thing ironed out if nothing else.

Divinity Original Sin Mystery. Yep, concerning the two MCs which I'm keen in finding out. Opened up two portals at Homestead which left more questions. Fought an old nemesis. Actually, he would be that in DOS II but since I know this char, he's like an old friend. I don't know why people keep bringing him up because he sure does not reward them! The undead enemy look pretty funny sometimes. I got an undead minstrel barping away on his bagpipes as the fight was going on. I had zero idea whether his warbling was raising his pals' hp and defenses so I had one half of the party concentrating on him. His bagpipes whinged away but he had one last verse to sing before he popped; he looked like a pink snowman with a top hat. Then there was a jumping green thing. Not sure what it was but he shattered when he was teleported farther away. Guess he had weak bones. Cleared Cyceal and moving on to Luculla Forest. MCs are now level 8 with better gear.

Finished Demonheart and Demonheart Hunters. The first one it`s a visual novel and the second (the sequel) it`s a small rpg with a linear story and a small map. Both of them were quite fun to play mostly for the dialogue choices and the interesting and crazy companions and romances. Bought the two games in the steam sale and it was worthy it. Started a new playthrough of Shadowrun: Dragonfall. I tried to play it two years ago but i got stuck in a quest because i kept dying even on easy mode so i gave up. But this time i`ll try a different build and maybe things will work out better. Haven`t played much yet: created a female Human Decker/Mage, finished the first quest, did a favor for the coffee shop owner, walk around Kreuzbasar meeting the people that live there and the team made me the new leader.

I finished Titanfall 2 last night and I did SW Battlefront 2 single player main campaign today.
Titanfall 2 > Battlefront 2 shooter gameplay. But that's mostly because Titanfall 2 doesn't force stupid "heroes" with stupid skillset on your ass all the time. Also, Titanfall 2 last mission was awesome, that smart gun is so OP, lol.
I also tried a bunch of other games on Origins access, but most of them ended up "nope" for various reasons. I'm glad I changed my internet last January. I wouldn't be able to download and play so many games that only last 5 hours but have 90gb of data (SW BF2 looks very good thought).

Looks like my run of doozy contracts continued last night in Elite Dangerous . I'm apparently a real sucker for dollar signs - apparently I sign up for any "get rich quick" schemes I can find. So did a couple of upgrades to old faithful (maybe I should name it this?), a nice little engine upgrade which cost me a cool 1.6 million, and something else which I've now forgotten, which was around 400k or so. Noticable difference? Debateable at best. Anyway, not the point. I started later than usual last night, did some fluffing around here and there and I spot this little gem waiting for me with practically flashing lights. Up on offer is a $2.2 million credit contract, this lady wants to do some sightseeing, about 4 different things. My eyes light up in anticipation, and I finally think I'm starting to get some decent contracts. And I definitely confirmed she was not wanted ANYWHERE I plan out the route, was about 8-10 jumps away. Yeah cool. This is tolerable. I can do this. I'd say this started about 10-10.30pm. Of course, my greedy little money hungry self accepts, and I whisk her away off to the destination, and pick up another lady on the way. Also another sightseeing tourist. Anyway, get to the place eventually maybe 20 minutes or so later, and take her to the place she wants to go. Now, stupid me, didn't read all the fine print (clearly I haven't learned from any of my experiences so far ). These places she wants to go? Yeah they're all not in the same area. NOT EVEN CLOSE . I'm legitimately dying inside. The next place she wants to go? It's 20 stops away. Grumble grumble it's getting late so I'm starting to low-key mad. At myself, not her . I drag my ass (and hers and the other tag along, who I am already starting to have doubts about, thinking I'm up for the same shenanigans here), off to the new drop off. She looks at this place, for I dunno, 15 seconds. She's done. It's like getting on the train, getting out at the destination, and getting back in before the doors close. I'm scared to look at the next point she wants to go. And for good reason. It's like 36 jumps away. I'm really dying on the inside now, and begging that my children don't wake up in the middle of the night and want me, because if I die in this stupid spacecraft cos I've tried to land on the sun, you'll see me on Australia's most wanted. And it will not be one of those "Jeremy Meeks" shots. It'll be like 30+ years on meth ones. I've uttered every curse known to man, and I'm only 16 jumps in. Then in my exhausted stupor, I remember seeing something about planning route calculations. Great success, I've gone from most fuel efficient route to the fastest. I am screaming for joy (on the inside only, don't want to wake the slumbering demons upstairs), and it's cut down the jumps to a humane number of 8. I've found my second wind, and I power on (and through my fuel, I've given up on being a fuel tight-ass to save my sanity), and get to the 3rd out of 4 destinations I'm going to. I felt sorry for this other poor lady, who is not going on the same sight seeing cruise she wanted, but hey, she's getting something. The second stop involved "alien transgressions", read into that what you will, so I figure out that's compensation enough for her. It's like 12.30am, and I no longer give a space flying truck, and her holiday is getting cancelled. I want to go to bed, I've had to move closer to the screen because I can't see through my 98% closed eyes, and I've needed to get new glasses for weeks now, but damn if I'm giving up this 2.2mil at this late stage. I'm in the denial stage, and I keep telling myself it'll just be another 10 minutes more (it wont ). She takes it pretty well, and asks to be dropped off at the nearest station. It's not happening, we aren't stopping until I'm almost out of fuel, which is practically every 4 - 5 jumps . She gets off, and isn't really mad that she is now light centuries (probably not a real unit of measurement, so sue me) away from where she actually wanted to be. At this stage, I'm deliriously hoping that once I get to the last stop, orginial lady will want to stay there, and I can start my epic task to get back to the original place so I can get paid. But tomorrow. If haven't figured out what is about to happen next, it's not good. I get to the 4th spot. She wants to go home. I'm so mad I'm not even mad anymore. I think I've reached the acceptance stage at last. It's 12 jumps away. I set my alarm on my phone and refuse to look at what unholy amout of sleep I'm not going to get tonight. We make it back. She's happy. I'm happier than her by now, because its 1 am and the finish line is in sight. I don't know how we made it, I'm sure I practically slept through a few jumps, I can't see anymore, and I feel like my brain and hands are working together on autopilot, I don't even know what my name is anymore. I get my $$, and I'm in a slightly better financial position I was before this epic journey. Never again. We'll call this lesson, read the fine print. TL;DR - went on the space version of dropping the ring off to Mt Doom in Mordor in the space of only a few hours.

I am sure this is a life experience you'll be able to pass on to your kids!!!!! Well there was this time I took this woman on a space tour........ READ THE FINE PRINT

I got Arthur to Beecher's Hope near Blackwater! The law 'teleported' in a few seconds later and swarmed me from all directions. That fox was collateral damage.

You probably played some highlights in the vault like Plague Tale, Vampyr, etc. I'd recommend you try the BF2 Co-Op mode. And the Starfighter. And Ewok Hunt. I don't know how you are with RTS types, but I just wanted to look at Frostpunk and then lost too many hours with it. You can try "This war of mine" from the same developer. There are actually quite a bit of good RTS/tycoon type games in the library. Into the Breach is also interesting. I haven't tried FTL yet, but it's on the list. While you are at it, go for the Anthem's campaign 😅

I'm going to play a bit more BF2. Me and RTS have a love-hate relationship. I love the idea of RTS, I terribly sucks at them. Saying that, I'm looking into Tropico, which is kinda a strategy game, but more of a city/country builder. And I was planning of doing Anthem's campaign.

And I was planning of doing Anthem's campaign. Plague Tale has straightforward gameplay. The stealth sections are not hard. Some combat moments might be tougher, but overall nothing really frustrating. The main thing about the game is how everything looks nice and detailed.
Tropico 6 is also on my list. Also I say RTS, but I throw lots of genres into that, including strategy and building games. Frostpunk is sort of a survival city builder. Only enemy is the cold. It's a tough game, even at Easy, but I love how good they captured the feel and atmosphere of an Ice Age apocalypse. "This war of mine" is kind of a survival simulator in a besieged urban warzone. I think it's inspired by the stories of people that lived during the Sarajevo siege. The game definitely gave me some food for thought. Mainly about what I will be stashing if there is ever a hint of a city siege (and it's not toilet paper).

Shadowrun: Dragonfall Went to a nightclub to find Winters but end up finding his corpse, some DVD and a new team member. Next step was to hired the services of Alice to find a man that disappeared two years ago but that will cost 50000 which means it was time to get some jobs done. First job: take down a group of metahumans haters. Dietrich said that his nephew had recently joined the group and asked to go with the team so i brought him with me. Helped some smugglers, killed the leader and all the members of the group except Dietrich`s nephew. Second job: tie up loose ends in a Pharma lab. Killed the Knight Errant security forces (couldn`t prevent the entrance of the reinforcements so it was a hard fight). At first i had decided to spare the shadowrunner that we were supposed to kill to finished the mission but after discovering he was a crazy sadist and the responsable for the death of his team i reloaded, fought the damn knights again and executed the bastard. Third job: help a maintenance sewer worker. Went to the sewers to find out why the turbines stopped working, was attacked by several feral ghouls and met some pacific ghouls. Ended up discovering that the Doctor had a contract with the ghouls: exchanging medical waste for their maintenance services, but he had stop fulfilling his end of the bargain and now was demanding money from the ghouls. Had a little chat with the doc and convinced him that it would be better for his health to start giving the medical waste again. Fourth job: Help retrieve Gunari's missing shipment. Convinced the Rabengeister gang to stop robbing our shipment in exchange for access to Altug's data taps. Money gathered so far: 28750. Screenshot of the day: cute doggie.

Did the Dragon Bash dailies, but as we all know the most important part of Guild Wars 2 is Fashion Wars so I spent some time at that and taking screenshots. Spoilered for amount of images. (the elementalist is kinda cheating since I'm using an outfit, but she's still leveling so I don't want to spend transmutation charges on gear that I will replace shortly)

My current (limited) experience with Tropico 6 is very positive (I can't say the same of the latest Sim City which I also tried but dropped real fast). I'm currently doing the first mission map which is to declare independence from the Crown without them finding out about it on a limited timetable. Selling lots of rums and coconuts...and gold from secret gold mines. Although, I might end up going sandbox once I "mastered" some of it instead of sticking to the missions maps. There is a lots of features and things to track.

Looks like my run of doozy contracts continued last night in Elite Dangerous . I finally broke down and bought this along with a few others at the Steam sale. I might get around to playing it one day!
