Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. I became the champion of the House of Valor (arena). The funny thing is that the only battle I haven't completed yet is against 25 sprites. They pretty easily stun-lock me to death with homing projectiles. Also the party for the quest line was quite enjoyable to work with - capable and adequate.

A few weeks ago I started God of War up again, deciding to do a clean platinum run on the 'Give Me God Of War' difficulty. That setting was a nightmare the first time I stubbornly dragged myself through the game on it, a dumb decision for my first playthrough that seriously undercut my enjoyment of the combat. Second time around it's a lot more manageable. Before calling the World Serpent to kick off the finale, I went through the different realms and just cleaned everything up. Slaughtered all eight Valkyries over two game sessions and ran through Nilfheim and Muspelheim pretty damn efficiently. Most of the Valkyries fell in the first attempt, and several of them I didn't even need the ressurection stone for. And then, tonight, after maybe nine or ten attempts, I finally tore the wings off Sigrun. Returned to finish off the story. Got a few nice congratulatory screens plus the platinum trophy. And the secret ending. Now I guess I'm set to do a New Game + sometime next year before getting the sequel. Story was as good as ever, obviously. I'd personally say it's the most polished game in recent memory, and the first and only so far to top The Witcher 3 as 'the pinnacle of gaming' material in my mind. Only thing that bugs me is that the narrative paints a very rosy image of the Jøtnar, or "Giants". As someone who grew up hearing the mythology wherein the Jøtnar are mostly a race of sentient monsters representing the chaotic forces of the universe, it's a bit hard to swallow that they're the only people in the God of War mythos to be uniformly good guys for some reason. Hopefully the next game provides us with some counterexamples. The Aesir being portrayed as a bunch of violent hedonistic sociopaths, and Odin as a sadistic control freak, is totally fair though. Can't wait to meet Thor properly, next year. Am toying with the thought of going back to Witcher 3 and doing my last playthrough over while keeping Geralt unattached throughout. It's just... a lot to commit to.

It's just... a lot to commit to. Its kind of hillarious you mention God of War actually given how much its been on my mind lately. Its coming to the PS5 via PS Pls and the 'games of a generation collection'. Now it might be a deal with a limitation on it but given that someone on DA 4s development team mentioned they were playing at as combat research my interest was officially piqued to look into the game and play it, maybe, one day, at some point. So yeah...how does the combat work? In Madden: So despite how much fun I had with it the previous day with Greedfall I moved onto Madden for yesterday and got two more games in. And it was a bit fun...surprise surprise I am up to 5-0 on the current season that I am playing. Lets see trying to remember who exactly I played. Ah yes ok the Arizona Cardinals and the Los Angelas Rams. And yeah the Cardinals I ended up being beaten like 50-21 or something. Edelman had 8 catches for 93 yaards and at least one touchdown. Mike Evans has been a good fit for me as he has scored Touchdowns in his first 4 games and it was the first game with him that I truly had him go off on, 6 catches for 135 yards in addition to the TD. Sony Michel had 2 TDs too I believe. Of course the highlight of the game was Brady hit James White on a gorgeous wheel route for his first TD of the season. White has been...kind of weird this season at just how inefficient he has been. I also solved my third down issues at least for another game by going 9-10. The Rams I was a bit worried about given they should have a somewhat competent team with Goff under center but I ended up beating them 45-9. Brady again was pretty efficient with 4 TDs. Gronk finally broke out on the season with a 9 catch effort for 155 yards and 2 TDs. The second TD involved him diving into the endzone to catch the ball and his momentum resulted in a score off of a low ball. Edelman who has been a monster this season (going into the game with 31 receptions and 7 TDs, at the point I am in my season that would give him...120 + catches and 28 touch downs if he keeps it up ) but finally kind of gave him the day 'off' with just a single catch. Granted it still went to the house off of a classic Edelman type play as he broke through one would be tackler and then led them all to the endzone and I had him dive for the last moment to ensure the score. Classic Edelman. White showed some signs of improvement with a 7 cactch effort and Cooks grabbed the other score... But the bad news is inuries have been pretty much piling up again. And White was the most devestating of them as he suffered an Upper Arm Fracture which...does make me worry a bit about his long term stats but yeah as I said this has not been his most impressive season so far, but he is still a great option to have for third down.

Glad to see I'm not the only one enjoying my sports games atm given I've been playing Fifa. Halfway through my first season so far on the new Fifa. Been finding this years Fifa a lot easier than I have previous Fifa's as I've even been beating Manchesater City 6 or 7-0 in a lo tof games so I'v ecranked it up from Semi Pro to Professional to give me a more realistic challenge. I know I have some great players like Harry Kane and Gareth Bale at my disposal playing as Spurs but 6or 7-0 against what is arguably the second best and probably the most expensive club in England Man City is taking the mic. Whilst you can get scores like that in football/soccer I was kind ofgetting scores like that every week at most you might get a good lucky score like that 2 or 3 times a season but not every week and especially not against a team like Man City. I do enjoy the new features such as the nwe training and all that. But I mus tadmit I never thought I'd be raising the difficulty to Pro. I did play one match last night on Pro in Kick off mode which I won by a more realistic 3-2 with a last gasp goal from Kane in the last seconds of the match so I think Pro is going to be more my level in Fifa 21. Been thinking about trying Pro on Fifa 20 as well for my next career mode there as I did find my career mode a tad easy there too sometimes. Semi Pro worked well on mos tof the previous Fifa's but I think on the last 2 based on what I've been experiencing Pro is probably more my level now.Especially as I felt I really had to fight for that win. I want to feel like I can win but I also want the AI to take the fight to me as well so that there is the possibility I can lose when I play. I don't want to be too dominant like Bayern Munich is in the Bundesliga.

Now it might be a deal with a limitation on it but given that someone on DA 4s development team mentioned they were playing at as combat research my interest was officially piqued to look into the game and play it, maybe, one day, at some point. So yeah...how does the combat work? The combat in God of War is hands-down the best third-person melee combat in gaming, period. At the highest difficulty it's just a continual exercise in frustration until the endgame when you've been shaped into an actual fucking god of war by necessity. But lower than that, and it's incredibly well balanced and both gratifyingly broad and insanely deep. You can go in swinging like a Viking Hercules, methodically manhandling scores of enemies back and forth across the arena with your axe, chopping them to pieces like you're chopping firewood, or you can beat and grapple and crush them to death with your bare hands, whether through straight pummeling or in a fiery rage that'll make mincemeat out of any single group of enemies. And that's just your starting loadout. As you go through the story you collect awesomely cinematic special attacks from the environment, improve your arsenal of weapons to eventually become a frenzied torrent of destruction at will, and invest in smaller but still absolutely significant upgrades and follow-ups to your regular attacks that expand your options both offensively, defensively and movement-wise from one split-second to the next. It's incredible. That said, God of War's combat is designed for Kratos, an actual god who is pretty much as strong as he needs to be to do anything he feels like. It would be really, really jarring for any mortal Thedasian warrior to bust anything resembling the same kinds of moves. Even after Inquisition already took several steps in that direction. If DA4's developers are taking inspiration from God of War specifically regarding the combat, then I seriously hope they're only looking at the pacing and reactivity of Kratos' controls and not the actual meat of it.

Interesting. How does ranged work? (I think i saw images and clips of Kratos chucking axes at people) *** In Greedfall... So I am back after my one day hiatus and I did another quest I am a bit familiar with from the LP. One I was a bit eager to see because I remember it always gave him fits. It was perhaps ironic that this is when I finally got around to also turning up the difficulty for the inevietable boss battle. So, helping out the Nauts, or at least Vasco with his 'loyalty mission', which was running around to investiage what happened to a missing ship of theirs...which was trying to transport a nadaig and it got out just like the one at Serene. The increase in difficulty has not been that bad so far it is more difficult and I have to keep an eye on things but I have pulled it off so far. The fight with the Nadaig was a bit touch and go because Vasco actually went down but then I stayed at range and finished it off with about 4 rounds from my arquebus. Just a quick question...how do you heal your companions in combat? I assumed if you drank a potion it applied to them as well...but I guess not. Oh and I did find my first skill point alter for this PT, I almost entirely forgot about it. O and next quest should be fun, I have to throw a fight in an arena but not die for five minutes! And I almost forgot after getting done with Vasco's thing he made a rather interesting request of the Admiral for me to join the Nauts. Now don't know if this choice will lead anywhere *eyes the Christopher Odd playlist suspiciously* but this is the first really legitimate just role playing choices in the game to this point, so much so...I mean the thing was to get a tatoo or not and I figured it would give me reputation with the Nauts and well it didn't and I really don't think that De Sardet is wanting a new family nor a tatoo so I reloaded and started over again. This will be something for another PT, if I get around to one...I do like how De Sardet, dipplomatic as always, turned down the Nauts in question though.

Interesting. How does ranged work? (I think i saw images and clips of Kratos chucking axes at people) Ranged combat in GoW is less an alternative to melee and more of a complimentary thing. The axe-throwing can be used to deal damage to enemies at a distance, and occasionally it's a necessary thing to cheese on the highest difficulty, at least at the start. But it's slow and boring and it's way more efficient to use it to freeze, trip or stagger them or pin them to walls with careful aiming and then close in with your fists or another weapon to take advantage, or recall the axe and attack before they recover. Or simply use it to kill weak and hard-to-reach enemies who use ranged attacks themselves, or to safely interrupt the special attacks of more powerful ones before going to town. Some of the upgraded regular attacks and a few of those cinematic special attacks that work on a timer take advantage of the axe's Mjølner-like enchantments to have it spinning around Kratos in the air or seeking out targets on its own before returning to his grip, and another weapon lets you freely target someone at a distance and pull them close to grapple or separate them from a group. But "chuck axe to disadvantage enemies in clever ways before moving in" is the primary mode of 'ranged combat' in the game, at least if you want to be effective and entertained. It's also your most useful tool for solving puzzles, applying force to turn out-of-reach objects or freezing them in motion. I still haven't completed Greedfall. Was really excited when it came out, but then lost steam some ten hours in when I'd upgraded my armor and greatsword the best I could. Have gone back a few times to restart as a female or ranged-focused character, but it just didn't catch me again. Hopefully I'll get around to it when I'm someday in a 17th-century/colonization mood again. Any game that begins with a beautiful naked woman cruelly abusing your junk to get you on your feet before allowing you to bully a snot-nosed brat who thinks she's smarter than everybody else, and prove the inherent superiority of Dad Legs, is off to a good start in my mind. It always felt a little heavy-handed for the game to make Ciri's hair entirely white in order to reinforce the father-daughter thing with Geralt, but I never appreciated how Geralt's white hair actually reinforces the father-son thing with Vesemir before. That's a really nice touch, if it's intentional. And shame on the witchers for coddling Ciri. I'll never forget her scenes at Kaer Morhen in the books. And that place is still officially the homeliest and most cozy-looking dilapidated fortress in all of Fantasy. Think maybe I'll pass on the cleaning mop hairstyle this time around, since you guys don't have the taste to appreciate it properly. Hmm. Guess that means I won't have to make a beeline for the nearest barber as soon as the world opens up for once, which is a bit of a relief. I don't think Geralt would really enjoy late 90's and early 2000's pop music anyway. Though I can think of a few A1 songs that would resonate pretty powerfully with his romantic past. Mop-heads for everybody!

Just a quick question...how do you heal your companions in combat? I assumed if you drank a potion it applied to them as well...but I guess not. There should be a mass healing ability in the Magic skill tree, Siora heals the whole party as well, and there are companions-only resurrection potions (I don't remember exactly how they work). ---- Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. Slowly progressing through the desert. I appreciate that each location has its own self-contained quest chain, but it is becoming repetitive. Found another small dying town. The locals were miners before the mining company pulled out, leaving the former employees. Now there are mostly bandits. I've cleared two of the former mining families, two left to go. The current mayor of the town gave the quest. It seemed that he still hoped to somehow save the non-violent part of the population. The quest required to steal a document from the mayor's office. The document was a confession written by the previous mayor that he had helped the mining company to cover up accidentally poisoning the only source of drinking water. And he had used assistance of the quest starter to do so. The second option did not work anyhow, the NPC pretty much just ignored it and I was unable to leave the dialogue. So I reloaded and stealth-killed her, thus failing the quest.

Horizon Zero Dawn According to the game statistic I'm 69,42% done with the game, which seems like the perfect point to end the session. Hoho. (A bit of a lie, ended up playing more and am at around 70%).
Also realized I'm a big dumb, since I was so annoyed the sound direction seemed to be just utter nonsense. Turned out I had my headphones on wrong. Whoops. Now if I could only find out why she goes colorblind in the rain my woes would be over. (Well that and find out how to remove fall damage since the most deaths on my part have been due to gravity. Odyssey spoiled me).
Been mostly having fun over the sessions, so that's nice. Also met Vanasha and her abs and that was just glorious. And learned how to wrestle down the birdies and bind them to my will. Now only if I could send them off to poop at my enemies and life would be just swell.

Vanasha and those ab's OMG. She's also smart and feisty!!!!! Yeah I have died way to many times from falling off things than actual combat!!!! Yes Odyssey spoiled us. Which birds the big Storm Birds or the Glint hawks are you talking about? Stormbirds are hard but the rope caster helps and tear blaster arrows are good as well. Glinthawks a couple of fire arrows will take them down, literally one or two willcause them to crash and burn. Stormbirds are pretty amazing

In Greedfall: Its funny that I was talking about a second PT of this game considering I was enjoying it enough to consider mayyybbbbee (though very unlikely) doing a second PT at least with a female De Sardet. Well that desire took (another admittedly lol ) huge blow last night. Though this is not to say I am not going to finish my current playthrough there is still a lot to recommend with this game...just the lack of roleplayability is finally starting to annoy me to the point of incredulity (which will probably have a huge effect on its ultimate tier ranking/ review thoughts...hmmm I wonder if I should create a tier list for RPG protags) The quest in question was Kurt's quest and what I am going to assume anyways is the wrap up for it. He found a note and wanted to go after the signer of said note because he A. has a personal gripe with the person and B. the person was involved in Torsten's coup. His solution to this? Burn him at the stake via the corrupt Inquisitor's who I have been constantly bumping up against throughout the game. Indeed I have to enlist Aloysious's help to do so, a man who is probably the second most vile person of his order...maybe even the entire setting. Now my morality is concerned I don't really believe as a matter of justice should be 'poetic', yes such things can feel nice but if justice should be blind then justice should be blind to such concerns as well. If someone is to die, if their crimes are worthy of their death...or if they need to be removed from society via ultimate sanction to protect others, then do it uicly and as painlessly as possible. Don't wallow in it. So naturally I, the player, would object to such a plan and I find it morally abhorent. And naturally since I am trying to RP a De Sardet who is admittedly loosely based off of Jon Snow (because of the games lack of role playing) I believe he would also object to this plan too. But naturally the game does not offer me an alternative or present me with another way of solving the quest. Now I am a little suspicious since Petrus was in the party that was why the plan presented itself, but at no point in the quest was an alternative ever prescrebied. And this is not the first time this game has forced me to do something against my morality or against my characters, and indeed something that is pretty morally reprehensible even from a generalist stand point its a huge turn off from this game and makes its replaybility shit....especially given that while the game is competent in a lot of its other systems its not as competent as say the Witcher 3 which despite its problems still has an amazing story and dope combat. And it gets better too. Because the next quest did the same damn problem. So first of all Petrus decides to lure the Mother Cardinal out of hiding and get us some blackmail on her for his own reasons. Now the quest says something along the lines of 'you have to last for five minutes in combat and then be defeated' but the objective says 'defeat champion' so finally, after two attempts I defeated him...it was all part of the ruse was for me to defeat him...now granted I could have missed something but I don't remember hearing about that during the quest so...ok. But in the course of the conversation it was revealed the PETRUS KNEW MY MOTHER. Now I wanted to tell him 'no dude its ok, I understand just help me find my family', something along those lines...but De Sardet was basically like that one girl "HOW DARE YOU!" Yes, I do understand that can be a motivation and I suppose it might be weird that my desire to discover my personal history overides any of Petrus's issues...but then again I do give him some benefit of the doubt because I find it hard to believe that he knew it was *me* at first, and that is a pretty heavy subject to broach with someone especially given that I just figured out I was a native in the first place. So I wanted to give him a bit of a past...but the game wouldn't let me...and then it had me forgive him anyways. *head desk*. Oh and Petrus loved her. So as soon as the quest became available I went over and met my mother's sister at the one clan with the leader who was kind of a sketchy dude for a native (which was reinforced by Petrus...hmm) and it was interesting and nice. Wrapped up by resuming the main quest and looking after helping Constantin through his pain, since I have the most respect for the Natives and their healing, I went there first and the village is having issues...as they are. The situation is giving me some Red Crossing vibes. So two final quick notes of interest one while the quest is not triggered yet I did notice 'Doctor Asili's secret lair' mentioned on the map in Hikmet...which is funny for 'secret lair'...and also every time I think I have hit 'rock bottom' for how bad a RP protagonist can be it gets worse. First Geralt, then Alloy, now De Sardet. Ugh.

The Men of Yoshiwara Kikuya Adult themes for certain.
Was released mid 2018. So I can't forgive some severe problems in it's attempt to portray some rape appearing actions as forgivable.
Childhood Best Friend: The first route I tried was described as a childhood friend that got sold into sexual slavery. I thought, aw. This lil timid girl would totally roll in the hay with a friend waaay before all these overtly sexual guys. Then I read a couple chapters-- but can't stomach it after he seems to eroticize her virginity? or something? Like, he's slept with countless women by now but SHE'S not allowed to and he goes into obsessively specific monologues about her not being tainted by anyone and BARF.. NEXT!
The Owner of the Gentleman Club: Iroha. He didn't throw himself on the MC begging her to be his client. He was classy and mature. So I essentially picked him for being the least predatory? I actually ended up liking the route. There was this odd ogre magic ancestry thing, but it was both cute and erotic when the narrative called for it, well done. Because of the ogre thing, he was even super skilled in hand and mouth work, which I highly approve of. Believeable happy ending. During this route, hoever, TWO of the other potential romance options attempted to rape the MC. One for business purposes and one because he was ordered to sleep with her and was so unhappy about it he decided to be a brute. So I scratch them off as potential interests of mine.
But what about that guy MC default liked as a hottie at the start of the game? #1 Gentleman of the house hmm? He's obnoxious but maybe there is a sweetness hiding in all that hmmm? Takoa #1 creep: You pick him. He's like, Duh cuz I'm awesome! *player rolls their eyes.* Takes MC to a room. Tells her she needs to dress nice to feel nice, STRIPS HER CLOTHES OFF IN SPITE OF HER VIRGIN EMBARASSMENT. He picks out several kimonos holding them up to her half nude? fully nude? form as if she's a mannequin. Finally decides, re dresses her. And then starts in on her needing makeup.---- I turn off the route and start another.
KAgura the educated samurai type: He's come off as a professional in all routes, as level headed as the Owner was. The happy ending seemed a bit sudden and tacked on, and the erotocism was lacking even if the relationship trust levels made sense. On this route, the young apprentice is very bonded to Mr Samurai, and I see a different side to him. I realize that maybe he's just a young kid who was confused and angry and maaaaaybe I can excuse his actions.
The Apprentice, Kagourou: Here's his second chance. His teasing mostly comes off as being a jerk. And also this weird dynamic of being both aware and unaware of his power over impressionable women. So it's almost like he's exploring his power in the way a child tests it's boundaries. The MC is too timid to tell him to fuck off, so I'm not loving it. AND THEN. It seems like the Owner and Mr Samuria have again come to the conclusion that MC and KAgerou should take each other's viginities. This is would be a good experience for Kagerou. He then again becomes rediculously upset and preceeds to force kiss MC, shove his leg between her legs, make her cry. MC is so loud about her distress that another Gentleman barges in stopping the rape. I should have just turned it off right here but I'm like...I dunno. Morbidly curious about how they'll justify this obvious violation of MC. AND THEN. It time lapses to the next day. And the MC has the following monologue:
"Yesterday..."
she touches her lips. Ï let him kiss me.
"But did I.... like it?"
Full stop. Fuck this game. I turned it off. Never turning it back on again.

So in brief went to Admiral Cabral and got the truth on De Sardet's origins, he is the son of a native. (*expected gasp*) And then Constantatin is revealed to have the Malichor *unsurprised gasp*. And then the Coin Guard launched a coup attempt against all of the govenors on the island and Kurt went to warn us *le gasp of actual shock* I mean yes I know it was coming but it was still quite well done. 1. I had literally never cared about De Sardet's Origins. so I was like... welp. I guess that explains the mark but I still dont care. 2. I seriously got horrified about him having the Malichor but I wasn't exactly surprised- they foreshadowed it pretty hard. I got more horrified and even more angry later when you find out more information. 3. Oh man, I had not seen that Coup coming and it was AWESOME. This coup and the finale are the two strongest moments in the game for me. Unfortunately, depending on how you've rolled your side quests, there can be a huge gap of nothing interesting after this until it ramps up again for the finale. So I hope you don't have the experience I had.

Unfortunately, depending on how you've rolled your side quests, there can be a huge gap of nothing interesting after this until it ramps up again for the finale. So I hope you don't have the experience I had. I mean the whole thing about Constantin was that it was well presented. Again saw it coming and never cared for him but I still couldn't help but get emotional with how the whole thing played out. Though again I did peak at Odd's playlist because I was curious to see how much more of the game I may have left (I know its stupid ) and some of the vid titles were interesting. And yeah the coup was the height of this game too for me at this point again the whole sequence and quest line kicked the game up to eleven, even if only briefly. But I think I may be running into the same problem that you had. The side quests I have done have been 'fun' but deeply problematic. I also wonder if in either of our cases if the coup quest elevated the game and hence our expectations of what it was capable of which made the subsequent content weaker. Though either way seems I will find out about the ending in a week or 2.

Aloysious's ... a man who is probably the second most vile person of his order...maybe even the entire setting. There some weirdness with that quest as you can get his entire order arrested and dismantled long before you get Kurt's quest. I always felt there was some cut option because of it.

Yeah that was the other thing too, given that I did that quest or at least I think I did that quest at this point it was also a little jarring...though it made a lot more sense on how Aloysious was able to escape death during that particular sequence. Ugh I do wonder if this game was so front loaded content wise because they started to run out of money, this game is legitimatley starting to behave worse then it was just ten hours ago and that is saying something since the game wasn't spectacular to begin with.

XOXO Droplets
The girl's obnoxoiusness stopped being amusing. And then the game turned into some sort of Click to Win mechanic where I can say "hi"to characters but then not actually see them on screen or interact with them in anyway. But it's fine, cuz saying hi to bob got me more points with the Artist's club? like...not what I'm reading for.
Mystic Destinies Serendipity of the Aeons
Oooooo. This is the game that said I'd played 20 minutes and I had no memory of it. I sat through it's introduction and suddenly flashed back to how stupidly this game was presented. And then just turned it back off again.

Ew). I wish it had never become knowledge my character came to know, and I couldn't look at Petrus the same way again the rest of the game.

Oh ya, I was also uncomfortable with how blood thirsty Kurt was on this quest, and I similarly would never have wanted to touch the religious faction at all. Greedfall was very weird with teh companions. I got to meet them, they seemed cool, and getting to know them actually just made me like them less.

Sigh. I'm not having great luck at picking out visual novels for myself. I guess going for cheap isn't always the best reason to get something. My favorite vVN so far was free, and I've liked some other cheaper ones too. But for the most part, they're duds.
Instinct
unexplained, you are a cat person. I dont know if you used to be a literal cat that transformed or if cat people exist. But there are two LIs, Mistress Evelyn (the woman who houses you) and your coworker/supervisor at the pet store you work at, Christian.
Outside of being a little confused about who this was written for (multiple semi-nude/panty shots of the female protaganist) there is also the issue of characterization consistency. A cat person reads some books and the internet and decides to trade sexual favors for information about her Mistress's mood> because she lurves her so much? Okay, she can do that. Make a fool of herself, show some cleavage. Whatevs. But Christian has the audacity to grope her at long length, even tweak her nipps, only to call her a fool adn to never trade sexual favors for such little things. What am I supposed to think? what a nice guy for taking advantage of her a little bit?
What is wrong with the people who write these things?

Still hitting "Play" on TW Warhammer 2 atm. Got my Karl Franz campaign to confederate up with Gelt and played a bit on - then felt like starting another Kemmler run where I noticed that there's units missing. It from a TWWH1 dlc - both games are weirdly tied to each other. So I got the Grim and the Grave. Looked a bit at the Vampire new units but decided what I'dd really need is flagellants. So I started Volkmar campaign, delightedly realising that I could have 3 legendary Lords.
Currently struggling with the income, but I just crushed the Vampire Counts and took Sylvania. Ardboys are again upon the Dwarf doorsteps and I might send help. Currently I have 3 armies: Gelt, Volkmar and generic dude parked at Marienburg to buff the income. Next up would be Karl ("For Karl" battlecry) and a relaxed expansion. once the harbours become visible I expect the credits to roll in from Lothern trade. Right now Sylvania buffs max. Armies are tied for a couple turns @sylvania with all that public order. Surprisingly I played like 70 turns without artillery.
I just didn't have the money. No handgunners neither. I like pewpew units. Yes, I intend Gelt to become ultimate rockit cheesemaster - what are you gonna do about it?

Glinthawks a couple of fire arrows will take them down, literally one or two willcause them to crash and burn. The birds themselves aren't too much a bother, it's just that I don't know how to use them (if you even can) after you've overridden them. Same with all the other machines. Mostly it's just override one and cross fingers and hope it wanders back to their buddies. Would be nice if you could use the lure or something to guide them in a direction at least. Or maybe it's just working as intended Finally have some pics for top spot. So my favorite time of day in the game. When everything goes pink for a moment
