Shadowrun: Dragonfall Yay, i finished the quest MKVI which was the quest that i couldn`t finish two years ago ! In this quest we have to acquire a Cyberzombie troll and survive several waves of Knight errants while focusing on wiping out the enemy riggers to stop them from taking control of the Cyberzombie (and this time i`ve managed to not get killed in the process ). In the end Glory disabled the Cyberzombie inhibitor, the troll thanked us and crashed his own head to end his suffering. The client was not pleased about the Cyberzombie death but paid us anyway. Next i helped Glory save the kids from that cult she used to belong. I managed to convince her old lover to help us and the three of us fought the spirit and Harrow, the cult leader. Once the battle ended, Glory purified the spirit and bind it into herself which saved the kids but allowed Harrow to escape. And i helped Eiger to catch the Enginner in order to protect Kreuzbasar. It was a bit tricky and took me several attempts to catch the guy and use the deactivator on him. Once we catch him, and after some interrogation/investigation, we managed to make him tell us the name of his employes and the location of a new rifle for Eiger.

Finished up the Outer Worlds. It was pretty fun, had a few rough spots here and there but overall it was a solid experience. Next game on the list is Metro Exodus, so will be starting that up later today

Picked up my old Skyrim save. I have Inigo, Lucien, and Lydia as my team. Inigo is the archer and lockpick specialist, Lucien is a secondary archer and Destruction mage, Lydia is Lydia (and that's the way I like it), and I'm a shield and magic-wielding "paladin" of sorts.
I have the difficulty set to "Master" to compensate for having a party instead of a duo, and it's great fun. It makes the combat (in my opinion) more engaging because I have to be mindful of where I'm swinging/bashing/casting, lest I commit friendly fire.
Props and kudos to Joseph Russel and his team who made the "Lucien" mod, if you ever read this, know that this gaming connoisseur appreciates the depth of character and interactivity you put into it. Seeing him grow as a person in the setting is very heartwarming. Ditto for Gary Hesketh for making the coolest Khajiit this side of Tamriel; Inigo's dialogue (and interactions with Lucien) make the game a much more immersive experience.

Gave Katamari Damacy Reroll a try yesterday on the switch. It was pretty fun, but kinda struggling with the controls so far. Tried the two sticks one for the first two levels and having troubles coordinating the moving of the ball and the camera at the same time. Started a level with motion controls and that did not work out at all (granted I was kinda twisted like a pretzel so the joy cons were probably disoriented). Should probably try the simple controls next time around.
Music was pretty much on point though, so can just jam on the main screen if it doesn't work out for me.
Think I'll just skip the post main story stuff in Pokemon White, since the last three tries have kinda all ended with me quitting in a huff and that's no fun.
Managed to nab the first Rune Factory game on DS, second hand. And kinda miffed because the game ended up freezing when I was juuust getting to the good part- Fishing. Why you do me dirty like that?! Okay, so I just need to be mindful and save often. Start up the game, do the intro, remember that I can only save in the house and not the menu, waddle inside, three steps from the book and- Freeze. Gosh darn it.
Alas there was no third try, since I noticed that the game was looking kinda dirty so gave it a lil rubbing alcohol scrubbing and letting it sober up until tomorrow. Hoping that it sorts it out, since the game is frigging cute and I'm not sure I'll even get a refund on it.
Also Mist is my kinda lass. You show up dehydrated and starving and she just tosses you a hoe and tells you to go tilling. Hoho. Granted she also gives you watering can to water the crops. And then she gives you bread and water in a glass. But got to keep your mind on the farming, all day everyday.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. I tried to destroy vases in the haunted hotel before the ghost threw them at me. It was rather awkward - the atmosphere was supposed to be frightening, but the PC was a vampire, a regenerating human-eating monster, so most of the time I just followed the ghost and waited for my HP to regenerate if I got hit, while picking quest items. Also saw Therese and Jeanette in the same room. It certainly was not what I had expected.

Divinity Original Sin EE I understand the reason for it but I'm hearing Alix Wilton Regan almost everywhere in the game. She made a good attempt to disguise it though. It sounds very odd when the MCs speak to two chars on the spot and both of them are voiced by Regan. I wish Larian Studios had got hold of Jennifer Hale. I'm sure she would sound totally not like herself. That's not to say Regan wasn't doing a good job, but it can be disconcerting sometimes. So. I ran into the twin of Evil Bloke. There was no trap to lure him to. I had to split the party up in order to take away his four boosters before pounding him. It was also not helpful he kept calling in adds then proceeded to change the landscape whenever he liked it. Still, once his boosters were gone, he stopped re-decorating the room. He's an arse poor decorator. Don't hire him. Rescued a major NPC and everyone proceeded to have a merry chit chat. And MCs were given their marching orders. Nothing new.

I never tried that first thing. But your impression makes me remember the first time I played this, alone in a dark room, at around midnight, with headphones on and no experience with even the most basic horror tropes whatsoever. It got better once I noticed that hilarity of the ghost trying to imitate "creepy creaky footstepping on wooden floor" in a basement where walls and ceiling are made of concrete.

I understand the reason for it but I'm hearing Alix Wilton Regan almost everywhere in the game. The more she shows up the less I like her. I almost can't stand Ciri as a result, and Traynor was already annoying.

Titanfall 2. It runs offline and has customizable controls. I was not sure after Titanfall 1. Red Embrace: Hollywood. After completing 3 faction endings and 1 NPC ending, I restarted with another NPC. At this point, I am certain that the game is trolling me and breaks the 4th wall. I know that it is typical for the genre to lock certain endings behind others, but it is slightly annoying. ---
Edit. Could anyone recommend a good (customizable controls) Souls-like on PC?

I actually like her so not a problem ro rme I thought she did a great job as Trayno rand was pleased when I heard she was one of the Inquisitor options as mos tof my Inquisitors use her voice. Even my current quizzy does that I'm playing atm.

TERA While old quests seem to be where they were, they changed main story progression. Key points are the same, they just drag you thru different locations than before. Due to exp boost I'm overleveled all the time, so I'm trying to do as little side quests as possible. Fortunately there's option to switch on quest markers on map, so when I decide to return to them, I'll have no problem finding where they are. It also seems like they made main questline easier to solo. BAMs (big-ass monsters, 100% legit name I swear) are easier to solo and all instances that are required for main story have solo versions. On one hand, for loner like me it's awesome, on the other... These quests where the reason I dared to queue for dungeon for the first time in any MMO and it makes me kinda sad. Anyway, got to lvl 40, crashed the game twice, put bunch of crafting items I've collected along the way in Auction House and fangirled when Elleon appeared for the first time and every other time. Got some decent shots of my character. Her hair gets pinned up automatically in certain armor.Told you gear is... questionable quality

Turns out third time was not the charm since this time around Rune Factory froze at the developers logo. Granted it did then freeze at the second developers logo the next attempt, but like, I can't be arsed to try frame by frame in hopes that I maybe can save in the end. So that is a mood and a half. Ended up playing Fire Emblem Three Houses instead. Played that crazy cat Daniel and managed to get him through Lorenz, Ignatz and Raphael's paralogue chapters and was pretty amazed how painless it ended up being. Granted I did look up the method of doing Lorenz mission and found two, either yeet someone into range of the final boss or turtle up and wait. Tried them both successfully and end result was turtling up with a tiny toss at the end. So that was fun. The other one was just a mishmash of ideas I cooked up last time I played it. Then steamrolled through a couple of months, with relative ease and am now in the final month of White Clouds. AKA the true start of the madness since I can't hide behind Edelgard's skirts any longer. I also remember this map being particularly painful, so that's a bunch of joy and happy times ahead.

Continued a year-old save with Surviving Mars advancing the terraform quite a bit. It is kinda slow.
I guess I needed something more chill after trying out Noita. Holy Nuncle, I'm quite bad at it. I considered refunding it but the gameplay and mechanics are actually good. You get to build your own wands and tweak the spells on them. No health regen and no health pickups between levels makes it super hard. Levels are procedural and slightly different each time. The mechanics are barely described - you need to look up how spells and modifiers work or fail until you maybe find out.

In City Skylines:...
So Highever is starting to do quite well its now up to 7500 people which means I can now do high density residential, commercial, and office zones. I also figured out how to do the specializations you actually have to 'draw' a grid before putting down the right thing...or you can always go and change a district afterwards. So I got farming, logging, leisure, and tourist zones going. I did actually start having a negative population for the first couple of times which was highly annoyingbut then stabilized it. Right now still trying to figure out the highways or at least 'fancy' highways. I did also continue to expand with the new zones. I have cut across the river with a bridge and am slowly building up the infrastructure I need before I'm going to put in all the high density zones although I have already been practicing a little bit. My wife also showed me how to upgrade roads and I connected one part of my city to the other to make sure all the services can get to the right places...and I built a trash incinerator plant.
In the amusing story category I ran into my first of a new issue today. People in my city were beginningto complain of low land values in my main neighborhood. I quickly looked into the advisor to see how to raise land values and it gave me the helpful hint of parks and other leisure sights and also to not build it too close to any pollution...which I guess the factories might've been a little on the close side. But I didn't have much of a choice since my area up there is boxed in so I couldn't doo much...until the building in question abandoned itszelf so I buldozed it and put in a plaza...land value problem solved. And I legalized weed. And the police station by the High school now has a fire department.

I sometimes have that too, I'm like "I'm certain it's [insert voice actor here]" and then I look it up and I'm like..."wait, what?"
It's the problem when various characters in a game share the same VA, like...Dagna and Bianca being voiced by Laura Bailey then again, I'd no idea Krem was voiced by Jennifer Hale until the credits rolled by
Though I love it when I play a new game and hear a VA I already know, but as you say...sometimes it can get rather confusing

I found a "dark beast" in Tropico 6.
It's called the Cold War. Where I only got into debts. Lots of it. Like a sinking ship. My "popularity" also sank, to lowly 30% for some reasons (my satisfaction ratings where not that bad).
I restarted twice that mission map and it happened both times. Reading online, it seems like it is a normal occurrence. The funniest part, the goal of that mission map is to become super communists. Which mean free lodging, free food, etc. I'm never going to be able to afford all that if I can't even make money!!!
I'm going to have to rethink my sources of revenues. Rum and cigars either don't cut it once you reach the Cold War era or I'm not making enough of them.

Shadowrun: Dragonfall I finished the game. The Bloodline quest was really fun to play as it allow us to play a non violence route (although in the end we have to blow up the place ) and it has blood mages and tranquil clones, it felt quite familiar . The quests after paying Alice were the best and they were the most interesting part of the game for me. That said, i was a bit disappointed with the ending, i mean the team managed to avenge Monika and stop Berlin from being massacred by an insane dragon infected with a virus, and the team decided to continue to work together in the future which was nice, but no matter what choice we make regarding the dragon and the facility, the ending for Berlin is always the same. But i`ve enjoyed playing this game, even more than i`ve enjoyed playing Shadowrun returns, and the companions were interesting and the story was engaging and compelling until the end. Still don`t know if i`m going to play Shadowrun: Hong Kong next or if i`m going to play something else before that. Decisions, decisions... Here`s a screenshot of the team with the dragon:

Playing a little Hardspace Shipbreaker. Nice little early acccess game so far. Played it for about 6 hours. Unfortunately it's now running out of content but the actual gameplay is really cool. You are a dude who sold their soul to a company to get them off Earth. For them to get you up the gravity well you now owe them 1 billion dollars and you have to work for them to repay your debt. You do this by breaking down ships in zero g and salvage usable parts to a barge, send carbon materials into a processor and metal into a furnace. To do this, you have a tractor-beam-grapple gun that can also shoot tethers and a laser cutter. But you got to be careful what you cut because the inside of the ship may still be pressurized and explosive decompression destroys equipment (and possibly you). You also don't want to hit fuel tanks and such, which means a) you can't get the money for salvaging them and b ) you may take damage to your equipment and health. Repairing your equipment, getting oxygen or fuel for your suit, getting more tethers and all that stuff costs money and you need to break even at the end of your shift. Speaking of shifts, you play this game in 15 minute shifts and you want to complete a couple of work-orders in order to get company tokens with which you can upgrade your suit and tools (bigger oxygen and fuel tanks, longer range for the laser cutter, better scanner, etc.). Now, this sounds stressful but at least for now, it's not really. in zero g, everything goes rather slow as you control just thrust on your suit (think Adrift or EVA in Star Citizen). So in the end, I'd call it a physics puzzler with almost some meditative qualities. My main criticism so far is that the ships so far are very small, simple and similar in their design. They are technically procedurally generated but all that means is that some details are placed a bit differently but the main setup is always the same, you end up always cutting the same plates off first, get between the inner and outer hull and cut there until plates drift away and can be processed. There is just not enough variety and challenge after the first couple of ships. But it's early access and hopefully we'll see more in the future. All in all, it's a pretty neat concept for a game. I hope we'll see this grow a bit. Definitely a cool experience in it's current limited form already.

Which is the other problem I have....I can't tell femHawke and femQuisitor apart when I use AWR's voice. Use this as a prime example! I was completely baffled in my first PT of DAI when Hawke showed up. I had no idea who was talking when!
Wish Jennifer Hale is in a new game project I'm looking forward to. Miss her voice. Of course I can play MET again but I'm rather burn out on it and hasn't recovered. Still. It has everything to do with the MET ending which isn't a cheery thought to entertain when contemplating re-runs.

I'd say play Guild Wars 2, she voices a lot of characters in there as well, one of which is the Sylvari player character
but yeah, I want to hear her voice again as well, who knows...maybe she'll show up again in DA4
