Finished Tokyo Mirage Sessions #fe Encore and basically just feel like:
The final dungeon was quite tricky for my tiny peanut brain, but still fairly fun. The cutscene for the final boss was just perfection though! The starting one shot was hilarious and the whole friendship thing was so beautiful. And finally got to hear Itsuki sing, which was a long awaited treat. And oh my gosh Tiki is so cute. And oh yeah I actually have to fight...And my boss encounters usually have needed one or two tries... But got through in the first try! And won him with the power of Ellie and Tsubasa duo art, which basically finishes by shooting a massive heart at the enemy! So literally won by the power of love! Yay. And he has a second form... Well shit... But luckily managed to get through that as well. You get healed in between, Tiki gives you a little block the enemies damage for one round and I had like truck loads of healing items. So it wasn't too bad.
Luckily there was no third form or wait! There is more! Just the final scene of cuteness, the adorable epilogue and more Itsuki singing in the credits. Is this day good or what? So yeah, really enjoyed the game.
Don't know if I'll do a second run, because while it is a blast there isn't much variance story wise. But might up loading it up either way just to listen to the music. But going to have to start hunting down the next gem. Tried Immortals Fenyx Rising and it's just not my cup of tea, so putting it in the later pile so I can give it a more fair chance in the future.

Yakuza 3. Got 3 chapters left, so that's nice. Granted two of them are fairly long, so not out of the woods yet. But at least done with Chapter 8. Needed to use two continues during the chase, even with a maxed out stamina bar, since I kept getting stuck in the alleys. So that's a mood but far less rage than last time, so it was nicer. And boss made it all better, even if he was a massive pain. Because his cutscenes were nice and someone recognized Kiryu's beautiful eyes.
Got 11 subquests left, with 5 just waiting to be opened, 2 needing some youtube watching, long time and snacks, 1 being locked behind one of the two and finally 2 that are a big no since they involve batting and golfing, and hitting balls with sticks is the bane of my existence. That leaves one more, that needs the completion of all the quests above, plus hitman stuff and some training machine. I'll probably do the hitman stuff, but don't wanna deal with the machine. So probably just going to end up doing the 5 easy ones and leaving the others to the imagination. Or youtube.
But otherwise things have gone really well. Hard mode is not really that hard with almost fully upgraded Kiryu, Tiger drop and Komaki Grab. The latter something I've finally started to appreciate, mostly because I can pull it off more often than Tiger Drop and it opens a nice window to get some combos in. Combat wise it kinda feels like Legend mode might be doable, but then I remember the chases and...yeah no. Got three continues on this run so far and all of them are chase related. And all of them were getting stuck on walls, so.
But it's been fun.

Kingmaker
I'm doing another PT because there're no other new games at the moment. I don't want to do BG 3 again because I've done it at least eight times and it will become boring repeating the first act. Even when the druid class is added, I don't want to touch it unless more content is included which I doubt will be soon. To make this PT a little more interesting, I bought a couple of DLCs.
I chose human and the magus class, neutral alignment because lawful good is horribly restrictive. In fact, all the alignments are idiotically restrictive. If you choose black, you're black all the way and vice versa. Even if you choose neutral, you're locked out out of other choices that would reap some good returns. There's no way to bounce a bit here and there. I'm definitely no fan of the alignment rules.
I also did a quick run of game guides. The game had me do some quests in the reverse order, thus locking out some results in the previous PT. I'll have to make sure those are done in the right order this time.

I finally unlocked all the base career options in Warhammer: Vermintide II. I think I'm enjoying the Victors Bounty Hunter class and Siennas Pyromancer class. I'm wondering at what point I should move on to the third highest difficulty (the one past Veteran). My avg gear score is ~320, and most of my characters are between level 12-16.

I'm of a mind to try Vallheim; viking setting, survival, PvE, solo / group and it's cheap, below $20. I watched some gameplay and it looks fine for EA. Anyway in Kingmaker Claimed the region and became baroness. Set up the villages. This time for diplomat post, I chose Linzi. She was the curator in the first PT but I didn't give her any position in the last PT. That went to Bartholomew, a chaotic evil character. Most of his decisions were ok except for a couple. Especially one in which a deposed ruler and her son sought sanctuary. I chose Bart to resolve, thinking he would do it right, given the MC's Lawful Good alignment. Instead, to my horror, he duped the duo and gave them up to the evil NPC who was pursuing them. wtf, Bart. You just gave my kingdom a untrustworthy rep. I don't want to build a better relationship with a power hungry foreign ruler who usurp the throne. I reloaded and assigned someone else to the task. Bart could be good due to his nature to garner the best deals but he's the absolute worse for a kingdom advisor when it came to show some backbone and loyalty to the MC. In the last phase when everything went to h***, he ran and found a place to hide from the chaos. Will see how Linzi fare for this PT as a diplomat. For Councilor, I took Tristian. I won't recruit the evil chaotic NPC which I made councilor in the previous PT. She didn't believe in hand holding which is good but her beliefs definitely cast some doubts on her actions. She didn't run off to hide like Bart in the last phase but she did leave her post to muck around with her goddess; praying, whatever in her beliefs. She also advocate doing some bad stuff. I will have to rein in Tristian's soft nature. I decided against his advice to hold a feast for the commoners in the initial kingdom set up. I gave in to it in the first PT as it boost loyalty. However, it brought about the breakaway of a region because they were so happy and contented, they want to rule themselves. This time, I decided a feast for merchants; I want to boost economy. He wasn't happy but went along with it. Game guide indicate that a companion will abandon his post if his advice is not followed three times so that's the first strike. Stupid game feature if you ask me. Three strikes and he's out. I've no idea if there's any dialogue to discuss the matter but I'm guessing it'll be a short one akin to; I try doing my best, I gave you advice, you refuse them. I'm not doing any good since you didn't heed me so find someone else who's better than me. No further discussion as to MC's POV, his POV and whether they could come to an understanding. Nope, I don't think there is any such dialogue. For Treasurer, I chose a new companion instead of Jubilost. The treasurer post has always been restricted to one companion; Jubilost. There're no other choices. Another choice will appear and he comes in very late in the game which isn't a good thing for a budding country. However, the devs' threw in a new companion with a DLC and she's the alternative early choice for treasurer. I bought the DLC for this PT so I'll see how she performs. Her first advice is to increase taxes. I was caught in a bind; doing it so early when the country was just established. However, I decided to let her do what she will to see what would happen. All the other posts are filled by the usual choices. For the Artisans questlines, I decided to fulfill them all this time despite the dubious nature of two. Their quests are very half baked. I completed Varrask's demand for blood from the murderer who killed his family by straight up attacking and killing the NPC; this does not cause any alignment penalty. If she's talked to, then an action taken after will inflict a alignment mark. If the player talk to the murderer, she will say she's an inquisitor of Iomede and revealed Varrask's background, why his family was killed. I did the rightful thing in the previous PT and gave her Varrask's location. Nothing happened except failing a artisan quest. I could not conduct any investigation or a trial. The same with the second artisan when she was accused of causing the death of another due to underhanded business dealings by her assistant; he took revenge by cursing her products. However, in her case, she did not commit murder. I could not conduct any investigation for the truth. Stupid half baked artisan quests. Another half baked quest turned out to be written by a contributor; he donated the biggest amount to Owl Games. I read that he insert himself into the quest. A stupid quest by all counts. The scenario is a group of knights arrive at the capital to pursue a fugitive. They asked, demanded really, to conduct their investigations. As lawful good ruler, the request was granted with the stipulation they followed the law and not create trouble. They did not of course. Soon came reports of rough handling, beatings, etc, frightening the citizens of the capital. The MC stepped in and demanded the knights stopped their actions. Their answer was insolent so the MC ordered her guards to arrest and escort the knights to the border. Guess what. Nothing! The knights nonchalantly walked away, the guards did nothing. Thereafter, the fugitive met the MC and told a dumb sob story, tricked the MC to follow the knights and a fight broke out. The fugitive then thanked the MC who refused the reward. Fugitive walked away. An advisor discover the location of the secret village the fugitive was building and the knights had gone to get him there. MC and party arrived. The dialogue between knights, fugitive and MC was dumb as f***. I demolished both parties. Good riddance. Nothing came out of it (consequence in epilogue slides), just xps. Anyway, Owl games is due to launch another Pathfinder game; Wrath of the Righteous. A different protag and different events that occur at the same time as Pathfinder but in a different place. I hope the devs do better with the quests.

Yakuza 3. Finished my Hard mode run of it with 73% completion, 2 subquests left, S rank in Haruka's trust and many fond memories. And also some horrors I will try to suppress. Longer version in the spoilers. Kotaru the killer is a natural treasure. He makes the visits to HLA worth it. So yeah, finished the Hitman missions today. Was kinda amused that I had way more hassle with the second final guy on his own than when he and the boss teamed up together. Mostly because he actually attacked then instead of quickstepping around for like 5 minutes before trying to get a hit in. And when you're wishing a bloke would just stab you, then you got problems.
Also ended up playing through all the Fighting machine fights. They became much more fun when I found out loosing would not fry Kiryu's brain, so no big debate on whether I would loose progress or not. And while it wasn't my favorite thing I had a blast seeing all the little twists they put into each scenario.
So yesterday I managed to unlock the batting substory and found to my horror that losing was not an option. Then managed to win that substory today and snag an achivo for hitting between the homerun signs. Which turned out to be how I won that substory, since when you've got trouble even hitting the ball, getting double points for a hit is a massive boon.
Then got cocky and went bowling, which ended up being a very frustrating event. So you need to score 200 points to unlock the substory and I scored 193, 195 and most tragically 198. The salt was immense. So when I finally scored a 204 it was a quick sprint to the save-ing spot, I tell you. Luckily loosing was an option in the substory, since I was feeling super drained and just wanted nightmare to be over with.
Only to start the next nightmare of Try and Catch me. Oh how many tries. How many cusses. How much shaking. But in the end. I got him.
And the substory locked behind him. It would've actually been pretty fun if I wasn't dead inside.
Then realized the final substory before meeting Amon was the golfing one and the point where I was at in the game was perma night and for some silly reason they close the golfing during nighttime. Which is when you get the best hits. Har har har.
So went for the final main quest instead. And found out I was thinking about the tower Kiryu climbs in the 4th game. So that was a nice(?) surprise. At least it was way easier than my first run. And made sure to savor every moment with the second last boss. Both during his fight and final cutscene. Because a fellow going "Aww shit" each time Kiryu lifts the sofa is my kind of fellow. And just his whole line reading is hilarious. Sure it takes the tension and drama out of the cutscene and yeets it off the roof, but having literal stomach pains from giggling is worth it.
And that ends my Hard run of Yakuza 3. Going to leave the golf suffering for later. Maybe when I get to Saejima's bit in Yakuza 4 and need to mix up my suffering a little. Or maybe I'll just skip it. Started the Yakuza 4 legend run and currently just chilling with Akiyama and dreading being handed off to Saejima.

In Star Wars Battlefront 2
I restarted the singleplayer campaign of this game and got through the first two missions. I had an easier time of it on Endor but its kind of funny from my first PT I do not remember much in opportunities for stealth gameplay, but yet it is in the tutorial...so I will have to see if that will help. Also dying a lot...so that is fun. And this game does not have saves and weird checkpoints...hmm.

Fired up Doom Eternal but I wasn't in the mood for it, decided to give Rage 2 a shot instead. Previously, I had tried out Game Pass, its a quality service. Not really for me though. Figured I check out PS NOW, wow its game catalogue is weak, it doesn't even have a lot of the PS4 first party games. At least you can download games with it now, finally. So anyway Rage 2 downloaded.
I chose to play as the male PC, and it wasn't long before I began debating with myself as to whether that was a good idea. Haha. I watched some voice reels of both the male and female VA. My guy has one of those high pitched anime voices that seem to infest English dubs. He voiced Teddie in Persona 4 Golden, and when I saw that I died of laughter, because back on the old forum I remember that after posting that I was playing Persona 4, people commented that at least I would be spared the new voice for Teddie. Well not anymore... LOL.
I also had a good laugh 5 seconds into the game when a companion character storms in, Judy Alvarez is that you? Haha. Same VA, very similar in appearance.

Freydis is still going strong in Valheim. She's been doing a lot of exploring with rafts. It did take a while before I figured out what I needed to craft for the Knarr. Bronze nails. Anyway with a Knarr it is really smoooth sailing. Got my gear back from the runestone after some leeches destroyed one of Freydis rafts out at sea. Started a forward base in the meadows between some swamp and a dark forest where I have a very approachable elder tree altar. So with more or less full bronze gear it is time to take down that Elder tree god! Raise your horns vikings! We will drink in Valheim tonight!

The Valheim devs Iron gate anounced today they broke 4 million sold games. Sure it is at a third of the AAA price point. But it hasn't been a month of EARLY ACCESS yet. Crazy. I raise my horn! Freydis on a night hunt. After a night a attack of the restless forest...yet again was the fort protected.
That is one troll who regrets messing with Freydis, one of Odins chosen. 20210223184136_1 by prmjb, on Flickr

BG 3
I finished my playthrough with my tiefling wizard Miya Soral. She was mostly good with a streak of mischieveous and romanced Astarion, which surprisingly worked out, despite him most likely being chaotic evil and her being chaotic good.
I'm glad, I was able to finish the playthrough before the new patch arrived. The old saves won't work anymore and I'm eager to play the druid class.
Glowing eyes for you:

I wanted to share a house I made in The Sims 4, I'm very happy with it so there's a semi-top down and front view (plus the map view in upper left corner), upper image to the right is lower floor and the other is the upper floor
house has 3 bed rooms and 3 bathrooms, so capable of housing at least 4 people
from the front entrance you go into a hallway with a staircase, beside the staircase is a toilet
the kitchen is of to the left side to the hallway, and the living room has a big arch from the front entrance so you can see who's in front of the door from there (which also means I know when Vlad shows up so I can ignore him ) and of the side of the living room is the first bathroom from the living room you have access to the back garden with swimming pool and some stuff for kids, also place for a potential gardening area there's a patio that starts from beside the kitchen and goes around toward the back garden
upstairs you come into a big hallway/voyeur whatever you wanna call it, in the lower right is the second bathroom and there's three bedrooms, one of which has a small balcony so I tend to reserve it for the parents I'm currently using this house for a family I play with, I build it in Newcrest so that I don't have the pesky welcoming committee. It's build on a 40x30 size lot it's not very grand or fancy, but big enough for my current needs. I still have the big lot in this neighborhood left to fill.

Kingmaker Finished Act 2 for the MC, moving on to the DLC Varnhold. I read this is the best time to do this side of the story. Maegar Varn suddenly has a voice! But unfortunately, I find the VA light in his voice acting. Varn is supposed to be a veteran mercenary, with years of experience before he took on Jamandi's offer. I would put him somewhere around in his late 30s to early 40s. In the argument with an old friend at the banquet, he doesn't sound like an experienced mercenary nor does he sound impatient and earnest in putting his views across. I think the devs didn't make a good VA choice for this char. Pity. The MC for the Varnhold DLC is a human male, keneticist, neutral good.

Ok, extreme annoyance with Owlcat devs right now. The portal puzzle at the castle is not funny. It's not linear travel and there's a lot of backtracking. The map is not small either.
They've better not put such a stupid longwinded puzzle in their next game. One of their puzzles in the DLC also fizzled out even though I got the puzzle solved; no reward appeared.
At the moment, I've to get to the end of portal jumping. I think I'm already 50 minutes into this s***.

Kingmaker Varnhold DLC This is unlovely. I had some idea that Maegar would meet his LI in the DLC and I was working towards a good resolution in the epilogue slides of the main game. I found I just wasted a few hours playing this DLC because the LI is the player's char, not a NPC. I should have made a female char, darn it. Restart. grrrr Not going to play a kineticist because the full potential of the class is not realised for the DLC. Going to choose something that sizzles a lot of dmg spells.

as for the divider, it's a wall...the part where the front door is is actually a room (same goes for the hallway toilet), but then using columns and spandrels to create an open space the same goes for the covered porch area beside the kitchen, first building a room and then opening it up with columns and spandrels
that way when people come by unannounced and it's raining they won't get drenched...or if a vampire decides on a day visit they won't burn in the sun (thankfully at least in my game the three initial vampires aren't as stupid )
the walls are from the Get Together pack, and the doors and windows are from Seasons...and the interior is just everything and nothing from all the packs I have

(thankfully at least in my game the three initial vampires aren't as stupid ) I still find it hilarious that Caleb died in your game especially because he's supposed to have the perks for sun immunity
in my recent game he just walks past my house...Vlad just came by once, and Lilith also knocked on the door a few times so long as you don't invite them in they don't give that much trouble (except Vlad...who just enters unannounced when my sims are sleeping )

More RA3 shenanigans.
Me and two mediums vs a hard and two mediums, so a fair fight.
Allies vs Soviets, good vs evil, a classic.
The setup is somewhat rectangular, I'm flanked by the two opposing mediums, my allies (heh) are flanking the opposing hard.
So I have to adopt a defensive/expansion strategy. I get my Armor Facility up and start building a second MCV for the extra production queue. While that's clocking down, I'm training a basic force of Javelin Troopers and Multigunner IFVs to protect against waves of Twinblade heliopters.
My biggest advantages are that I have easy access to sea-based ore mines, so it's a relatively low-risk economic option; and there are only two entrances to my base, meaning Soviet armor advantages are mitigated, while my Allied aerial superiority is unhindered.
My biggest disadvantages are that I absolutely HAVE to expand or risk being completely boxed-in; and I have limited build-space.
I can fit my starting Construction Yard, a Boot Camp, Armor Facility, and Airfield, as well as enough Power Plants to run it all plus a few basic defenses. My Ore Refineries keep getting hit-n-runned by Mortar Cycles, necessitating the aforementioned expansion for a reliable income.
I'm able to get to sea unmolested and now have two production queues; I get a higher tech level and can now build my beloved Pacifier FAVs.
Between my Vindicator bombers taking out enemy Reactors and my favorite land unit out-ranging enemy armor, I am now in a position to go on the offensive.
By this point, I have my Chronosphere and a team of Mirage Tanks ready, so I chronoshift them to one neighboring enemy base and light it up. * * ENEMY DEFEATED * *
I fire my Proton Collider on the other base and finish it off with another Vindicator strike. * * ENEMY DEFEATED * *
With only one enemy base left, I send my Guardian Tanks (constructed concurrently and set to laser-targeting mode) to aid friendly forces.
The final Construction Yard is heavily damaged so I solve that problem with a Time-Bomb. Have a nice day! * * ENEMY DEFEATED * * YOU ARE VICTORIOUS (Awesome guitar riff)

meh, that's not even the rudest thing Vlad does...sometimes he also sucks them dry funny thing is that 9/10 times he contacts my male sims first (with that creepy 'your neck looks lovely' text of his )...even if they share the house with a female sim generally my sims are up all night though so he doesn't get the chance
