Tropico 6. So my El Presidente was able to declare independence from the Crown. And she bought her way out, there wasn't even a war. Ahahahahah. I might have won the war, but we will never know. I also had to restart the campaign because I ran out of time the first time, but I finished it with like 12 years extra the second time. Accepting term extension when pleasing the Crown over money is a better idea early on. Things we learn while playing. I could have continued to play afterward too, I finished in 1912 (map started in 1900 I think, took 12 years to have enough revolutionaries). This unlocked 5 more mission maps too. More El Presidente shenanigan to comes.

Looks like my run of doozy contracts continued last night in Elite Dangerous . I finally broke down and bought this along with a few others at the Steam sale. I might get around to playing it one day! I really am enjoying it despite all my misadventures ....and another one to post when I get to work later. Hope you like it!

I bought Pyre and Bastion on Steam Sale. Both were really cheap and I've been eyeing them during every sale, so it was finally time to get them (even if I don't know when I'll play them). At the same time I'm staring at my Switch, praying to Nintendo gods for sale that include items from my wishlist. Speaking of Switch, I'm done with watts farm in Pokemon Shield. Fiiiiiiiiiinally. Max raid battles are fun and all, but I never thought I'll need over 3 million watts for all upgrades

Welp, it finally happened. I got my first spacing In light of recent events, and trying to actually pay attention to what I’m signing myself up for, I only took on basic data couriering contracts. I thought this would be some simple ,relaxing money making. All you gotta do is go from one port to the other, and it’s all digital data so it doesn’t take up any precious cargo space. The good thing about these versus delivery contracts is, a lot of the delivery contracts have mission specific cargo which can’t get replaced, so if you get dead, then you get dead and angry people come to stomp on your grave because you lost their stuff . Of course, there is the usual warning which comes with pretty much every contract these days – hostile ships may be sent against you. That’s cool, everyone gotta make their living yeah?. Usually, this isn’t an issue. Or hasn’t been, as its mostly been only 1 ship sent to crush my hopes and dreams. I lucked out on 2 contracts, 2 groups of 3 ships came to play stacks on with me Normally what happens is they rip you out of supercruise via “interdiction” (aka flying around the place you are in really, really fast, but not as fast as hyperspace), you gotta try and escape from their tractor beam as such (think death star and you get the idea), and if you escape, then they jump out and you’re free to go for a bit. I was not so lucky, I almost instafailed the interdiction (will have to investigate why on that one later), and these people got to the point of killing me very quickly. I just managed to scrape out from some drastic defensive manoeuvres, and jump away to safety with 3% hull integrity left . All well and good, I continued on, fixed my ship at the next port, cleaned up a few contracts, and jumped into a different system. These guys were waiting for me like people waiting for black Friday sales. I had this genius idea. Thee guys were beating the absolute crap outta me, and I needed to try and do something to try and give the jump drive enough time to charge. These guys were going down.. So I fumbled around with the controller, trying to target one of the ships, whilst trying to get the correct weapon load out. Mashing the incorrect buttons did not help me one iota. Who would have though that? By the time I finally got the targeting going, I knew things were really not looking good. Shields were gone, and the hull integrity was dropping like my chances of Henry Cavill wanting to marry me. Then I saw it. These people had sent 3 pilots on “Master” ranking. (I’m ranked as harmless obvi). Me, who couldn’t fight my way out of a wet paper bag and who has less accuracy than an Imperial Stormtrooper They could have sent a crate of credits and it still would have taken me out! Then I got ded and had to re-buy my ship, minus all my precious food stores to take to a system in famine. Look’s like they’ll be starving a little longer. Maybe time to start eating the toilet paper stash and start drinking the hand sanitiser. No more. Time to git guud scrub! It will no longer be Star Wars: Seven’s New Hope. It is now Star Wars: Seven strikes back

So I'm checking everyday, looking for the date of the HZD PC release date. Nothing. So I guess maybe August? I looked again at the Horizon Forbidden West trailer again and try to figure out what the heck Sylens is up to. I think he's a neutral card, he could fall one way or another but given his actions in HZD, I'm hoping his head is still screwed on right. I'm super happy to see Aloy again. It's akin to my seeing Shepard again in the ME2 trailer those years ago. Funny eh? I never play the game but watched the entire game play. It says a lot of this game when I'm drawn in. The sight of the dark whirling in the sky with the red lightning reminds me of DAI (world ending premise). In HZD, what she is helped Aloy through the hardest gates. This time, I think she has to rely on her capability / ability to understand / grasp the scientific knowledge of a vanished world. It will be an interesting journey. Detroit Become Human So, key mushing. Easy, right? It's so simple. D, then S. Then S, D. D, S. Except that I was hitting A instead of S. I completely forgot there's no spacing between S and D. What?! I failed?! But I hit S!!! I looked again. Crap...!!!!! I did the opposite action in a sequence I saw on Twitch, because I though the char ought not to obey, and received an unexpected shock from the violence and result. Oh sh***!!! Cliffhanger ...

Tropico 6 I think I'm having too much fun with this game. The short "mission" feature really helps. My El Presidente arrested a Kingpin who was 30 years old, but I started the map mission in 1913 and ended in the 1960s. Made an alliance with the WWII Allies, the Axis even attacked me. They destroyed 3 of my (empty) prisons. Why I had 3 empty prison, because the USA representative told me to build 3 of them, turn into a penal colony and setup convict labor. it's actually a good way to no make your prisons money sinkI was also raking up cash, had 300k in the treasury and making about 50k per months and not really looking at my spending.

Shadowrun: Dragonfall Helped Blitz settling his debts with Meat Grinder. Blitz was in the Matrix and i had with me Hasenkamp, Meat Grinder's assistant, who turn out to be an assassin with orders to kill me once the transaction was made. Luckily i had gathered enough information to convince him that Meat Grinder wanted him out of the way so he joined forces with me against the remaining security guards and gave me the misterious box that he had previously stolen for his boss. Meanwhile, Blitz defeated Jürgen Plotz, the boss from the criminal organization that we were robbing, in the Matrix. In the end Blitz got rid of his debt and got a master key for all communication protocols. Next i decided to do the trial run for the Lodge and to do so i team up with three strangers. Managed to plug the camaras into the penthouse but one of the members of the team (the misterious elf) turned on us and we had to kill him, the owner of one of the apartments found us and i jacked into the Matrix to opened an hatch that allowed us to escaped the compound. As it turned out Luca Duerr had lied about the mission objective and the all thing was an assassination plot so i refused to work for the Lodge in the future. The last quest was a silly but funny quest. I went to Doc Xabier`s lab, that was in a quarantine lockdown for two years, with Blitz, Eiger and Glory to gather some biological samples. We found Philip the Knight-King of Sutterlin and his drones peasants, a researcher and the only survival of an accident involving a coffee soykaf spill that activated the quarantine protocol that locked the all place and released a basilisk that killed everyone in the lab. It turned out that he was a huge fan of a Slovakian TV series and was seeing that for last two years, one of the reasons for his delusions, so Blitz decided to download him the last episode of the series while breaking the quarantine protocol. Next we went to the sewers and killed Billy the basilisk, found the keycard that we needed and back to the lab we retrieved the samples. Outside the building we were confronted by some guys that claimed a patent infringement and tried to kill us for the samples. Seeing that we were being threatened the Knight-King of Sutterlin sent four peasants to help us making the fight easier.

Yeah I've done one playthrough of DBH but I' m definitely going back in for another. As I want to play again and see some different decisions and how they play out as in my first run most of the Androids ended up dead only North and Connor survived.

I bought Hellblazer on Steam sale. I'm very excited about this game.
Meanwhile I'm still playing Star Wars - The Old Republic. I finished the Sith inquisitor story, the agent, the Jedi knight and am in the middle of Sith warrior and mercenary. And I made another smuggler, because you can never have too many smuggler (she is my current avatar, Liya Soral. I just like that Firefly feeling of the smuggler story). The inquisitor story is just batshit crazy (I'm ok with that), the merc is a bit boring atm, the Jedi knight was a bit like KOTOR 3 from the overall feeling. I started a trooper too, but I hate playing soldiers, so this will be a hard one to finish.

Fallout 4. For once in a Fallout game, I've finally got around to having a character use a melee weapon. Since my character is an assassin type build character, thought it was time I invested in some melee perks. Having fun to. Sneak attack criticals, even got daring and did it with a mythic deathclaw. My weapons This was my primary melee weapon. Now I got this one in my arsenal.

I noticed Steam Point Shop and since I had a bit of them, I decided to spend them while I can. Got myself wonderfully neon pink avatar frame Then I went to Items From Games and - after scrolling for a while - saw profile backgrounds from TERA. And one of them is with Elleon, character I remember vividly, even though it's been years since I played it. There's a but. You have to own the game and play at least 2h to unlock items from it and since I played TERA outside Steam, I have zero playtime. So me being me, I installed it. I didn't think much about class, I absolutely loved my warrior and decided to play it again. Race was whole other story. After accepting questionable gear choices for both High Elf and Castanic, I spent goddamn 30 minutes jumping between character creators of these two races. But in the end nostalgia won and I went with High Elf, race my previous warrior was. Then I wrestled 15 minutes with "this name is not available" and finally Ellias was ready to enter the world. Long story short, I played thru new prologue (the one I remember is still mentiones), confirmed that combat is still damn fun, got to main city, wandered around a bit, checked if auction house still works the same and - after hitting 2h mark - got my background. I bet now that I started, I'll keep playing at least a bit more

I started up Detroit Become Human the other day to try and finish off all the flowcharts...but to do that I'd have to start from the start so I didn't bother. I think it's possible. Replay a scenario without re-starting. I'll check it out later. I restarted because I want the PT to have the "canon" story I want.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. The game works with Steam Overlay and does not crash. It is the GOG version with the Unofficial patch, I have the game on Steam as well, but it did not quite work. I've reached Santa Monica (completed the tutorial) and retrieved the explosives. Considering that the previous game I played was first-person-stealth as well, movement and combat do not feel as fluid and responsive in VtMB.
Red Embrace: Hollywood. I've purchased the artbook and the developer commentary book. I am yet to complete all NPC and faction routes, so I've read only the introduction. The reasoning behind the story being what it was is something I can admire.

Divinity Original Sin I want to save this char. Why can't I save this char? Is there a reason I can't save this char? Come on, I can save them. Regen spell, health potions, I can do it! Nope, the devs dictate that they die. Darn. I want to kill this Evil Bloke. Rained oil, boulders on him, arrows, smashed him, whacked him, rammed him. Barely scratched his hide. Aw come on, at this rate, I'll be at this for an hour. *glooms* Fine, going to search for tips. Tip said to set off the trap behind him and lure him into it. Reloaded. Ok, everyone to the trap! No, don't you whallop my mage when he pass you! No, don't you freeze the ground! Rogue slipped and fell. No, don't you fear my fighter! Frightened Fighter ran off to the east. Omg, come on, get pass him! Bam bam bam, my ranger was smashed into the ground. Ok, mage #2, teleport Evil Bloke. Beep!!! Evil Bloke can't be teleported. Right, ranger #2, get pass him. Everyone was blocking her way so she had to zig zag and got swiped. Ok guys, let's try this again. Reloaded. I split the party. Two rangers and the mage with fire skills. The other three, I posted them far away. Cast invisible spells. Get going people! Made it pass him, set off the trap but someone had to stay close to draw him. Chose ranger #2. Lost some hp but fire mage threw a fire avatar spell on her so she made it past the lava. Evil bloke stood at the edge of the lava. Come on, just one more step. Fire mage cast, rangers shoot. Evil Bloke stood there thinking...thinking...thinking when it was his turn. One step! No thinking involve!!! 20 seconds past, he finally cast a haste on himself and the round came to me. *sigh* Repeated fire spell cast, rangers shooting. Evil Bloke; thinking, thinking, thinking. A,I. passed turn. Rinse and repeat. Evil Bloke; thinking, thinking, thinking. Omg. Come on game! Evil Bloke stirred. ...yes...yes..one step...come on... YES!!!! He stepped into the lava and immediately died. Huzzah! Looked at watch. Took nearly an hour for it. sheessshhhhh!!!

I finally got Pokèmon Mistery Dungeon DX! I've decided to leave my protagonist as a Squirtle as the "test" resulted. And a Meowt as companion. I'm having lot of fun, and the artstyle is just adorable!
