SWTOR Finished Voss. I like Voss, but I like Voss better when I'm not in an hurry to finish the place. Another planet where the BH story makes references to the planet story a lot. In fact , you learn the exact same stuff in both storyline, just with different point of views and final objectives...and I think Voss should just try to kill all Jedi and Sith. They totally deserve it for what they did to that place, but the Voss/Gormak forgot about it somehow... Next Corellia...the place where the Bounty Hunter is supposed to skip the planet story/side quests until they are done with their own personal story otherwise it makes no sense. The state of Corellia in the planet story on both Imp/Pub is the result of the BH's personal story final. The hunt for the Republic Chancellor has started...but first I have to do some politics to make him come to Corellia. I can't wait to be done with this, so I can play the content where being a Bounty Hunter makes zero senses. Ok not true, Ilum isn't that bad I think, but by Makeb, it gets weird as the BH doesn't have to be pro-Imperial at all...they are Mandalorian at best and that's basically in-name only too. ----- GW2 I finished the Icebrood Saga. The 3rd expac is probably going to release this Fall, so most probably not much until then outside the "activities" already announced that start in May. They really cut the corners for the last part of the Icebrood Saga. It started super well written and with interesting content and finished with annoying Dragon Response Mission where you can't hear the NPCs talking because you are too busy fighting stuff. It's clear most of the staff is on the expansion. My favorite part was Tami/Gorrik going all "We have research to do!" at the end, which is probably what will lead to Expac #3. And we finally got to hit on Braham. I wonder how the Dragonstorm instance feels with 50-80 players in it. I might try it, once they fix the reward bug. SWTOR New patch, new feature: Galactic Season. I'm not sure how long this will last, but the way it work you are pretty much forced to do PvP (either unranked warzones or GSF). As you can only refresh the dailies/weeklies once to get something else. I had an operation weekly (which I can't do because I'm not 306 gear) and it refreshed to a weekly warzones. I have no issue with GSF, but the drop in ability was noticeable in my match yesterday. I had a record of 8 kills, when before this new patch having 2 kills meant I had a great game. I also found myself doing one warzone, which I haven't done since the game launched...and I got like 2 kills and top medals. lol. I was also killed a few times in a row early on because I had zero idea what I was doing. I don't really like warzones. We also lost despite controlling two of the 3 things to controls. I still have no idea what was going on there. I also did the Black Hole daily for the Galactic Season which lots of people were complaining about despite it taking 20 minutes on Imp side (its longer on Republic side). You can refresh weeklies? Hmm, have to check how in case I get some silly Ops. I don't do Ops. My weeklies were GSF and Warzones. How do you get only 2 kills in GSF? Even back in the day when the pool was tiny and was mostly good players, I could always find quite a few low on health targets with no defensive CDs to gank on Anyway, yeah, there are more players and the skill level is not high. It's telling that I lost only a couple of game in the past 2 weeks or so. I can often carry a team by myself, which was rare years ago. As for Warzones - I also haven't played them much in years. Ever since they gave all classes too many abilities and broke the Huttball balance beyond repair. Still, I went in and actually did quite a few games instead of only the required 3 for the weekly. I was using a Madness Sorcerer, which in the current meta seems to be somewhere between "useless" and "easy kill". It didn't bother me, most players were on the strongest meta classes, but sucked big time, so I did quite ok. Proudest moment - on 30% HP, used the big bubble, waited with no teammate in sight while 6-7 people were also waiting to finish me off, bubble ends, I pop my blinding regular bubble, CC everyone and speed away to safety laughing while Overloading (with root CC) the couple of Shadows that tried to follow. That would have never worked in the old days. Also - people don't know how to play Huttball anymore. It used to be an art form. Even the simplest strategies worked for me. Almost no one tried to push me off ledges. They just gank me and try to finish me off. You don't do that in Huttball, you should CC/push enemy players, position and play for the ball. Since Sorcs in PvP are apparently rare, many people forgot Sorcs can pull friendly players. Boy, that was too easy sometimes. Btw, do you have to do all the daily/weeklies to get the full rewards or you can skip some of the stuff (without having to pay for it later)?
There is a little circle arrow top right corner in the dialogue after you selected the weekly/daily PO in the conquest tab. That change the objective, but you can only do it once. It's hard to get kills at GSF when your on a new character and have to play GSF to unlock skills/upgrades and losing means you get less of the resources to do so. Someone gave me a tip and since I modified my ship builds a bit, it's been much better. I also alternate the ships in a match to get all the conquest objectives about ship usage (which means I get myself killed/self-destruct 4 times). I played two more Warzones today. I'm not exactly a fan, even if get more kills in there than in GSF. And every maps is new to me so I have no idea of what I'm doing. At least, in the last two maps some people tried to "lead" the team and it worked (we won!). You don't need to do everything over the 150 days the season last. You need 800 pts and dailies gives 3 points each per day, 150*6 = 900. Subs can finish it in ~75 days if they do everything every day. F2P/preferred in ~116 days (going by people who calculated it). It's also legacy wide.

Not so humble brag time - I love playing new alts with no ship upgrades. Even have alts that are with purely stock ships - not even changing the copilots. Makes it all the sweeter when I still top the chart at the end 😇 Come to think of it, I actually stop playing alts that have upgraded ships the moment they have nothing to upgrade anymore. And current GSF gives more rewards and everything is at least twice cheaper than it used fo be in the old days 😜

SWTOR I forgot to mention that bringing Blizz on Voss (and Corellia) is so totally worth it. He has the best quest comments. Like on Corellia that big boss I was supposed to capture was trying to bribe me by hiring me: BH: I'm a money up-front kind of person. Rich dude: Not a number person, I see Blizz: Boss has Mako to run the numbers. So true.

BioShock 2Well I can really say that BioShock 2 has one of those great endings which really elevates the overall work, takes the whole thing together, and takes all the themes the game has been doing and really starts paying them all off. Of course it is not entirely without at least one problem or two but the overall effect has to rank among some of the best endings in history and it goes a long way to making BioShock 2 one of my favorite games of all time. It gets really emotional there as you watch Lamb kill, even briefly, her own daughter. But then it just gets pure and utterly cool as you give Eleanor the stuff she needs in order to make her into her own Big Sister. Then together you absoletly can wreck everything in your path and she actually has quite a few nifty abilities of her own and comes out pretty fully kitted, even compared to the other Big Sisters you run into, as you just tear into one Splicer after another. Then tension begins to rise as Lamb continues to cut off your means of escape, subverting Sinclair into a Big Daddy and then starting to detonate charges as you are trying to escape threatening to send the building into the abyss and killing them all. Are you going to play Minerva's Den too? Personally I thought the storyline of that DLC was even better than the main game, which I also thought as a title which didn't get as much love as it should have.

Went back to A Plague Tale: Innocence and finished off all the Steam achievements. The game also has a photo mode; don’t remember if that was included at launch. Overall just a great linear game. Very simple combat and stealth mechanics but I enjoy the characters as well as the setting and can feel the care Asobo put into it.
Here are two screenshots using photo mode, which was a bit janky to work with.

Stardew Valley Got Joja Co. Member of the year achivo and a neat soda machine as a bonus. So guess I don't need to touch that save ever again. Not that it was a bad save, I just like the little apple people. But it was a nice change of pace to be able to just sell everything. Might try it again and try to push for more of a theme, make it interesting and all that. Or just keep this one around and keep messing with it I guess. Anyways, it was fun.

Are you going to play Minerva's Den too? Personally I thought the storyline of that DLC was even better than the main game, which I also thought as a title which didn't get as much love as it should have. Probably not. I do not remember really enjoying Minearva's Den too much but then if circumstances allow i might circle back to it. BioShock 2I finished the game. And while I do love the ending I am a little bit confused about the final sequence. Eleanor and Delta are rolling down the corridor trying to get out of the facility before it finally explodes and sends them careening. Eleanor is in the lead...they round the corner to come face to face with a bunch of explosive crates...then boom. Eleanor seemingly teleports Delta away and they rise to the surface...but then Eleanor is alive...and Delta is the one to die. Though its OK because she sucks up his essence and they move on. But at least the next group of Little Sisters are all saved as they all go out to change the world. I must say in hindsight one surprising thing about the ending to this game is...well if BioShock has one definitive quality as a franchise its probably its anti-extremism. No matter the ideology if there is a theme to these games is that extremism in the pursuit of any ideology is almost never a virtue and can lead to a lot of pain and suffering of the individual people involved. And yet despite this, this game here probably comes the closest to taking an ideological side in any of this...because Eleanor chooses a side and makes a very much of an ideological stand against what her mother stood for. And her mother also rejected her on ideological grounds, always bemoaning how Delta had corrupted her, and even trying to kill her for rejecting her. Booker and Jack both were purely involved in the conflict thanks to their connection to Elizabeth and the Little Sisters, they never really had an ideological stake. But interestingly enough in choosing to directly reject her mothers collectovist utopia and embrace Subject Delta and her own sense of self the ideology she ended up choosing was more along the lines of...Andrew Ryan. Now I do stress Ryan was a fallen extremist, his sense of individualism went to such extremes he ended up hijacking himself and his plans for the City. But, Eleanor did choose something very much akin to it...food for thought if nothing else. BioShock InfiniteSo booted up the next game in the series and a bit of an annoying concern but the DLC bit was grayed out and I could not select it. Now I vaguely remember something like this happened last time and I know I have played Burial at Sea the last time before...so yeah going to have to look it up I suppose or hopefully someone has a good answer for me. Anyways though the other thing is the 'not able to manually save' has already crept up and the introduction it takes awhile for it to drop its first save. Other than that as much as BioShock 2 had the gold standard of video game endings, well among them, BioShock Infinte is THE gold standard for video game intros. I haven't gotten to the really juicy part yet of it so I guess cannot go into too much detail...but I guess to tease it I have been paying attention this time and you do not run into a single black face. Including the shoe shiner...which you'd think that is where you would have a black man appear given the society but then again maybe that would be considered a more...prestige...job. Also the reveal about 'AD' was a lot later then I thought it was, the Luteces are amazing, and also getting possession as your first actual vigor is kinda interesting.

SWTOR If you don't do any side quests on Corellia, the BH story goes by rather fast. I captured a bunch of people. Darth Tormen had them sign a secession paper...which lead to the Republic being unhappy. Which lead to the Chancellor showing up. Well first, his buddy who's been smearing me showed up. He died trying to kill me. Just like all his friends. Turns out he was the Jedi Order Battlemaster ( The BH is the only reasons the Jedi Knight gets the title). After that, my BH got to meet with the Chancellor. He was all "it was a grave abuse of power what happened to you". Yeah, yeah, just die old man. He was just trying to weasel his way out of justice. Now my class story is done. I told Tormen that I wasn't his personal bounty hunter, but he can always call to give me jobs. Class story done. ----- GW2 Anet just published info about the balance patch coming on May 11th. They are . You can tell they don't play the classes, they just base their decisions on how many players play specific builds. I also did a few more story step on my Norn Renegade. I'm not sure if she will ever get very far into it. Technically, in like 2-3 weeks I'm going to be playing Mass Effect Legendary anyhow. She just finished helping the Ogres. Now the Claw Island storyline will start.

Mus tadmit reading you pl;aying Bioshock has made me think about given the games another go myself as I have them as well. Been playing moer Fifa lately in my Fifa 20 career as Paderborn. Doing quiet well at the halfway stage of the season. I've yet t owin any trophies in m ycurrent save with Paderborn bu twith giants like Bayern Munich and Borrussia Dortmund in my way it's not surprising as they are tough to beat but we are sitting 3rd/4th in the league on a similar number of points as Dortmund whereas Bayern does seem t ob eslightly running away with it as they'er kind of 4 o r5 points up the road as things stand. We've managed to make the quarter finals of the domestic cup the DFB Pokal and I made it through the group stages of the Europa league and play Benfica in the first knockout round in that. Also noticed Bayern dropped out of the Champions Leagu eand into the Europa League damn club this German tea. This was my best chance at lifting a trophy at Paderborn and they're about to try and ruin it? Not on my watch as if I didn' thav eenough problems trying to compete with them at domestic level. Almost feels like the games trying to tell me something. Join a bigger club if you want trophies. Still lookin gforward to seeing what happens in th esecond half of the season and seeing if I finally will lift one not going to be easy either way.

SWTOR
I did the Directive 7 flashpoint and I have no idea why it is considered part of the story. It's just crazy droids pretending to be fighting for freedom while calling the genocides of all organics. All the other story flashpoint are related to Moff Kilran/Malgus (Kilran works for Malgus)...it's a bit weird.
After that, I finished my daily and galactic fighter weekly and finally started Ilum storyline. I had totally forgotten that the Imps character had the chance to kill Master Kaedan. You know, the racist master Jedi from the Consular Tython storyline. Yeah, him. Dead now. Bye. bye. Somewhat ironic that the Moff giving me orders on the Imp side is also a racist. Oh and Malgus is starting to annoy him. Malgus is an alien lover...but that's not really why he's starting to annoy the Moff.
Why can't we join Malgus?

BioShock InfiniteSo it seems the DLC issue has sorted itself out. Huh. Well as I said the intoduction to this game is just amazing. Here you are, just surrounded by all this fun, and then the camera just sort of goes into slow mo as the white and black couple gets dragged out for you to throw the ball at. Which of course I never do, I know what happens, "do you take your coffee black these days?" just such an amazing moment. Of course this begs the question though does this happen *every* year on the raffle day or what? I mean I imagine that love finds a way regardless but what do they just wait on some random couple to drag out for this day or something? Of course this is also when all hell breaks loose and everyone starts attacking Booker with reckless and gay abandon. I did have a little bit of a panic attack because I chose to play this game on 'medium' difficulty...unlike the last two games which I have been playing on Easy...because I rememebered it as being easier then the other 2. But there I was and shit was going down and I flashed back to my first time playing the game and having trouble with the first fireman...which caused me to turn the difficulty down. So I was prepared to do the same...but no I got it. And I have not died yet. On this note to the combat in this game is really enjoyable so far and really each game seems to get better and better, though it was a weird decision to not give you med kits anymore that you store and then can use on command. Same with the salts. Still despite having health bar based combat I always appreciate how quickly you can kill these people. Haven't faced a handyman yet but the opponents feel realistically human in how you can kill them with pretty much a burst or two. The enemies in BioShock and BioShock 2 felt a lot more grindy. This also does beg the question though with exactly how this works. Because you run into the Luteces and they asked Booker to flip a coin and it comes down heads, and on their board is a bunch of heads. The theory is that this is how many times they have asked Booker to do this, how many Bookers there are in the multi verse doing this, but...I mean I suppose this is obvious...but it just boggles the possibility that each Booker from the multi verse goes to a different Columbia in the multiverse all of them giving up their daughter to Comstock because well yeah... this game is wild though. I also always get a crack up when they try and describe Booker out there 'a mulatto dwarf'. Still I have to again wonder, is this what they genuinely think Booker is or are they operating under false info because there is no good reason to give them false information... Especially when Comstock himself confronts Booker both in person and via a vid screen and well Comstock knows that Booker is him...so what is up with the Mulatto Dwarf?!

Still deep in Rune Factory 4. Just saved the third Earthmate, Dolce, for the happiness of her ghost stalker...a-ehm, friend, Pico. The game at this point go full on angst and sadness, with a truly good music. It remind me how the first time I played it on the 3ds I was so-not-ready for the plot going full on adventure-esque style.
I can only hope Rune Factory 5 follow the same steps.

Found Elizabeth. This was fun. I don't know what it is but I think I am doing more things to get immersed into the setting this time around. Like when we were fleeing from Song Bird or just going up to the twoer just looking up at all the noises the bird was making as we fled. It helped.
From there though the rest of it is just pretty good stuff actually. One of the better sequences in the game where you flee from the Songbird on the SKylines and probably one of the only times I enjoy the Skylines with *that music* pounding in your head. On another note I have gotten through another area which gave me a lot of problems in the past...without problems. The area where Slate's men ambushes us...well no the men going after Slate ambushes us, get through it in one go.
The whole bit with that one woman calling Elizabeth 'Anna' might've been a little on the nose, but of course my dumb ass self may not have had any idea what she was talking about first time around. Which of course led to a funny moment when I was going around blasting everything in site when the ticket booth acted all weird...and they were ambushing us. Of course this included anything that looked vaguely human...including I think that same woman...who is apparently an immortal God Queen since I didn't actually kill her, though she also wasn't there in the aftermath. Hmm.

SWTOR I did my daily PO (for the Galactic Season) and completed this week personal conquest on my Consular/Inquisitor today. The Inquisitor did some story stuff and the Consular did the Daily PO and that was enough to get the personal conquest done. Nice. My Bounty Hunter is waiting to do the 2 flashpoint with Malgus now, but she has 1m conquest point already (my conquest guild will be happy), I'm going to wait until Tuesday for the FPs I think. That gives me Netflix time. lol. Not much to say outside of "I want to play my Consular/Inquisitor" now. Switching around characters has a revolving door effect on my "character to play mood". ---- GW2 I killed Zaithan again. With my Norn Renegade, which I started last December. I thought she was older. Now I wait for May 25th for the new Season 2/3 achievements before doing them. I can do map completions while waiting, as I actually rushed the story. Mass Effect Legendary release in 2 weeks. My "other game" playtime is going to melt too.

Was offered a chanc eto move from Paderborn in German yt oLevante i nSpain on my Fifa 20 career to tr yand save them from relegation whic hunfortunately I failed t odo durin gthe fina l2 months of the season an dth eclub aren't too hap ywith me fo rthat so I may no tend up being being in charge long despite my long term plan for getting the mbac kup there t otr tyto win in a couple of seasons. So I don' tkno whow muc hlonger my Fifa 20 caree rmode is going to last so this on ecould end up endin gonce I roll past Jun etil the start of the nex tseason. Hopefully I'll get anothe rchancf ebu tif not I can always start a new career or continu ecareers I hav egoing on the other games. Would be a sham ethough as other than a preseason tournamen twin which I think I go tin my first season of this career I haven' tlifted an ytrophies. So I'd like the chance to win more. Guess I'll find out when I get through the summer on the game.

Finished my New Game+ Ultra Hard playthrough of Horizon Zero Dawn. I was glad the final battle against the Deathbringer had a checkpoint, saved a lot of replaying. And now that I have the face paint addons unlocked I will never play on Ultra Hard ever again! Haha. It wasn't that bad with New Game+ but merchant items cost 4 times what they normally do. I bought one outfit that I used once, couldn't afford anything else. ^Aloy visiting Rost's grave. With Rost's Nora Death-Seeker face paint. ^"We'll see about that."

Not sure i could ever play HZD on Ultra-Hard, I am just not good enough. I cheated to get the face paint etc. by using someone else's Ultra Hard 100% completed save after having completed the game myself on normal.

I might be good enough t ogo up to Easy because I don' tdie that often onStory mode though I suspect I'd have to get better at dodging to manage it. TBH I don' tneed th eface paint as I find Aloy looks better without it anyway. Only time I tend to die is if I mis judge a jump o rwhen fighting the bigger tougher machines that kick serious ass like the fros tand fire claws or the deathbringers

In the last three weeks i`ve been with a just one more turn addiction playing Civ6. Won two culture victories with João III and Bà Triêu, a score victory with Trajan and lost a game with Dido. I will be taking a break from the game now (at least i`ll try ) but next i want to play the game as either Kupe, Ambiorix or Amanitore and try the two new maps they added with the last update.

Got a fair bit of the game done. Curiously I can never exactly decide what the best thing to do with Slate is. I mean this time I killed him on the first go considering 'this is what he wanted'. But, well yeah...also not sure if it actually has any effect on the ending really or how it effects Elizabeth overall. Granted she was making more lines about 'I guess survival means doing what it takes'. Which could have been effected by it.
I also find it more then a little hilarious that I have been playing the game to this point without using the hint GPS thing. But then when I needed it finally I figured it out...and been thus using it a lot more.
Got my first death on the day too just didn't see a turret as I was battling a volley gunner when I was trying to get to Elizabeth.
In general and to the same note about going around the areas and I think I have been finding more of the sight seeing movie things. It says I have only found 17 of 37 which....holy crap 37 of them. And I have to assume these are cummalative because all the weapon stats seem to carry over between PTs because well I started off with like 17 shot gun kills when I got one. On that note too I have been using a more wide variety of weapons this time around and getting stuff done which has been popping trophies a lot more. Best example probably was the RPG I was using to gun down Comstocks forces as they were coming up to Slate's area in the Hall of Heroes. And then a bit more...essentially trying to use it as a sniper I guess. Favorite combo still has to be the carbine/ SMG. Though I did get a huge kick that the next upgrade for the Devil's Kiss costs 666 dollars.

Ah yes, the perks of PC gaming, we have dismissed these claims. Haha. I will say that the Banuk weapons are a godsend, couldn't imagine not having them.

I remember the firsttime I took down a Thunderjaw with th eStormslinger. I remember bringing it down wit h3 o r4 shots I think and I remember thinking what a powerful thing this is. It'son eof the main reasons why it became one of m yfavouriet weapons in the game. It eats echo shards fast but it's worth it i fyou need t obring something down fast.Gotta say thank you to Ourea for letting me have hers in the game.

GW2 I "started" map completion on my Norn Renegade. I doubled it in fact. Now at 60%. Lots of maps left to do and I'm doing the ones I hates the most to finish with my favorites. It's better for my sanity. I also made a new ascended weapon for my Renegade. I was running shortbow/staff, but I moved to shortbow/sword+X now. That forced me to make an ascended one-handed sword. I have like 4 ascended greatswords, multiple ascended axes, a hammer, pistol...but never crafted a one-handed sword...I'm now out of ascended material. Then I tried sword/sword and sword/axe despite axe being a condition weapon. End result: Off-hand axe is just better to me. I has a longer range teleport with lower cooldown and crowd control on both skills. Deals a bit less damage but most sword damage comes from the main hands anyway. So sword/axe it is. I still prefer using the shortbow overall anyway.
